I decided it would be worth trying a closer option now that I live on the north shore and to be honest, I'm sort of picky, but the reviews here were fantastic so I decided it was worth a shot. WOW, my expectations were exceeded. Don has done my nails each time and does an amazing job. His memory is awesome and he knows exactly how I like my nails, which ones need special attention, and random things I've mentioned about my family. The salon is not the fanciest place I've ever been, but I don't need that - I need a quality experience that allows me to leave with perfect nails. He pays great attention to the work and as everyone has already mentioned, his wife is also very sweet. I feel terrible that my regular nail tech just lost a customer, but I'm so happy to have an option that's closer to my house that offers a great experience.

Our appointment was for 12 PM and we were unfortunately seven minutes late as my kids had misplaced my car keys. I called to let them know and they said it was OK that we still came. The woman that did my mother's nails was very nice and talkative. She had a wonderful personality and was attentive. The nail tech that did my nails on the other hand was the complete opposite. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time, she was not personable or friendly. She didn't speak to me at all only to ask me if my shape was OK and at that point, I didn't feel comfortable enough to tell her that I was not happy with my nails. My nails were almond shaped and outgrown. As shown in the pictures what I left with was not almond shape. In fact, I don't really know what this shape is. They are lumpy and the lengths are all different. My pinky nail on my right hand is also curving to the right and the paint job is messy and rushed looking. When my nails were finished, the technician got up and walked away. She didn't say anything to me. I wasn't even sure how much I owed so I asked the other technician. On their website it states that a fill with gel polish is $48. For my fill and gel polish, with no broken nails, I was charged $60. I mentioned that that was not the price that was posted online, but I didn't make a big deal about it. You're not just paying for a service, you are also paying for an experience. This Is a big part of this job and unfortunately, my technician was lacking in that area. I did not leave feeling good about myself or the job that was done. I have never left a bad review over nails, but I would hate for someone else to have the same experience that I had and I am sorry, but this is not worth $60. Very disappointing.

They got a lot of selection for colors and they got complimentary snacks which was nice so atleast costumers have something to eat while haven't some cleaning done. I also wish that they would have told me that gel was quite a bit more money than the regular, because I had the regular, and I would have just gotten that but I got no price or anything. I should have asked, but I didn't, but again I had the regular nail polish, so they should have just let me get that. A fried suggested nails at last I was a little hesitant because of the plaza but was desperate so I went. I couldn't have been happier. They helped me pick a color which was perfect my pedicure was so relaxing and looks great and my dip polish matched exactly and survived my entire vacation which was excursions pools and the ocean.
