After being bamboozled by franchise and corporate carpet cleaning companies, I made a firm decision that for the rest of my entire life I would seek out local companies to solicit. I don't know if I found Roberts Floorcare, or if these folks found me. Either way, I'm very glad I made the call to them. I called early on a Monday morning and asked for earliest available....he said he could come right away HashtagWhenProcrastinationGoesRight!! Russell gave me a high level overview of his process of cleaning, deodorizing, and treating the carpet. Just with this, this overview, I began to feel pretty darn hopeful that he would do a great job. Russell arrived on time; actually I ran behind and had to call to ask Russell for more time to move the furniture. He gladly said that wouldn't be a problem; then offered to come on over and move the furniture away from the soiled areas! His process began with retreating the carpet and the heavily soiled areas. Dirt and heavy traffic spots weren't so much my trouble areas, but instead I have pet stains. He then treated those areas with gentle, natural and chemical products to break down the urine stains. Next, he thoroughly cleaned the carpet. He went over the area 2x and gave extra attention to the heavy areas. After the intense cleaning, he treated and deodorized. The carpet was dry by the end of the day. There was no in and out steam job here, All in all the job took about 2 hours; Russell didn't leave until he was certain the carpet looked as best it could. He took care in his work and it showed. 2 days later he gave me a follow up call and I was happy to say no stains resurfaced and the carpet smelled fresh and clean. When I needed clarification regarding one of their services, I called and spoke with Tanya and although the conversation was super brief, she was pleasant. One the day of the scheduled cleaning, Al called me to let me know his estimated time of arrival. Even though I wasn't present when he arrived, my husband told me he showed up at the time he stated. We were so impressed with what he was able to get out of our carpets, I mean he got things out of our carpet that previous companies had not been able to get out. Russell took his time on our carpet, pretreated it thoroughly, and really focused on the tough spots. His method of cleaning not only gives unbelievable results, but interestingly enough the carpet is not very wet once he is done so drying time is a very reasonable 3-6 hrs. He even left us some spot treatment solution to use in between visits! It's so rare to find companies that do great work that I always feel compelled to let others know. Using Roberts Floorcare is a decision you absolutely will not regret!!! I've tried the $29 Groupon deals for the whole house and rented carpet cleaning equipment from Home Depot. I used TWO other reputable carpet cleaning companies to try to remove the smell that could only be created by two little kids (love them but they aren't the neatest people) who carelessly dropped their snacks for a year in our playroom. I have white carpet and a dog (don't ask why we would do that). Steam Doc did an amazing job bringing them back their original beauty. The next morning however, there were some strange splotches in the carpet so I called Steam Doc about it. They were able to come out the same day to fix. The splotches were from old pet stains that had wicked to the surface as the carpet dried. The second round of spot cleaning did the trick and I have beautiful white carpets again. I enjoyed my carpet-cleaning experience with Roberts Floorcare. We just moved into a new home in Marietta and took a chance based on online reviews. Russell was prompt and had a good attitude - he obviously takes pride in the work he does. The pricing seemed reasonable (we didn't exactly shop around, but it was about what I expected to pay). I was particularly impressed that he installed plastic guards at the corners of walls, to protect them from the steam and vacuum hoses. We didn't have any furniture in the house, so I can't comment on how he would manage that. They use an electronic app for scheduling and payments, which is a nice touch. Good afternoon. I'm never the one to write reviews because I know how it feels to deal with the everyday customer. So I just gave this company a call just to request a quote or for someone to come out and look over my grout and tile which might need some repair. She immediately began to tell me they only seal for grout. I mentioned to her that I could be mistaken it might not be that I have damaged grout. The phone call was not even 2 minutes and the customer experience was not great at all. Don't know the ladies name but I definitely felt an attitude over the phone. I let her know I'm just calling so someone could possibly come out and take a look at what may need to be done. I let her know hey if at all possible can it be a Saturday due to me and my wife working late during the week. I never said I couldn't make any arrangements to be home during the week. She immediately begins to tells me how they only work from Mon-Fri. So at that point ma'am. "Thank you, I'm fine and have a blessed day".
