    Bad pool pump water leak
    Michael A.

The best pool service company ever! Our pool service weekly has been so professional and consistently five star. They communicate and service and respond. But this weekend they went way above their normal great service. I noticed Friday morning that our pool pump was completely removed from the plumbing and water was flowing everywhere. It was like a firehose. I immediately shut the pump off at the circuit breaker and sent and email, a video and photos to A Better Pool Service and Brenda Williams sprung into action and I didn't even know it. So here is the amazing part. On Sunday morning, I went out to check to make sure the pump was still off but hoping to hear from A Better Pool Service on Monday to schedule a repair. To my utter surprise, it was fixed! No email from Brenda no calls. It was an urgent matter than she knew it. It was just repaired. This is the highest level of customer service one can ask for. Thank you again!

Did not refill any chlorine tablets! That's basic isn't it? This picture was taken the same day the technician said they did their "work"

Scam to get money out of you. They definitely put to much chemical in pool. It's always something with this company. Get a 2nd opinion

Very satisfied. Professional and easy to deal with. On time and did a good job on my repair at a fair price. Will use them again for sure.

He is responsive and even answers all of my dumb questions (I am a first-time pool owner). Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We did the "Green-to-Clean ($800)". It took SIX weeks. We had to repeatedly follow up because they would go ~2 weeks without showing up or communicating. When we asked, we were told there was an emergency situation, we tried to be understanding, but there was no proactive communication on their end. We decided weekly service ($250/month). After the initial clean, we signed up for weekly maintenance. Within 24-48 hours of each visit, chlorine levels would drop back to 0 ppm. GP&A's explanation was that our pool system was outdated and needed to be replaced. However, we had two separate pool inspections done when we purchased the home, plus 3-4 other pool companies assess the equipment, none of them flagged the system (installed in 2017) as a problem requiring replacement. Upsell attempts: GP&A quoted us a full system replacement (under $6,000) and then a filter replacement (~$2,200) before they said they could continue service. We decided to move on to another provider. End of service: We asked if they could continue maintaining the pool through the end of the month. Their last visit was six days before the final day of the month (image attached). The pool was visibly green and in poor condition by end of month (again they serviced it 6 days ago and it is this green; not adding enough chlorine). When we brought this up, they responded that the condition was "consistent with the unresolved filtration issue for which repairs were recommended", essentially placing responsibility on us for not purchasing their repair package. We were looking for a long-term, trustworthy pool service company. What we experienced was poor communication, inconsistent results, and recommendations that no other company has supported. I cannot recommend GP&A based on our experience.

The husband-and-wife team of the Pages who run Palm Oasis are as friendly as you'll ever find. While that's a good thing, and a necessary thing, it's not sufficient to make a quality pool care provider. My last provider was friendly as all get out, although he was also a total incompetent and a complete nincompoop. The Pages back up their personable nature with a true professionalism that I've not seen reflected in any of my past pool care providers. They are detail-oriented to an extreme, and prove it in their attention to my pool's walls, bottom, skimmers, returns, pumps, multi-port valve, and so forth. They care deeply about my pool and its associated equipment and head off issues before they become expensive problems. They're truly dedicated in not just what they do, but in ensuring I'm a happy customer. They communicate openly about my pool's chemistry, its surrounding environs, and equipment status. They make proactive recommendations such as sealing the coping to prevent stone dust and calcium build-up or trimming landscaping to head off undue stress on the equipment. And they do all this with an unwavering integrity. If for some bizarre reason I asked them to balance my infant daughter in one hand while performing their pool maintenance, I would have zero doubt my daughter would be returned to me alive, well, and dry. These people even pull on my trash bins from the alley after the trash has been picked up! Who the heck goes that extra distance these days? Palm Oasis does. The Page team is nothing short of amazing.
