The chicken tenders, the fries, the Mac n cheese, the chicken sandwich, the, the root bear, and the root bear float. To top it off, the employee we spoke to was SO sweet! Thank you Eric! For running a stupid request for me despite being so busy and packed the night I was there. You were the hero of the night and did it with a smile on your face when you could have been fed up. I wasn't given a receipt at the window nor was it in my bag that was brought out to my car and I *needed* to have one. Eric was so polite to somehow find it in the system and bring it back to me. Most would have rolled their eyes, sighed, or made me feel like I was a waste of time and space. Incredible customer service! Give this man a raise. Now for the review: I haven't been to an A&W in YEARS. Possibly 15-20, but let me tell you the level of excitement within as I finally got to go back to one again. This was a tradition with a loved one that passed away, being alone right before Thanksgiving I decided this was the meal to be had. It was Wednesday before Thanksgiving and it was PACKED. In a matter of me making a u-turn it went from 2 cars to a line out to the side road. I had to wait quite a while for my food to be brought out to me, but I can be patient. I can obviously see how packed it is inside and out. They kept pushing all the cars to the front to have food run out to the cars. As I left there were 6 other cars waiting for their food in spaces next to me. I opted for the K18 famous food bowl combo with root beer. Whoa did it taste unlike any bottle or can I've ever had. Delicious! For checking in on Yelp you get a free cookie. The cashier was confused as she had never seen it before, but went with it anyways. I asked to throw on a spoon they had displaying in the window and for $1 more my kid-heart was ecstatic. The mug was $4 and I got one. The glass was heavy and legit + I love collecting them. I had a mini mug thrown in there too. I didn't catch her name, but the gal at the window was so sweet (with the amazing eyeliner) - unsure of everything I was doing, she guided me through with a smile on her face. The cookies were good, famous bowl was nice and hot, root beer was superb, customer service was slow (because of how busy it was) but fantastic. We went to the A&W/KFC at 6660 Camden Ave., Fountain, CO 80817 on Feb. 16th around 4:00-5:00 PM, to order the 2 for $12 advertised on TV. When we got there, they said it was only on Tuesday. However, we did order 2 hamburgers, fries, cheese curds and drinks. When we got home, there was only 1 hamburger., instead of 2. We live some distance from this location, and it was too late to return. Therefore, I am registering my complaint on this site. read more

I was out with my son and he really wanted to go to A&W and since there was one near us we tried this one. First of all the food was being swarmed by flies as they prepared it. I identified the issue to the manager on duty and she advised me that it was something they were trying to handle since the hail storm. I should of left then but chose to stay since that's what my son really wanted. However, I didn't even get a chance to enjoy my food due to swatting the flies away constantly. Also, I ordered a chicken sandwich and when I got my sandwich it had two totally different buns too...hahaha! I have to say I definitely won't be back due to the lack of cleanliness and attention to details! read more

I only showed up to get something on my birthday. Free Root Beer Float. They even asked what size. I know so simple. But the lady handling the drive through was extremely nice, not your usual blan repeated what's your order. And the young African American man at the window was so courteous. I hate flys, no food restaurant should have them! The soda fountain was sticky and wet, several of the tables were dirty. FIVE employees one should have been cleaning, the doors are covered in finger prints. Refused to eat anything. Seriously gross. read more

I want to say the food was great. Hot and fresh. The service was fast and the counter help was friendly. The bad part...the building interior is in poor, poor shape. Ceiling tiles are water damaged, floors and walls are filthy. They do a great job of displaying the trophies of store of the month and manager of the year. Too bad the trophy case is too filthy. This place needs an update! read more
