Visiting in California, we had to try In -N - Out Burgers before heading home. There are so many Burger joints here but In -N- Out has a following so we headed there. As soon as you enter you are greeted. The place was clean and with red and white tiles. I had watched a video of hidden items on the menu and ordered an animal style cheese burger(lettuce, grilled onions, special sauce) and extra done fries and grilled bun. Everything was very tasty and we were in and out within 10 minutes. Wish we had them in Sarasota. This was the best burger joint for fast food I have encountered. Always seems to be busy for a reason.

Everything's always evenly distributed in my burger :)

If you're in a pinch and want something quick and satisfying, In-N-Out burger is usually my go to. Although the drive-through line always looks very intimidating, they seem to always get me through the line quickly. They are very efficient when taking orders through drive-through and when you go in the store as well. My absolute favorite, which is non-negotiable are their french fries! There's a handful of secret menu items, which makes it fun . I love how they have a little sticker/activity books for the kids or hats if they prefer. Sidenote, on a rainy day, kids get a free hot chocolate milk :) I love how they have kid friendly options and activities. To say the least, I if you have not tried In-N-Out burger, you're probably missing out. ;p

I always have a great experience with the food and workers at in n out and this place is no different. The drive through line was long, so I went to order inside. The line was long but went by very quick. My order is a bit complicated but the workers are never judgy, or at least they don't show it. Food came out pretty quick for how busy it was. The tables are clean and the food is delicious as always. There was an older gentleman working and he was super nice, making sure I had everything I needed.

Talk about a smooth experience! Our first time here can you believe it? Both my wife knew what we wanted & the car line was extensive. We didn't sweat it. We were in & out of there in 15 minutes maybe less! Sorry for the pun. I got a double double cheeseburger with onions & cheese & my wife got her lettuce wrapped double animal style burger with no cheese & no bun! It came to 12.07. They do ask if you're eating in the car & we were planning to. My wife did ask for ketchup just in case she needed it. The restaurant drive through experience was awesome as we ordered from an actual person outside the restaurant so we didn't need to walk inside. Very convenient & smooth! Ambiance was great! Burgers were perfect tasting & DEELEECIOUS!!! No wonder people love in & out burgers! We Californians are so aware of this! We are just so lucky & blessed! Believe me when you travel outside of the country it's a different world! So don't take this for granted.,.

    hair in food

There was a hair in my food, disgusting! The service was fine but as soon as I came home, I didn't exact this surprise waiting for me

I haven't been to an in-n-out in a while and asked Hakim (who was cleaning the drink station) where the ketchup was at. Such a kind gentlemen. He asked how many I needed and brought them to me with napkins. Made me feel so happy. Thanks Hakim and thanks In-N-Out for employing members of our elder community. Also want to add that when I was sitting outside eating and reading my book, he asked me how everything was with a warm sincere smile.

The parking lot is a hot mess. Chaos! If you plan to park in the lot, just make sure you don't park in the spots next to the double drive thru lane. If you do, you may find yourself stuck there for quite awhile. You'll need to get the coordinated cooperation, of multiple drivers in the double drive thru lane, to back out of the space. Then you're stuck for the ride until you can bail out of the drive thru lane. Ugh. At peak times, the drive thru lane is ridiculously long. It's not an uncommon sight to see a queue of cars stretching out onto Old Placerville Road. This location is the only In and Out location in Folsom. Staff are great but not car valets. They don't monitor the traffic in the lot. The food is standard In and Out, prepared as expected.

An old school favorite when visiting the west coast, In-N-Out burger is good, consistent, and always fresh. Service is quick, friendly, and ambiance is casual and clean. Spread as pictured - we got the animal fries spread on the side to avoid the fries being soggy. Burgers are always fresh and delicious and it never disappoints.

This in and out was super dirty. Why?? Food is always on point. However I don't know if the people who are doing the burger are able to wrap the lettuce burger. My burger was falling apart. The people were nice and took my order well. Just to dirty. Do I recommend here? If you don't mind the dirty by all means.

I had a great lunch with my family, thanks to the employee Hakim for keeping a clean and tidy restaurant. In n Out is extremely fortunate to have this person working for them. He is a wonderful, hardworking sweet human, and he made an ordinary trip for a quick lunch a beautiful experience. If I owned this restaurant I would be sure to cherish and reciprocate his hard work with appropriate pay and loyalty to him as a person.

(We love that we can order from the…read moreKiosk ourselves) Sometimes, they're out in the back cooking and if we need to help ourselves, we do with the Kiosk. Music wasn't too loud, Tables were relatively clean for a Thursday afternoon and Service was very good. I noticed the guys working on the food after we order, I had no idea it was made it order. That's absolutely amazing. It takes a few minutes, however the food is soooo worth it. The buns are Martins Potato Buns and of course, being Martins they're super tasty! A lot of High end chains use Martins so naturally, I was happy to see the brand. (These buns stay together but when sauced they like to slide and that's how I could tell it was Martins! After our food, we were able to get lids and to-go boxes just by asking the gentleman working there. I think his name was Andrew if I remember correctly. There's a small crew working here that is very nice and hard working. I've never once seen any big issues here and the food is pretty consistent. There are some small changes here and there, but the food overall is very good compared to other restaurants. This place isn't even a chain and it's super tasty. I wish they were closer to where I live because I would end up eating here 2-3 days a week. It sucks my daughter can't have this food otherwise I'm sure she'd love this one too. She has a peanut allergy, and they do use peanut oil as I asked the last time I came here. (do your due diligence and make sure you ask about allergens if you are allergic to peanuts) They do in fact, use Peanut oil. If you want some good food, This is a place to try. I've been here a couple of times already. Don't expect this place to be your typical fast food. They're not your average fast food because if anything, it is fast casual. Service is very well. I can't imagine Andrew having a single bad bone in his body. If you want cheap frozen ready to go food, this is not the place. If you want something made to order, then this is your jam. Only thing I can mention: Soda selection is smaller than usually used to when I eat outside of home. Honorary Mention: Service is killer dude's an Angel. (Stubborn Brand Root Beer), Martins Potato Buns, Crispy Steakhouse Fries and Suuuuuper Tasty Mac & Cheese. The next time I stop by, I will try their Sweets and Update my Review. Overall, this place gets a solid and VERY thought through 8.9/10. That is my rating before, that is my rating again. Customer service is still great, very nice and approachable. And food is top-notch for the price. Only issue was the egg over hard again, which was significantly better the 2nd time, but still had a little runny yolk. My wife likes her eggs borderline burnt, to the point its almost rubbery. First impressions after ordering, dirty, bathrooms were dirty, pieces toilet paper scattered on the floor, water spots all over the mirror. A table when I exited the bathroom had bird poop on it. We opted to sit outside, tables dirty, umbrellas filthy, we chose the least dirty table to sit at. Now to the food. I had the classic burger, looked ok when it arrived but it was not special at all, in fact if I had to vote, it would be the worst burger in town. It was spongy, texture was weird and it had no flavor (salt is your friend guys). I ate about half of it and could eat no more. I actually felt sick after eating it. There are better options near by, I would skip this place.

Smoky inside and needs more ventilation. **adding that after reading reviews, I don't love how the owner addresses concerns toward visitors.
