The burgers and fries were so shockingly salty that they were inedible. When we spoke to the manager the reply was they can't be because everything is pre seasoned. WHAT?? First time in town and I see a A&W and wanted to give it a test! (Super happy about a root beer float)It literally says open until 12am and it had a big unprofessional sign stating that they are "Closed" but there was 3 cars outside and employees inside ! They even closed the drive-thru down with cones ! Whoever runs this establishment should watch their closing team, it's bad for business it' was only 8:30pm when I approached the store ! We got coupons in the mail and we decided to get some fast food. We ordered 2 papa burgers, 1 double bacon burger combo fries and root beer and onion rings and regular milkshake. Ended up being $18 dollars. Due to the Covid-19 people are not allowed to go inside the restaurant. You can order curbside or do drive thru and yes they will take your coupons. Not bad for the price. Now for the quality not so bad as my burger tasted just okay not the best or the worst. The milk shake was very good as well. The fries and onion rings were cold however and did not taste good. Anyways I would come here again for the coupons as the price was not bad. Get the papa sauce. read more

Best root beer ever but I'm gonna have to buy bulk from grocery stores because this place absolutely sucks. First, they are kind when taking your order- smiles etc- but you get what you get because they know you are driving away. No catsup ever. Every special request is confirmed with a smile BUT-not what you get. Pretty gross thinking they throw in cold greasy pre cooked sandwiches and pretend it's what you ordered. This is one of those times I wish I could give zero stars!! Went through the drive thru & had the worst customer service. No manners. No customer curtesy, no enthusiasm. Then I handed her my card & it took her 2 minutes to give me my card back. I was notified immediately after I gave it to her that my card was charged, but still it took so long for me to get it back. Hadn't used that card in over & week & miraculously, my card information has been stolen. I called the store & it was the store manager running the drive thru window during that time. I was hoping to make this A&W part of our cheap Tuesday date nights. We usually see a movie across the street at the lovely Palladio theater for $5, so when I found out that the Tuesday deal at A&W was a BOGO Papa burger combo, I thought it would be perfect. Dinner and a movie for under $20! It is a good deal for $7.77 (2 Papa burgers, 2 fries, and 2 drinks) and tastes ok (nothing close to In N Out though) but I'll probably stick to paying full price for In N Out for my fast food burger option in the future. Service was pretty slow. I think there were only 2, maybe 3 employees working. All were very nice but very behind in the ordering process. The staff would take someone's order and then go back to the kitchen and help make the food! Would come back in a few minutes and take the next customer's order. Extremely inefficient, especially since there were 4 people in front of me at the time. Good thing I allowed extra time before our movie! Seemed like everyone got their food pretty quickly though, including our order, and it was correct (with special requests). So extra star for getting our food in a timely manner and polite staff who remained calm and without attitude dealing with the growing line of customers starting to sigh heavily and roll eyes (me), waiting to order their fast food. read more

I wish I could leave no stars. The girl at the drive through was rude and I still remained polite. Then I was told to pull around at wait for my food. After waiting for about 15 minutes I received my food. It was cold! I waited so long for cold food! And it's not like it was just for me it was for my little boy too! And they forgot his cookie. This place is absolutely terrible. They need to hire better employees. You'd think you'd get better service in this nice of an area. And it's not like the food is super cheap. So first off I'd like to say I've had decent encounters before today. My girlfriend and I pulled up to the drive through which had a total of 3 cars in it and only one in front of us ordering. It took 5 minutes to pull up to the order stand and Karly, the employee taking our order, asked us to hold. We spent 7 minutes waiting for one car in front of us at the window to get their food and then she took our order at 5:54. It took us until 6:06, 12 minutes, to receive our order in which we sat at the widow waiting to pay for another 5 minutes. We could see a manager behind her standing doing nothing with a completely empty restaurant while she got everything together for us. We spent a little over 25 minutes total to receive 2 meals. A little ridiculous for 3 cars ahead of us to begin with (2 of which were just waiting to get their food). Do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Decided to come back 2 years later to this place and it still sucks. They charged me 20 dollars for 1 cheeseburger combo and cheese curds. So they fixed it and gave me cash back, but then the manager comes to the window to tell me that they're out of food and their grill is conveniently broken when I ordered. So he told me to wait and it'll be 10 minutes. So I'm writing this review sitting in my car in the parking lot, waiting. This place still sucks, they can't make food, take orders properly, they can't even take 2 separate orders still. I don't even give you anything free for sucking. Definitely skip this place and go to Wendy's across the parking lot. Also, 10 minutes went by and they didn't bring my food out so I had to get down and argue with them to get it. read more

I am a big fan of A&W. My go to order is a Papa Burger and a frosty mug of root beer from the in store tap. This root beer is better than the stuff you can buy in the store. Sadly, on my most recent visit the tap was down and the servers did not know when it would be repaired. Total bummer. The Papa Burger still brought it though. Two well seasoned patties equaling a 1/3 lb. LTOP and cheese on a buttery bun. Still an underrated burger in the fast food world. Won't be back until the tap is fixed. read more
