It was after the job was completed that things started happening. With BOTH jobs we've had him do. VERY disappointed, we really liked this guy and have lots more work that needs to be done. Shortly after the second job of painting our entire house, the front door which was originally in a stained wood color but the material is made out of fiberglass. We switched to the fiberglass door to be able to uphold the constant, direct heat and sunlight we get hit with. The original stain that was on there held up for many years but it started to fade. We opted to paint it red, which turned out to be a beautiful color and contrast to the colors of the home. But... shortly after job completion I sent RAY photos of the door, clearly showing it was starting to peel and bubble. I'm talking within a months time or less!! He argued back with me that it was not peeling and that it was just artifacts in the door. After repeated attempts to have him come look, you just give up. Well here we are 2 years later and yesterday as I was blowing the front porch off, a huge section of the paint blew right off!! I texted him and of course, no reply! RAY, May the karma come back to you two fold! Do not bother to hire this guy. Once he's paid, and even prior to completing this last job, communication started lapsing. Our home was severely damaged from a huge storm where we had multiple things that needed replacing. He took off in the middle of the job with the siding already taken off the house and for 2 weeks of trying to reach him, he finally responded he was sick with covid. Whatever RAY!! And now our first job completed by him is failing as well. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS JOKER. YOU'LL BE SORRY YOU DID!

They should have never touched my deck if they didn't think staining it was appropriate. I contacted the company within months of sealant application, and after persistent back-and-forth with Amanda (the manager), the owner (Doug) eventually came out and assessed it and resealed the deck. However, the issue worsened a few months later. Amanda continued the back-and-forth, making me wait for months at times. They now claim the warranty is up, though initially, it was just a few months after application that I contacted them. If a sealant was inappropriate, they should've informed me during the inspection. Even the owner resealed it. If resealing wasn't a viable solution, why offer it? It seems they aimed to run out the warranty. This company is highly unprofessional and won't take responsibility for their work. I've asked for a refund multiple times. Their motto 'Relationships matter more than the brush or the ladder' is far from the truth. They don't care about their work and they definitely do not care about their customers. I don't usually write reviews, but people deserve to know how subpar this company is. I'm beyond disappointed, out $600 for staining that didn't work and destroyed my deck, and now have to pay for a whole new deck. You better believe I will not be using this company to replace it. After investigating the crack they discovered the studs had rotted from water damage, and they didn't miss a beat. They offered to replace the extra studs, and install new installation and drywall. Despite this surprise, they still finished the work within the estimated timeframe for an extremely reasonable cost. The team of two was timely, friendly, professional and did excellent work.
