We found Jerry was able to install a replacement toilet the next day. It wasn't an easy job. The first new toilet he brought from the supplier was found broken when the box was opened on site. The process started in August and I didn't get him to start until November. Once we finally got started he would never return any of my calls or texts. I found that he himself did not do any of the repairs but had someone else working on my rig. When it was finally done I found that they had replaced one of the parts incorrectly and had damaged an exhaust fan in my bathroom. Needless to say our pickup did not go well. He did not show up for that either. Camper repairs are tough and there are not many options but for the love of God don't call Travis!

I was greeted with kindness and treated like family. Jimmy and David answered my questions and helped me find what I needed. I was pleasantly surprised to find Gander is part of their store. Not only did they let me stay in their lot, they hooked me up to power and water and didn't charge me anything. They Introduced me to their manager, John, who was equally inviting. The showroom and the store were very nice. I, of course, found some things at Gander I could not pass up and Hunter took good care of me at the store. The next day I asked about staying another night and David said that would be perfectly fine. He even recommended a bike trail close by. When a problem arose numerous people came together to help. These folks have earned my business in the future.

I purchased a Furrion Chill Cube air conditioner from Camping World in Dothan less than 30 days…read moreago. I installed it and used it one time without issue. On the second use, the unit stopped cooling completely. I went back to Camping World expecting them to stand behind a product they had sold me less than a month earlier. Instead, I was told I would have to deal directly with the manufacturer. I understand that manufacturer warranties ultimately go through the manufacturer, but when a product fails almost immediately, I expect the retailer to make some effort to support the customer and the product they sold. What made the experience worse was how it was handled. The service counter staff were short and dismissive, and speaking with the manager did not improve the situation. There was very little effort to help resolve the problem or even acknowledge the frustration of having a brand new unit fail right away. To be fair, the manufacture (Furrion/Lippert) has been responsive so far, and I appreciate their assistance. My complaint is specifically about Camping World of Dothan and the lack of after-sale customer service. A brand new air conditioner shouldn't fail after essentially one use, and a customer shouldn't feel abandoned less than 30 days after spending their money. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to purchase another major RV component or anything else from this location. Selling the product is one thing. How you handle a problem afterward says much more.

It was an awning/slide topper sticking and causing the slide out to jump when being extended. He adjusted the topper hardware to solve the problem. My front air conditioner would not come on. He checked the thermostat and then found a burned out wire in the rooftop unit. He replaced the wire and the air conditioner worked fine after that. I highly recommend Brock's RV Repair!

Liz told me that they would try to find the boards and would call me in a couple of hours. I haven't heard from them since. I called them once and got a canned reply (I will call you back), but not a word since. They were very friendly and certainly seemed knowledgeable, but why we're not communicating is a mystery.
