When arriving, the pickup station is to your right next to the cashier. Staff were friendly and attentive. Inside was clean and smelled like a bagel factory. The sandwich I got was called the works which was egg everything bagel, smoked lox, cream cheese, capers, red onions, lettuce (originally comes with cucumbers) and a tomato. This sandwich was delicious for a bagel spot in Long Island. I'm definitely coming back here. This is a must try. read more

Walked in through the front door; could not believe that the line for a bagel store (even on a Sunday morning) could go all the way to the back door. Strategically, I figured any store this popular must have online ordering, so I use their website and gave in my order. Probably didn't save any time, but at least I got to go around the block and get some exercise while I waited for my food. Big five star compliment, though for this place in all aspects: Got a pumpernickel sesame bagel with bacon, scallion, cream cheese, really that works. It was delicious, Good amount of cream cheese, and not too much. Small bottle of Tropicana and even a little dessert with a cinnamon bun. Hate to say it, but the cinnamon bun was pretty good but dry. And the best part, even ordering online, for a Franklin Avenue in Garden City address, the prices were not outrageous. In today's world, I would even say they were fair. I'd love to come back to this place, they have a lot of help getting through that line and their grill looks to be putting out some pretty wonderful food. We got there around 11:30 and the place was very crowded, at least 15-20 people on line ahead of us. There is a big staff working so our wait was minimal. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with cream cheese (they guy was even courteous to ask me how I wanted my bagel sliced! ) We also ordered a slice of Chocolate Crumb Cake. Now for the food.....4 stars for the bagel. I must say it was delicious, full of raisins and not too doughy! They do not skimp on the cream cheese either. My only complaint is that although my bagel was toasted and sliced as I asked, it was cold, not even warm but still very tasty! 5+ stars for the crumb cake. I have visited their locations in Covert Ave, Nassau Blvd, and Franklin Ave, and the quality of their food is consistently impressive across all of them. However, I do have a preference for the Covert Ave location, not only because of the amazing Covert Wrap but also because of the overall dining experience. My out of town family member orders a few items this morning and accidentally ordered to the wrong location (Nassau Blvd location has been AMAZING with amazing customer service) Now, Franklin Ave location - how absolutely rude and disgusting you were to throw food at my family for a small ordering mix up(the larger woman behind counter) You followed her and you harassed her out of the store . This was so disturbing to hear and see . She was in tears as you berated her. Over a few bagels from children. The Nassau blvd location was so apologetic for Franklin aves completely horrible customer service. They (as in Nassau Blvd) handled it as any food establishment should. I will make it my point to make sure I tell this story to anyone who asks for my recommendation. Save yourself and go to Nassau Blvd location. Franklin Ave - you acted like complete animals , how incredibly rude you are. Let's me just call a spade a spade- the bagels are good but the service ..... for darker hues is disappointing. Living in Garden City- I know some of the uphill battles we still fight to belong but did not expect it from a store run by other minorities. It was 1:49pm on Saturday the 8th and my mum and I walked in to place a lunch order. We were the only customers and there were about 6- remember that- 6 individuals tending to what I assume were takeout orders. For 2-3 mins we stood there with 6 or so people moving about and no one said anything to us, though they clearly saw us. Eventually a young lady said hi, walked away for another minute or so and then came back and asked to take our order. She was distracted talking to her colleagues and must not have heard me say 2x- that I have 3 orders. She then left after just the first and went on to cut ham for a separate order as though we were not watching her. We just had to wait I suppose - again we were the ONLY CUSTOMERS in the store. Also- news flash- Spanish is no longer a foreign language. I stood there listening to them discuss trivial things, ignore me, and continue on their business. I called over to her numerous times and eventually said 'oye!' Got her attention and asked why she was working on another order and what of the other two orders. She brushed it off and said what do you want. Here is THE KICKER - an old white male then entered and quickly he was recognized by those same individuals and quickly greeted by one of the 6 workers - "sir how May i help you today". I was CRUSHED and embarrassed as I told my mum to come here. We walked out and I honestly do not think they were any wiser as to why. I hope at least one of the your staff sees this and reflects on how we show racial bias whether intentional or not. That customer service was far from acceptable but what was worse- the feeling that you are less than, esp from another group of minorities. Money is money. As we left- I heard him make one order - likely $10. I came to make 3. You lost money and a host of customers as a result. Do better, as we all are human. read more
