Niagara Go-Karts is a family-friendly spot that is good for families, kids, and friends wanting to have a good time. It was a Wednesday afternoon and we practically had the track to ourselves. We bought 6 rounds and were able to get 3 rounds free. I recommend checking their website for deals like that so you don't miss out! We got situated in our F1 karts and were ready to roll. The highest speed is allegedly 45mph but I highly doubt I got even close to that despite going full throttle. It was also annoying to have to stop after every lap to hand off a ticket to track how many laps you've done so far. It's hard to race against your friends or get competitive when you're constantly having to stop right as you get comfortable with your speed. They should consider finding a better way to track that and it would also be fun if they had metrics on how fast each group was going and how well each individual races. Nonetheless, it was a fun activity and fairly cheap.

Still many chain restaurants, hotels, entertainment options like haunted houses, arcades, mini golf, ferris wheels, wax museum), and other touristy things such as gift shops. We enjoyed exploring the variety of rides, though because our visit was at the end of the season, not all rides were available. Regardless, we had a great time. The Viper and the Predator were favorites from our visit. Lines were barely forming when we first arrived and kept moving nicely throughout the day. The kids area is very cute with a nice variety of rides. The staff we interacted with were all pleasant and helpful. The park has a good-sized parking lot with some EV charging stations available.

It's always been a charming, manageable park with reasonable wait times. You can easily hit both the amusement park and the waterpark in one day, which is a huge win. Compared to Canada's Wonderland, which I also grew up going to, we definitely prefer Darien Lake now. Wonderland's crowds are out of control, and it's just not worth the hassle anymore. At Darien Lake, you actually get your money's worth. The coaster lineup is solid for a smaller park, with highlights being: Ride of Steel Tantrum Viper The Predator Plus lots of other fun rides scattered throughout the park. As for the waterpark, it was just okay this time. The Lazy River is fairly basic, and two of the more popular slides were running slowly, causing bottlenecks. Not sure why, but the water was freezing cold, especially on slides like Tornado, still a great ride, but would've been more enjoyable with slightly warmer water. Yes, the park is a bit dated in areas and could use some TLC, but despite that, Darien Lake continues to be a lovable and worthwhile spot.
