I ate my delicious whole wheat everything bagel. The asiago and cheddar were so savory and cheesy and perfect - highly recommend these flavors. I loved my whole wheat everything bagel, it's always my go-to. I just wish they had a tofu cream cheese option like a lot of bagel stores have now, it is really my only complaint with this place. No doubt they are the best bagel spot I've had. They have such a wide variety of bagels and flavored cream cheeses on the menu. Always fresh too! This is hands down my favorite spot for vegetable cream cheese but they do slater on TONS, its enough for another bagel (so make sure to get another plain/flavored bagel toasted) to share some of the yummy cream cheese. This place is almost always busy in the mornings, weekends especially. Expect a wait time of atleast 20 mins. Meh.... not the best bagels ever. I'm sorry I don't see the hype. Only hype is they are open 24/7. Long story short... coming home from JFK after a flight from Aruba you are hangry. And I mean you are famished! So what do you do? Starve to death or eat crap food? Me? I voted on some White Castle Jalapeño Cheeseburgers (I will take 4 please and deal with the pains later!) hahah. But a few others in the family were gagging at the WC idea. So off to A&S we were taken to by our gracious Shuttle Driver. I felt like I should've been drunk with the way I housed this flagel (they call them flats). I was so damn hungry but by the time I got home from my aunt's I still felt a little hungry. Plus it wasn't like the flagel I'm used to. Oh well. Though I've got two pluses for A&S. 1. The flat was fresh and still a little warm. So that's nice I wasn't eating stale bread. 2. Its difficult to hear with the masks, crowd and plexiglass. A little patience goes a long way. I have always admired the fact that this place serves bagels 24/7. I finally decided to try this place out, and boy was I disappointed. I ordered 2 everything bagels, toasted with scallion cream cheese. When I went to pay, I was surprised by the fact that the total cost WAS NINE DOLLARS AND CHANGE. In case you were wondering, that means each bagel was 4+ dollars. This is an absolutely ridiculous price to pay on Long Island, considering that the bagel had basically no topping on it, and it was burnt beyond recognition. I am extremely disappointed in my experience an would never go here again. The bagels weren't anything special, and I am disgusted in the prices they charge people. I don't know if my server put it i the register wrong, or if she was trying to rip me off, but I would never recommend going here. read more

I grew up working in a bagel store. I mixed them, rolled them, and baked them so know a thing or two about a good bagel. This information being known by you now, I would hope you took my advice that the bagels are ok, but they are average NY bagels at best, and depending on where you ever had your BEST NY bagel, these might be sub-par. I won't knock the place though, they are good, and the place never closes. They also supply half the Island with wholesale bagels so with any luck your eating A&S bagels from your local deli on a given day...(i'm exaggerating I don't know how many places they supply but they do a hell of a lot of wholesale that I do know). You won't be disappointed, but you won't be saying they are the best bagels in town and if you are, you need to have your palate checked. read more
