FINAL RESOLUTION UPDATE: Neither corporate nor management broke their silence--I happened to…read morerandomly catch our salesperson, Justin, on the phone. Justin took immediate control and rectified the entire situation himself. He informed us he had absolutely no idea the power boards were still disconnected, was never told that my husband had physically come into the showroom to speak to manager Byron Nelson, and was completely unaware that nobody was reaching back out to us while he was out of office. They found it was just a loose wire and plugged the boards back in (like the Service Dept should've initially done after running their MPI) for $0 out of pocket. While we are incredibly grateful for Justin's personal honesty and quick action, this completely exposes the extreme lack of communication and gatekeeping by AutoNation Ford Katy's management team. We had filed complaints with the Texas DMV, the Texas Attorney General, and the BBB because management chose to stonewall us until we got lucky on the phone. Justin saved this deal, but beware of the management here.

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE!!!!…read more This has to be the absolute WORST dealership I've ever dealt with. I've bought Ford for over 20 years and I can tell you this place is a nightmare. I will never go back here again, and I will make sure everyone that I know in the surrounding area, Katy, Richmond, Rosenberg, you name it, never come to this place. They have the absolute worst customer service if you even want to call it that. No one ever calls you back, the GM's in every department do not care about you, they don't call you back, they are rude, disrespectful, and just downright don't care. All they want to do is sell a car and get you out the door and that's it. I cannot even begin to describe to you how horribly difficult it was to deal with anyone in this dealership, sales, service, management, what an absolute nightmare!!!!!!!!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at BMW of West Houston and would strongly caution…read moreconsumers to thoroughly document every aspect of their transaction. My concerns are: 1. Communication and follow-through from dealership leadership, including General Manager Charles Cannon, were significantly lacking. Calls and requests for updates were not responded to in a timely manner, if at all. 2. The dealership completed the sales process and executed documentation on the vehicle purchase, only to later attempt to unwind or materially alter the transaction while attributing the issue to the lender. From my perspective, the dealership's internal handling errors became mine, the customer's burden after the deal had already been represented as complete. 3. Pricing transparency was a recurring concern. Advertised pricing and actual deal structure did not consistently align, and responsibility was frequently attributed to third parties or external circumstances during negotiations. (super ugliness) 4. Vehicles that had already been sold or otherwise unavailable continued appearing online during the process, which created confusion regarding actual inventory availability. 5. The sales and finance process felt unnecessarily high-pressure. After extensive effort to finalize the purchase, the dealership later attempted to revisit material components of the transaction rather than standing behind the deal structure originally presented. 6. Specific personnel involved in my transaction included salesperson Marvin Barahona-Sanchez and finance representative Shady Yauhari Souky. My experience with the handling and communication throughout the process was extremely frustrating and contributed significantly to the overall negative experience. Additionally, the vehicle itself did not appear fully retail-ready at the time of sale and reportedly required substantial detailing preparation before delivery. (2 hours) Consumers considering this dealership should carefully review all documentation, financing terms, pricing details, and delivery conditions before completing a transaction.

I've bought numerous cars with a pre approved check from NFCU with zero issues at several LEGITIMATE dealerships. This place isn't. Now I can't get them to stop emailing me no matter how many times I click unsubscribe. Scammers... I was ready to drive up and buy a bronco for $51,002 with 8k miles but something seemed off so I called and asked if there are any dealer required add on's or anything and Reyna put me on hold and went and checked with someone and came back and said yes, $2500 reconditioning fee is required. I told her I won't be buying this car then and hung up. A short time later I got a call from Todd who seemed like he called me by accident and I told him what happened and he said thats not accurate and sent me to Sam who sent me a price via email with an out the door price and I was happy about that. So I am on yelp reading these reviews and see how many people have the same misunderstanding and it gives me bad vibes. I then see someone's screenshot below showing the fees and at the top it says they don't take drafts from outside lenders. I find this odd so I email Sam and say I wanted to pay with a personal check for 20k and a NFCU pre approved loan check for 35k and he said they would only take an actual cashier's check. So basically they are forcing you to use their in-house financing with who knows what banks and who knows at what terms. These guys are definitely scammers and only looking to make a buck at every turn. I would stay far away from these guys.

These past few weeks when I have been struggling to use my car with two broken external handles, I…read moreWISHED I had the mechanical skills to fix my car. Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!
