visit this location recently with my dog. the waiter never gave us a refill mind u she was giving the other tables around us a refill before their drinks was empty. we seen multiple tables with pitchers of waters to fill up their dogs bowl for a drink so we asked for one also and just got a bowl we just had got tired of waiting for refills and a pitcher of water so we just paid the bill left a tip regardless of the shitty service. 2 do not order the ribs they are not tender at all, they are dry and just not appetizing to eat

Got the call for dinner and didn't even hesitate--grabbed the truck, scooped up little man, and headed out to see my friend at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar. This spot delivered last time, so expectations were already set... and somehow this Sunday still leveled up. From the moment we walked in, it just felt easy--like the kind of place you can settle into and actually enjoy the night without rushing anything. We kicked it off with the firecracker shrimp, and yeah... you have to do it with that thin rice cake layer to tie it all together--otherwise you're just playing yourself. Then I went with the bibimbap with an egg, and that dish came out hitting on all levels. Flavor, texture, heat... it all worked. One of those meals where you slow down a bit just to enjoy it. Add in good company and the whole thing just lands different. Shoutout to our waitress too--super attentive, friendly, and made everything feel smooth without hovering. We grabbed a spot inside next to the fireplace, and it brought that extra level of comfort to the night. Real talk, this was one of those simple Sunday dinners that just hits right. Good food, good people, and a perfect way to close out the weekend.

Ok first let me say this is the first time to this location! We have been to the Lincoln location twice and we really liked it!! This area in Folsom is beautiful!! Ambiance in this place is really nice!!! Service was great!! The guy that helped us was really cool and funny!! Food was very tasty ! I will put pics up check them out!! Come check out this whole area!! A lot of shops and places to eat!! Very nice!!

Lazy Dog is my new favorite restaurant for 2026! The ambience is cozy, but the food is fun and delicious. For drinks, I had the peanut butter cold brew. It tastes like a sweet peanut butter chocolate latte with a great mouthfeel. The rum barrel punch was also tasty, with sweet fruit notes and a pineapple topper. For starters, we did the French pastry bites with au jus. Super flavorful, and the au jus for dipping was killer. For the main, I had the PB&J burger, medium rare. The burger was juicy and cooked perfectly. The fun starts with crispy candied bacon and salty cheese, with peanut butter and jelly bringing all the saltiness forward. Sounds strange, but it was amazing! The fish and chips were perfectly flaky and had a great crunch but not overly greasy. Also, order the truffle fries with the sauce, it's worth the try.

Wow, I can't believe we postponed coming to Lazy Dog for so long! My husband went here first with some buddies, but he only ate with his eyes that initial visit. Because everything looked so appetizing to him, he nudged me to try Lazy Dog out together on one of our dates nights. We were NOT disappointed. First of all, I loved that the manager(?) came over and greeted us tableside. He asked if this was our first visit, got us some complimentary potato chips for starters, and then gave us a discount coupon to use at a future visit. Next came the food. I can't remember what my husband had, but he loved his dish (some kind of Mediterranean bowl?). I ordered the fish and chips and they BLEW MY SOCKS OFF. I'm not kidding when I say these were the best fish and chips I've ever had - not greasy or heavy, perfect amount of batter, cooked to perfection. I mean, I dream about these fish and chips! Our dinner was satisfying and delicious and we will definitely be back. The only con was that because the patio is dog friendly, we got seated next to a giant puddle of a questionable something. Could've been just water, but could've been pee. I guess we'll never know. However, my husband asked for a different table, just for peace of mind during our meal.

Amazing food, and even amazing service!!!! Came here an hour before closing, but was welcomed warmly and got our food so quickly. Ordered the first things that caught our eyes -- spicy crispy tuna from large plate shareables, wild caught seabass from the protein menu, watermelon margarita, and butter cake. This was honestly one of the perfect dinner pairings for two!! Everything was delicious, well-balanced. The seabass was perfectly cooked, melting in our mouths with mild explosions of flavor from the sauce, veggies and pureed cauliflower. Also love the crispiness of the rice tuna. Ending the night with a butter cake perfectly tied the knot to a beautiful night. Couldn't stop talking about it! We had to send a compliment to the chef as they were happily singing in the open kitchen area!!

I made reservations for dinner, and I'm so glad I did because the place was packed. Clearly everyone else had the same idea we did! We started with a beer flight, which was a great choice--trying a few different beers felt like a fun little adventure. We also ordered the deviled eggs, which were delicious, and they surprised us with free chips since it was our first visit. They even gave me a card for a free appetizer next time, which was a really nice touch. Our waiter was friendly and doing his best, but he definitely had a full house. Even with how busy it was, he made sure we were taken care of. For dinner, I chose the pretzel-crusted pork schnitzel, while my companions ordered the Korean ribeye bibimbap and the BBQ bison meatloaf. The menu had so many options that I had a hard time choosing--there's truly something for everyone. My schnitzel was good, though I think mashed potatoes would have paired better than the warm potato salad for me personally. I wasn't a fan of the cider coleslaw, but the bibimbap and meatloaf were a hit since they disappeared quickly. The restaurant itself was cute and cozy, with dog photos and holiday lights adding to the charm. Overall, I'd come back and try other dishes. The food was decent, the experience was fun, and the little extras for first-time guests made it feel welcoming.

Lovely night on the patio with friends at Lazy Dog. Not only was it St Pats we did bring a friend and a dog. We had the fabulous Emma as our server tonight. She provided excellent table service and made our special green beers! She also listened well and our guest hadn't been to Lazy Dog in several years and Emma provided a complimentary card for an appetizer or dessert. way to win a customer. My fav pictured is the ahi tuna crunch. Seared perfectly and accompanied by edamame, ginger, sliced pickled cucumbers along with jasmine rice. It's so good and satisfying. We did have a couple other items, the fab korean bimbap, Tex Mex Salad and Truffle Fries. Props to great service and food.

Lazy dog has the best food!!! The restaurant is clean, friendly, and the best deals, like that $15 campfire deal. Highly recommended the Cajun fries!!

Lazy Dog always has good service and love the ambience, but some of their entrees lack flavor. I will say their deviled eggs are my favorite. They are deep fried deliciousness! We also ordered the Thai pasta , bbq bacon cheeseburger and fish and chips. I would come back again, but just for drinks and appetizers.

Not a bad place. And they're open late and have a wide ranging menu. Our server was a little confusing and kept forgetting things, but the food was good and the options were really good and they're open really late which is nice when trying to find a late night place to go to. Overall, recommended.

Is this place pet friendly? I seen people outside of the building with dogs and was just curious.

Yes, dog friendly. Dogs are allowed outside on the patio. Plenty of shade and water bowls. They also have heaters when it gets cool at night. The dogs I have seen on the patio are behaved and socialized.

Do they have happy hour specials?

The lobster bites came with a lemon wedge and their house Thousand Island sauce, and that sauce was incredible. The combination of the crispy lobster, lemon, and sauce worked perfectly together. The broccolini was also seasoned really well and paired nicely with the grilled lemon. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and it was one of the smoothest I've had. One detail I loved was that they stamped the restaurant's logo into the ice cube. Small touch, but really cool. For my main course, I ordered the Grilled Huli Huli Chicken with a crispy rice cake, pineapple, greens, and a house sauce that completely made the dish. The sweet and tangy flavor paired perfectly with the chicken. Me and my girlfriend also shared the mac and cheese, and honestly, this was one of the best mac and cheeses I've had. It was rich, creamy, well-seasoned, and the breadcrumbs on top added the perfect texture. My girlfriend ordered the braised short rib with garlic mashed potatoes and carrot purée. The short rib was so tender it practically fell apart with a fork. Everything on the plate was delicious. One thing that surprised me was the portion sizes. Everything was very filling, and we ended up taking some food home. By the time dessert came around, we were already pretty full, but there was no way we were skipping it. To finish the night, we shared the Ghirardelli triple chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and strawberries. It was the perfect way to end the meal. The restaurant was busy and lively, but it never felt crowded. The tables were spaced out really well, so my girlfriend and I could still enjoy our conversation and watch the basketball game. I also appreciated seeing Chef Q and his wife walking around and checking on guests throughout the night. They stopped by tables to see how everyone was enjoying their food, which was a really nice touch. I even had the chance to take a picture with Chef Q before we left, which was super cool. Between the food, service, atmosphere, and attention to detail, this is easily one of the top restaurants I've been to in Sacramento. Definitely worth a visit.

They market themselves as upscale southern food, not soul food, so coming here with realistic expectations is definitely important to your experience. It felt loosely southern inspired, definitely seasoned and prepared with the Roseville demographics in mind. We ordered the Caesar salad, the fried chicken, the ribeye, and a side of mac. Out of those items the ribeye was our favorite, the least favorite was the mac. I ordered a cocktail and they definitely do not skimp on the liquor. I definitely want to try more of the menu. I've heard the burger is delicious, and the brunch menu looks super appealing.

Perfectly cooked with that elusive balance of crispy edges and tender centers, with enough flavor to make them addictive without burying the sprouts themselves. We enjoyed our order aside from noticing that portions appeared to be smaller (see images of the fair oaks burger and carrot cake). During this visit we noticed that there was a discrepancy with the charges. We asked a server because our server was busy attending to other tables and we needed to pay. We were told that it had to do with an automatic "service charge" and the other was if you paid cash you get a dollar off? For example, the Lido Shuffle on the menu says $16.95 but on the receipt we were charged $17.46 and then the burger stated $12.95 but on the receipt it was $13.34. We just think that there can be better transparency as to why there is an upcharge on items. Or they can perhaps update the menu?? When we asked the server, it appeared as though she did not know truly know the answer. While we like the food here, despite the decrease in portions, it's important for customers to know what they are paying instead of being misled.
