I had the pleasure of being connected to Steven one of their superb plumbers. First off, he was the only plumber that took the time to listen to me. The issue that I called to correct was that my jet tub in the master bedroom the hot side was no longer getting hot, both sides had cold water. I explained to him that the previous owner mentioned to me that the setting for hot was set to the perfect temperature and that there had to be a way to access it to correct the issue that I was having. It should be noted I requested the same from Len the Plumber's plumber - took look under my sink because i had noticed additional pipes under my sink. Anyways Steven took the time to check and notice the mixing valve for the tub was in fact under my sink. He tinkered with it and allowed me to test the water to confirm the temperature of my choice. He fixed the issue and it didn't result in ordering parts or breaking the tile to access the tub, nor all the other things that were told to me by previous plumbers. Steven was informative - explaining and showing me the location to turn the water off to my entire house if we should ever have a leak. Also, I think he said our lives because when the previous plumber installed my hot water heater they failed to ensure the plug that controls the exhaust was pushed in tightly. It was literally hanging and Steven took the time to ensure it was pushed in correctly. I could go on - just know this company is the best and ask for Steven! read more

Amazing company! They were affordable, professional, and got everything done in one day! Patrick is one of the best plumbers I have ever seen. He took out the two failed water heaters (a gas one which was upstairs and an electric one which was downstairs) along with their respective expansion tanks. He ran 10ft of water lines tying the upstairs bathroom to the new electric water heater downstairs, so the whole house would run from it alone. The workmanship is so beautiful and artistic, that it is a shame that it gets hidden by a door, seriously! He also partnered with Mitch, a roofing guy, who took out the gas vent from the roof, patched the hole and re-shingled it that same day! I highly recommend them and their crew! This is the second time I've used the services of A Better Plumber, both being positive experiences. This time I had a new well bladder tank and hot water heater installed. Thomas actually arrived earlier than they had indicated (which was unexpected but appreciated). Thomas was very thorough and tested all new fittings and made adjustments so everything worked well. In addition, at this service call and during the previous one here, A Better Plumber cleans up afterwards. I waited a few days after installation prior to leaving this review as I wanted to insure there were not any residual issues. There were none. Everything works perfectly. I had an issue with a toilet not flushing properly...it just kept swirling but wouldn't actually flush down the pipe. Drew and Steven came out and Drew immediately saw the problem was a huge calcium buildup. He was able to break up the chunks of calcium and get the toilet back to proper functioning. Then I mentioned a couple other concerns and Drew and Steven both looked around and checked out the pipes, walls and ceilings and gave me a lot of information to help keep my plumbing in tact and not have future disasters in my home! John was about as helpful as it gets. He patiently explained the plumbing process for a basement renovation and didn't charge me for anything unnecessary. Even more helpful, he walked me though how to do several small repairs on my own. Here is the kicker and why I wrote a review. As I was making my way though the permit process for the basement renovation I mentioned above, he was always available to provide tips and guidance. Can be named a better diagnostic, they came and tell us the problem was the well pump and is going to cost arount $4000 and it wasn't. we called another company for second opinion and it was the water tank .
