After a few disappointing visits, I wasn't sure what to expect this time, but I'm so glad we gave this Lazy Dog location another chance! This visit was a complete turnaround. Our waiter, Troy, was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. He checked on us throughout the meal without ever being overbearing, made sure we had everything we needed, and provided excellent service with a great attitude. He truly made our dining experience enjoyable. The food came out quickly, was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Everything about this visit was so much better than our previous experiences. The servers here are out of this world SLOW. Many times l have gotten my drink after the food is out. I also had a sharp stick in my food one time. I tipped 10 percent on an 40$ bill one time cause it was terrible and a server literally said to her friend "wow he's gonna tip a whole 4$ dollars as she grabbed my change very loudly." Nice. visit this location recently with my dog. the waiter never gave us a refill mind u she was giving the other tables around us a refill before their drinks was empty. we seen multiple tables with pitchers of waters to fill up their dogs bowl for a drink so we asked for one also and just got a bowl we just had got tired of waiting for refills and a pitcher of water so we just paid the bill left a tip regardless of the shitty service. 2 do not order the ribs they are not tender at all, they are dry and just not appetizing to eat read more

Lazy Dog is my new favorite restaurant for 2026! The ambience is cozy, but the food is fun and delicious. For drinks, I had the peanut butter cold brew. It tastes like a sweet peanut butter chocolate latte with a great mouthfeel. The rum barrel punch was also tasty, with sweet fruit notes and a pineapple topper. For starters, we did the French pastry bites with au jus. Super flavorful, and the au jus for dipping was killer. For the main, I had the PB&J burger, medium rare. The burger was juicy and cooked perfectly. The fun starts with crispy candied bacon and salty cheese, with peanut butter and jelly bringing all the saltiness forward. Sounds strange, but it was amazing! The fish and chips were perfectly flaky and had a great crunch but not overly greasy. Also, order the truffle fries with the sauce, it's worth the try. read more

Wow, I can't believe we postponed coming to Lazy Dog for so long! My husband went here first with some buddies, but he only ate with his eyes that initial visit. Because everything looked so appetizing to him, he nudged me to try Lazy Dog out together on one of our dates nights. We were NOT disappointed. First of all, I loved that the manager(?) came over and greeted us tableside. He asked if this was our first visit, got us some complimentary potato chips for starters, and then gave us a discount coupon to use at a future visit. Next came the food. I can't remember what my husband had, but he loved his dish (some kind of Mediterranean bowl?). I ordered the fish and chips and they BLEW MY SOCKS OFF. I'm not kidding when I say these were the best fish and chips I've ever had - not greasy or heavy, perfect amount of batter, cooked to perfection. I mean, I dream about these fish and chips! Our dinner was satisfying and delicious and we will definitely be back. The only con was that because the patio is dog friendly, we got seated next to a giant puddle of a questionable something. Ordered nachos from Lazy Dog via DoorDash, so this review is for food only. The food arrived warm, so DoorDash was fine and no issues with their delivery. The nachos were just subpar and honestly the worst I've had-- which is surprising for an easy order like nachos. The chips tasted stale and are so thin they got soggy fast, unable to hold any toppings. The cheese sauce was worse. So bland and gummy!! The other toppings were just there. Ordered the first things that caught our eyes -- spicy crispy tuna from large plate shareables, wild caught seabass from the protein menu, watermelon margarita, and butter cake. This was honestly one of the perfect dinner pairings for two!! Everything was delicious, well-balanced. The seabass was perfectly cooked, melting in our mouths with mild explosions of flavor from the sauce, veggies and pureed cauliflower. Also love the crispiness of the rice tuna. I made reservations for dinner, and I'm so glad I did because the place was packed. Clearly everyone else had the same idea we did! We started with a beer flight, which was a great choice--trying a few different beers felt like a fun little adventure. She also listened well and our guest hadn't been to Lazy Dog in several years and Emma provided a complimentary card for an appetizer or dessert. way to win a customer. My fav pictured is the ahi tuna crunch. Seared perfectly and accompanied by edamame, ginger, sliced pickled cucumbers along with jasmine rice. It's so good and satisfying. We were here 6/6/26 mid-afternoon in town for a boys volleyball tournament. We called ahead to let them know we would be 24 people. When we arrived they almost had a table ready for us, then turned out we had a few more people that pushed a few more tables together. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy, but it was likely shift change time and yet we had multiple staff helping out, all positive, warm and friendly service. Wish I had photos of the great variety of food we all had but I didn't think fast enough. I didn't hear anyone that didn't care for their meal and everyone was happy with their entree and the service. The menu has a vast variety of options with something for everyone I ended up with a with the Inside Out Quesadillas that were deliciously cheesy with that nice crispy cheese on the outside and a Don Julio Cadillac margarita without salt. My son had the BBQ Ranch Bacon Burger and a root beer. Both perfectly done and I so appreciate my drink being right the first time without salt. Surprising how often that gets missed and then they dump the drink out over the salt into the new glass. They got it right here the first time so big win in my eyes. They didn't miss a beat with service or refilling the water carafes on the table. We all felt well taken care of and appreciate the separate bills in the end. I would dine here again with my family or a large group anytime. We love Lazy Dog closer to home at the Dublin location and the Folsom location met and exceeded our expectations. My husband pays for beer club and every time we've come in lately whoever works at the front just seems like they hate either us or their job. No one is ever very friendly and they act like it's an inconvenience to pick up for beer club even though it's literally 2 steps away from their register. The staff isn't very friendly in general and honestly we probably won't be back for anything other than to just pick up for beer club and will have to dread that now, too. Lazy Dog was busy as it's in the Palladio and it's holiday season but the bartender and staff were on point with their service and kept everything moving. However, while I was outside waiting for family to come out to leave, I saw three giant rats scurrying around the front patio and in the bushes feet away from the outside seating area/bar. I was leaning against the handrail and there was one beside me on the rail next to the planter. I screamed and it ran off. I have never seen so many rats like that outside of a busy restaurant before and they're bold enough to be out when people are around and also climbing on the rails people touch. Absolutely disgusting. If I had seen the rats upon coming in, we would have immediately left. It's gross to think about tbh. read more

I've been on a healthy eating kick lately and wanted to come and check out some of their salads so we dropped in on a quiet Sunday evening. My server for the night , if you could even call her that was extremely rude and judgmental twards me the entire night, she was a middle or younger aged heavy set short girl. I was kind, I asked her how her night was going and she brushed it off. When ordering drinks she asked for my id which I had already had out and YANKED it from my hands and asked if I knew my birthday. I've worked in restaurants my entire life and I've never even thought to ask someone if they knew there own age, I'm not being pulled over , she's not a cop I am just simply trying to give lazy dog my business and order a drink when that's one of the things they are known for. She made me repeat the drink I wanted while my id was still in this woman's hands , which another thing she should have never touched my id. She didn't ask or bat an eye at my husband id and focused on makeing me feel unwanted . The rest of the night the service was slow and she never checked up on us but went out of her way to talk to everyone around us. My drink had little to no alcohol in it and my food looked sloppy, I was already put off hearing there are rats at lazy dog but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and give it a try, server left for her lunch and I hope she didn't treat anyone else like a criminal all night. I'm appalled that a server at a little restaurant like lazy DOG is going to have enough of a power trip to question me like she's a cop. I will not be comeing back and I hope she doesn't either, I hope the company makes the correct decision to have consequences to her actions so she doesn't ruin anyone else's day! read more

Our server was friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing. We were dining with our baby and our food took a long time to come out. While waiting, we saw what appeared to be a mouse or rat running around the outdoor seating area where we were sitting. We immediately asked to move inside, and while our server apologized, that was the extent of the response. Seeing a rodent near our table completely turned my stomach and made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Our family of 5 sat outside on this lovely afternoon. This was our first time here and we will most definitely come again!! Looked like there was a lunch rush but we were sat immediately our sever was very nice even though she seemed very busy. She ordered our food and drinks pretty immediately. My husband ordered a bloody mary and we tried the peanut butter cold brew which was surprisingly delicious. The starters came out quick. We went with a party of roughly 11 and the staff was extremely accommodating (quick service, splitting checks, and no food mess-ups). And the food was great!
