My daughters have been here for a number of birthday parties and always have fun. It's an indoor playground/gym type of place with a small room to do food/cake/ birthday. It's not very big or overly impressive, but it definitely gets the job done and the kids enjoy! It's summer time and the Florida heat is strong...but that doesn't stop little ones from wanting to play! A Barrel O Monkeys is an excellent choice for parents whose little ones want to run wild without the heat. This indoor gym isn't too large, but it manages to squeeze in a ton of fun obstacles for the kiddos to enjoy. There's a foam square pit, plastic obstacles, mats to climb, a big slide, and even a little trampoline. All the kids seemed to be having a blast while I was there. While I do think this is a great option to meet up with friend and get some exercise, it is important to note that it's not as cleanly as some of the other gyms I've been to. There were small pieces of fluff all over, so I definitely had to keep a close eye on my little one who tries to put everything in her mouth. A lot of the obstacles have also been heavily used, so they look older and run down. Just something to keep in mind when you're scoping out the perfect place for your next adventure. We had an opportunity to visit A Barrel O Monkeys for a child's birthday party. While a bit small for a "children's gym", they certain use their space efficiently. The primary large room has a series of options for children to play, explore, jump, roll, and climb. There is a small two story playhouse and slide smartly tucked into the back room. The rear kitchen offers two long tables for party pizza and cake celebrations. My son loved the two story play house in the back, the floor trampoline, and the large foam play pit! Constructive Criticism: This location has a single restroom for all occupants, and a small sink in the dining area. With a volume of guests, the paper towels were quickly depleted. Unfortunately this left parents and children absent paper towels and napkins for various party and hygiene needs. A Barrel O Monkeys is a fantastic local business for children's after school play and celebrations. read more

My son had his second birthday party here this past weekend and it turned out to be a success. We got the basic party package and it included up to 18 kids. The place does all the work and all we needed to provide was the food, drinks, and goodie bags. It was worth it since we didn't want to have to clean up after having a birthday party for a bunch of kids. When we arrived, the staff help put all of the items in the party room for us and we did the last minute preparation of putting everything where we wanted it. Once the guests arrived, they had free play for the first 30 minutes. It was perfect for the kids to get their energy out while the parents kept an eye on them. The staff coordinates activities according to the birthday kid's age, so the bubble fest and the zip line was ideal for my son turning two. All of his other friends loved it and some wanted to get on the zip line twice. The party room was open for everyone to have food and drinks afterwards and it concluded with the birthday cake. Thank you so much for giving an amazing birthday party for my son and to everyone else that was there to celebrate! We had a lot of fun and was worth the money to see all the smiles on the kids' faces that day. The staff was excellent and super patient with the kids. We booked this place for my daughter's 2nd birthday on January 2nd. Although all the kids enjoyed themselves, $400 (without food) for a two hour party is not worth it. I was desperate because of the lack of indoor toddler-friendly play centers. They only give you 20 minutes to set up prior to the start time and then time starts ticking as the kids only get about 30-45 minutes to play. We felt rushed the entire time which was stressful and aren't birthday parties stressful enough? Anyway, they booked another event about 30 minutes out from our party so the employees were rushing to clean and get things in order for the next crew. The party room was a little cramped but efficient. I think this place would be ok if they allowed for 3 hours like most establishments. Also their equipment needs some major upgrading and the carpet should be completely replaced. read more

This was the first place I spent money on a weekday activity for my daughter when she was two. Decent place, very nice staff. Classes were decent too and my favorite part was that I could pay for ten classes and didn't need to commit weekly. I just wish they had informed me that they were giving out lollipops after the prek gymnastics class. My daughter had her first ever candy here and I have no clue what it was. I could just see from a distance that she was devouring it. lol. It was bound to happen somewhere so no hard feelings though. read more

So first off I do want to say my kids love this place hence the one star. Unfortunately both times I attended both my kids spiked high fevers afterwards. The first time we went my little one got 103.5 the next morning. So ok, maybe a coincidence I thought. The next time we went my older one spiked a 106 fever. NO LIE !! I didn't even know thermometers went that high. Needless to say the place is filled with God knows what??!! It's a germ fest in that place. So that for me as a mother reflects upon cleanliness of the facility. I go to many of these types of places and this has never happened on repeat. This was NO COINCIDENCE! I go with a group of moms and they are no longer returning either as another mom had a rash all over her sons body. The other mom had her daughter throwing up projectile for days. WTF!!! This is a honest to God review as I can provide addl info if needed. I'm also going to look into codes as this should not be happening to our children! SHAME ON YOU FOR A DIRTY FACILITY! read more

My 7 year old felt A Barrel O' Monkeys was the perfect place to have her birthday party. Honestly, I was a little hesitant, believing some of the older guests (8 and 9 year olds) might have "aged out" of this kind of location. Boy, I couldn't have been more wrong! EVERY child, aged 2 through 9, had a FANTASTIC time! What is more, many of the parents told me that when their child learnt where the party would be held, they were overjoyed and could recall the layout of the entire gym. My daughter had a remarkably memorable birthday, and I owe a big "thank you" to the owner, Amanda, who went out of her way to make everything PERFECT - from the cleanliness of the facility to the simple but generous decorations and supplies in the party room. Amanda challenged every guest to enjoy the gym thoroughly whilst providing ample smiles and encouragement. Having command of the whole facility was ideal. Finally, I will admit I am so glad we chose this location over another place. It was a perfect size with tons of well placed quality equipment; it really facilitated each child having an opportunity to try all the equipment and still spend time together. I remain very impressed with this business owner and what she's offering. To top it off, the staff was professional and lovely with parents and children alike. Felt I had to share my amazing experience at one of my kids newest favorite spots. a chance for my kids to enjoy themselves without technology or glued to a screen. we went for a friends birthday party and I must say Amanda and Alyssa made sure every child was engaged in the activities and fun games they had planned for the event from the decorations to the food and snacks all around 5 star treatment. Did not have that chuck e cheese pizza and arcade games repetitive feel instead we had a zipline,obstacle course,trampoline,ball pit playhouse with slides, a foam block pool which my twins refer to as minecraft pool FYI adults will love it just as much as the kiddies just dont try to climb the rock climbing wall LOL :) as a parent I recommend this place not only for all the awesome stuff but for that personal touch and care from the staff it felt nice to feel catered to while my kids burned off much needed sugar rush and I didn't have to worry about them hurting themselves while doing it. My 6-year-old granddaughter was visiting us in Delray. I happened to see the building when shopping across the street at Publix. Looked it up online, saw the reviews, called and talked to Amanda and was very impressed, so we went! Amanda is as wonderful as her voice suggested on the phone. Abi loved it and didn't want to leave, and now that we are home in KY she keeps asking when she can go back. It's clean, well-lighted, safety-conscious, and FUN! I will definitely bring her back here, and highly recommend to others. My husband said "It's one of those places where the minute you walk in, all your fears and concerns about leaving your child are laid to rest."
