This is right in the middle of Manitou city. It is in an old health spa building. The ambiance is real retro. There were 6 of us so we tried a lot of different things. We had 2 appetizer the fried Twinkie and Texas balls. Both were ok the fries Twinkie was very spicy but good. The balks were a bit weird for my taste. One of the good things was that the kids loved the kids menu and they let my 14 year old order off of it. The service was great and friendly.

Border Burger Bar is a great place to relax and eat while siteseeing/shopping in Manitou Springs. The menu has a large variety of starters, burgers, sandwiches, salads and sides and everything looked so good as I checked out what others diners had ordered. They also had a full drink menu with both alcoholic and NA beverages. We ordered 2 burgers for 3 of us and also shared the large bowl of tasty coleslaw slaw. The only complaint we had was that the tomato slices on both burgers were really yellow in the middle. We all discarded them. But the hand cut fries were delicious and the burgers were very good. Our server was Cason, and he was perfect. He made great suggestions and in spite of having a lot of tables we never had to wait for anything. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

After exploring Garden of the Gods we were on the hunt for a family friendly place nearby where we could sit down and enjoy a meal. After some searching, Border Burger Bar came up and I'm glad it did as it was a hit for our whole crew! I've been to Manitou Springs many times over the years, but there are still many restaurants I haven't yet tried. This one was new to me, and it really hit the spot on a spring afternoon. If you have kids it's a good option as it's a burger place and they have a robust kids menu. For the grown ups we split a burger and fries, and each tried a local beer. The baby just had a bottle :-) The staff was super friendly, it was easy to get in for lunch, and we had a great time. I'd definitely return if in the mood for burgers next time we're in the area.

Burger and sweet potato fries

Stopped here for a bite after visiting Pike's Peak. Seriously so good! Loved the variety and even the kids meal didn't disappoint. Great burger and loved the locally sourced ingredients! The marshmallow sauce for the sweet potato fries was top notch!

The Miami the Hangover Burger*

My boyfriend and I had a great time dining at this burger spot. I ordered the Miami--also known as the Hangover Burger--and it was a surprisingly delicious combination of queso, caramelized onions, and an over-easy egg. The flavors came together perfectly and definitely lived up to its name. If you're adventurous and not a picky eater, I highly recommend giving it a try--it was exactly what I needed to cure my hangover!

The Incline Spicy Guacamole Burger*

Good spot for a casual burger dining experience with spacious seating. Ordered some appetizers to start which was probably the highlight of the meal. The burgers themselves are all unseasoned. Guacamole was fresh which was great but lacked flavor as well. Their homemade ranch was a highlight. And their fries were very good reminded me of five guys. Overall not a bad spot for this cute shopping area but for a place that has "burger" in the name I think that area lacked the most. Service was fine.

Kids menu

If you have kids this is the spot. The staff is friendly and the food was insanely good. Anyone who gives this place bad reviews is most likely your average miserable yelper. They also have a kids menu which we were unsure of when coming.

Border Burgers seriously blew me away. The burgers were absolutely amazing--juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. And can we talk about the margaritas for a second... why does this burger place have the world's best house marg?! It was dangerously delicious. We were in a hurry with only about 30 minutes before a tour, and they got our food out lightning fast without sacrificing quality. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly what we needed. If you're anywhere near Border Burgers, do yourself a favor and stop in. Incredible food, fast service, and margaritas that deserve their own fan club

Breaded Mozzarella

Wow! We visited in the late winter, so seating was not a problem. My son ordered the Grilled Mozzarella sticks, which were delicious and plentiful. I ordered the Country Frisco. The spicy Asian sauce really tops this chicken sandwich. We couldn't walk away hungry, and a couple of people got to go boxes. The fries are very good, too! Parking was pay-by-the-hour. It's a neat little town with several shops and very nice view.

The Nebraska Patty Melt*

One sure sign that a meal was truly good is when you can still recall its satisfactory taste and presentation hours or days later. That's exactly what happened after my partner and I dined at BBB. He tried the Patty Melt (which he loved) and I ordered the Salmon Burger (which was excellent). A restaurant that can dare to have a seafood burger on their menu and execute it successfully is deserving of major kudos. It was so delicious. Kudos also to our server who was thorough and friendly, as well as the fun patio we got to enjoy. If you're visiting like we were; I'd say BBB should most definitely be on your list!

Fried Pickles half ate

We sat on the patio and it was so nice for early October! Dog friendly, great service and the atmosphere was so chill. I didn't get a picture of my Border salad with the red Chicken but the chicken was fantastic. The hubs had an Elk burger. It wasn't "my thing" but he loved it! Sweet potato fries with marshmallow cream, fried pickles were a hit with their ranch. The lemon vinaigrette dressing on my salad was really tangy but not in a bad way, I'm just not a super tangy person. Should've opted for the ranch. Otherwise, enjoyed everything from the hostess stand to paying the bill! Also, the blueberry blonde beer was so yummy!

If you are looking for a burger to meet everybody's taste, I highly recommend Border Burger Bar. They had burgers from all over the world that included fish, chicken, shrimp, tuna in addition to the meat patty. It's a small place and they try really hard to keep the flow moving so you don't have to wait too long. But because of this the service was a bit poor for our table. It's a cute little place with a big selection of burgers! Give it a try.

This was a supposed to be a burger.

We decided to stop in here from a recommendation from our son-in-law since it was so close to…read moreGarden of the gods. There is public parking across the street and it was $6.99 for two hours. Cute interior! They do warn you the kitchen is very small and it will take some time to make good food, so be prepared to be patient. We ordered a hummus tray as we were starving and that came out quickly and was tasty. It does come with hummus and tzatziki sauce. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and he said it was very tasty and the coleslaw was excellent as well I ordered the Southwest quinoa salad with added grilled chicken, I did ask for a 2nd serving of chimichurri sauce, and it was very tasty My niece had the veggie burger and she said it was very good- It was huge and she had to take half of it home. The craft beers were very tasty and I had a glass of wine as I'm not much of a beer drinker They do have a cute outdoor patio as well. Service was attentive, and if we were in the area would definitely be back. Total bill was about $130 before tip and included a total of four entrées, five beers and a glass of wine The menu both for beer and food is QR code so I have uploaded the food menu so you can see what they have. My understanding is the beers to change on rotation.

Our server was super helpful, patient and answered multiple questions. She was a bright spot! The Manitou Burger with cheese was good. It came with chips which were nice but I wish they had fries. Love all the sauces came on the side. My daughter ordered the plain white Mac and Cheese and while I liked it, she didn't like it all. It was too different of a flavor to make this work for most kids. The nachos are huge and queso was delicious. Enjoyed the beer. We wanted to sit outside but it was full. Inside was nice but the music was just way too loud for a decent table conversation. Pro Tip: no kids menu. Server said most kids order plain burger with cheese or plain Mac and cheese or the street tacos plain.

The food at the Tejon location was amazing. I've never had a juicer, more perfectly cooked burger,…read moreever! That being said, the new location on Dublin was fine. Not bad at all, also not the same. The burger was kind of dry and almost seemed reheated, which is not at all the norm. I was so excited to have a location nearer to me. I love Skirted Heifers and will continue to enjoy the downtown location.

I ordered online. I arrived 1 minute prior to the time it said my order would be ready. I went to…read morethe "Order Pickup" area and the guy passing out orders said they were really busy and backed up but it "looked like my stuff was on the grill". No big deal, it happens. So I grabbed a seat at the stickiest table I think I've ever sat at in my life. After waiting for about 15 minutes and never hearing my name, I noticed a guy walked up to the counter and was handed a black bag. Next to the bag they handed him sat another black bag. I wonder if that's mine, I thought. So I walked back up to the order pickup area and asked they guy, "Did you call my name, Barry?" He checked all the tickets lined up and said to me in the most smug tone he could muster, "Dude, I don't have anyone named Barry". And then just went back to doing whatever. I said, "Hey man, do you not remember? I was just up here looking for my ToGo order. You told me you guys were ba..." and he cut me off and goes, "Oh ToGo?" And then walks over to the black bag that was sitting there and goes, "Barry?" I nod, and he snatched the back up and slings it on the counter and goes back to doing whatever. I said, "Hey man, how long has it been sitting there?" He smugly replied (as if I was a burden) "probably like five minutes" When I asked how come he didn't call me he just ignored me. He just turned around and went back to doing whatever, totally ignoring me.I said, "Look man, I don't want to get back to my hotel (about 10 minutes away) and my food be cold." He just looked at me and shrugged and went back to ignoring me, as if I was a burden to him and the store. I said "hey man, I think it's BS you're ignoring me" to which he just turned around and walked away. Honestly he's lucky I didn't pull him across the counter and teach him some manners, because his momma obviously didn't. Also, the food sucked. But I'm not sure if it was because, and as I suspected, when I got back to the hotel both burgers and the fries were cold. It was so bad we didn't even eat it. We just threw it away. An absolute waste of $40 (and if I'm being honest, I'm not even sure if hot the food would be worth those prices). Any way this place sucks and I hope and bunch of terrible stuff happens to that dude.
