Best bagels ever. Their sandwiches are good but their shmear on the bagels make me so happy! They don't skimp. We did a pickup order online and they were ready the moment we walked into the store. Once again, after about a year away from this place, I tried using their online ordering system again. But once again, frustration. It's just so hard to manipulate the choices the way they have them to order exactly what I want; and I'm not looking for anything Out of the ordinary. Nonetheless, this time I was able to combine things like cream cheese on a bagel and bacon as well; so they got that fixed. And they did add the juices to the online system; kudos for that. Now that I had everything I wanted in the ordering queue, the credit card payment just wouldn't go through. I verified six different times and then press the button to pay I logged off, logged back in. I'm a pretty good troubleshooter, but at some point, anybody would give up. It's just too hard and these things are just too easy to fix. Not sure who manages the system for this store, but they may just be costing them customers. read more

This place is legit, best bagel I've had in years and I am in Wantagh where I only have one place which rivals it but overall 529 wins! I haven't had anything that wasn't above average. Even scrambled eggs are like when I make them at home, not some grill flat overcooked egg pancake. Service well organized with cashiers take orders and payment, and line people for prep. I Came in yesterday morning to order some bagels with my wife and was wondering why the staff that work here are so rude. Yeah the facility is nice, clean & easy to read the menus, but you can't expect residents to call this a 5 star bagels store. I'm a customer service manager, I've seen it all and this is unacceptable and uncalled for. The younger man making the sandwiches was the only one that was helpful. The older lady did not welcome us nor smiled throughout the entire transaction, the younger girl behind her managing the cameras and pickup counter did not seem to be interested in working there. You can't go wrong here. Great food, great service and the prices are on point. When you order, they get your good out fast and fresh. A mediocre bagel that somehow is popular with the locals here in Franklin Square...I'd certainly write a better review if I hadn't been charged over $9 for a mini bagel with tuna salad (a bit too oniony for my taste, but ok) For a better bagel (sandwich) with much better prices, I'd drive to Magic Bagels on Merrick Road in Valley Stream. Service is awesome here. Staff is friendly and QUICK. There's a decent amount of seating and parking - stress free! I got a ham, egg and cheese on the rainbow bagel and it was delicious.
