We needed a fan blade for our camper. Miranda found the fan and followed the guidelines she found saying that it was $50. The credit card machine didn't work so we had to pay cash. When part of the internet came up she put in the number on the box and the price was 89.95. The manager said to charge us what she quoted us. They took great care of us!! I would not recommend this dealer for any type of repair on your RV. They were horrible to work with and had our RV for almost 6 months and still did not repair all the items on the punch list. Some very obvious issues were missed. They were never responsive and I had to follow up with them each and every time to get information and updates. We had to get the service manager involved to get resolution. I feel like overall there was a negative attitude in the service dept and no one stepped up to really attempt to satisfy the customer. I will never bring our RV here again and wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. It was extremely stressful and frustrating! In addition to not fixing some of the initial problems, they were not neat and tidy while working in the RV and we now have damaged walls, scratched table, loose floor transitions and will need some major touch up to get it back to where it was when they took it in. read more

July-Sept 2023 - 5th wheel released to this location for consignment. Upon pick up 3 months after delivery, unit not sold - clean grey and black tanks were no longer clean. Veneer peeling from both side of laundry room door. Control panel had been manipulated and screw connectors were broken. Most egregious of all - Lift top coffee table which was a part of the original 5th wheel equipment had been stolen. There was and has been no concern from this dealership. I wouldn't even give them a star if I didn't have to. We got two different stories as to why the generator door was missing when we bought it. They lie about the repairs to your camper. You get it back with the same issues after them having it a month. Now I know there is a list they need to compile of things that are wrong with the camper when it comes in and a list of what they did to fix it. When picking up our camper I asked what was wrong with the one jack and I was told that's how it's supposed to be. No it's bent and they lied about it. It needs to be replaced. We have had a bad experience with this business. We bought this Camper for an 86yo women, and the sales rep told use the 1st year warranty covered them coming and fixing any issues. Because we did not buy the $5000 extended warranty, they tells we can not help you. We bought a 2023 379fsb Open Range 2 months ago. The 1st thing the large rear window blinds were broken when we got home, and it took a month to get it fixed. We were missing 2 chairs and still have not received them. 1st time we tried to use furnace it will not light, and they want send someone to fix it. Stay away from this Business. read more

I would like to update my complaints about Bama RV concerning poor service work on our RV. After buying our RV, we immediately had problems with the slide not working properly. Sometimes it would open, other times not, forcing us to hand crank the slide open and closed. Not an easy task! After MANY trips to Bama RV to correct the problem while the unit was still under warranty with no results, we finally decided they were not capable of diagnosing and repairing the problem. In addition it was a four hour round trip every time we took the RV in for this problem. We eventually took the RV to a repair facility in Prattville that found the problem immediately! The problem was such a simple fix....a loose connection from the slide to the motor operating the slide. RV repair 101 and Bama could not find the problem????? Their poor service cost us over $300 to be repaired by another company but taught a valuable lesson....DO NOT BUY FROM BAMA RV IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO PROVIDE SERVICE AFTER THE SALE. read more

I have been a Bama RV customer for a few years now. I can clearly state that Dave and his team are one of the best businesses to work with in the area. You will not find a greater customer service experience within driving distance of the area. If you ever stop by on a Saturday you will notice due to the large amount of customer traffic. Currently, they are severely limited in space for both sales and services, however, they are working on expanding their site as quick as they can. This is a very busy place and the service center even more so. I know the entire team in the service department and they have always taken care of every one of my requests or concerns. We bought our 2011 Surveyor SP293 in January 2011 from Bama RV. We researched & shopped for a travel trailer for 7 months. After visiting several sales outlets, we found Bama RV. They had exactly what we needed. They didn't try to oversell us or pressure us into buying. They understood my concerns about the limitations of our tow vehicle and recommended a TT to match it. After a year of towing, I've never had a bit of worry from this TT. Their customer service and willingness to help newbies is very comforting. They didn't try to sell us a TT that was 2500# heavier than our 2004 Tundra could safely pull. I had done enough research to know what the Tundra with towing package could safely pull. The other dealers always tried to sell us a TT that matched the towing capacity of the Tundra, without taking into consideration all of the extra stuff that you need to tow. They provided plenty of help with our new purchase. They worked diligently through a couple of manufacturer warranty problems and didn't leave us hanging. They have stayed in touch with us regularly to make sure we're still happy with our purchase is still meeting our needs. They've always been pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. He truly cared about meeting my needs. His style was impressive, as he was "consultative" and not "pushy." Brad did a great job with having all the paperwork ready and explaining warranty coverage. He was extremely professional. Jessie did a wonderful job with our "walk through." He explained everything very thoroughly and made sure all of our questions were answered. Nick was great in the parts and service department. He recommended what we truly needed for an effective set up. As for CJ Johnson in service......Words can not describe the great deal of gratitude my husband and I have for him. He is very knowledgeable on all campers/rvs, etc as well as the set up process. He personally drove the travel trailer I purchased to Auburn AND set it up for us to enjoy THAT weekend! He did not leave Auburn until everything was set up correctly and the satellite was installed. Well last month I wrote a review on what a great experience it was to get our RV repaired at Bama RV. We the slide got stuck when we were there last month.they helped us get it lined out. February 1st when we were moving to another campground in East Alabama the slide quit while we were trying to get it closed. I worked on it for 2hrs and had no luck. I called several places trying to get some help.No one had the time or never called back. I let the motor cool down then trued again.We got it back in finally. When we got to the campground went to put the slide out. It quit halfway out. Finally had to remove the motor and put the slide back in manually. Well I called Bama RV to get an appointment to get back in to get repaired. To start out they were working with me to schedule an appointment. I was back and forth with them the whole next week. They started putting me off and not returning my calls. I even called Forest River to get the parts preapproved so they could get the part faster. The service counter person said he would get the paperwork through so we could get it repaired. He didn't get the paperwork in and wouldn't call me back. I called the service manager to talk to him. He said he would check into what was going on and said he would call me back and never did. I talked to another service person. He said he would check into it and call me back and didn't. So yesterday I called the service manager. He said he would check it out and call me. Well I called Forest River back and offered to pay for the overnight shipping so we could have the part there when we came up. The service manager give me the run-around and said he would take care of the paperwork. He didn't call back. I then found out from Forest River that Bama RV never ordered the part like they said they did. Well 2 weeks later we are still sitting with our slide in. Very cramped and very disappointed by the way we were treated. We are cutting our vacation short to drive back to North Carolina to our dealership to get the repairs. Losing several hundred dollars in camping on top of it all. Needless to say all they had to do is be up front with me and tell me they don't like doing warranty work when the RV wasn't purchased there. My wife and I visited Bama RV in early June 2017 as we had been looking for an RV trailer for a while. When we got there, we were helped out and shown the trailers by CJ. He did great and was very friendly, even though he's not a salesperson. He normally works in the parts department. He showed us the features of various models, drove us around the lot to look at different trailers, and made some suggestions. We eventually bought a WolfPup Limited model. Brad handled the paperwork and was very good to work with. We couldn't take the trailer home the day we bought it, so we came back the next weekend and finished the deal. Bama RV installed a brake controller also as part of the purchase price. Jeremy was very helpful with familiarizing us and explaining how to operate everything in the trailer, which was good seeing as how my wife and I had never had an RV before. We camped soon after that and everything was great. We even called CJ back while we were camping to ask a question about one of the water tanks. He took the time to talk with us and gave us some ideas on what the problem could be. Overall, buying from Bama RV was a great experience. We would do it again.
