Downright disappointing. I went in the get my cracked but usable screen repaired and it cost me $165. That wouldn't have been a problem except my phone screen completely broke less than a week after them "repairing" it. I took it back in and brought to the owners attention that I was literally just in there and I didn't do anything to the phone. I just picked it up one morning and the screen was almost completely black. His response was " my wife's notorious for this" and told me it's a result of the screen being put on too tightly. AND THEN HE TRIED TO CHARGE ME TO FIX IT! He tried to discount the price but considering my phone is worse off than before because of you, I shouldn't have to pay you anything for you to do the job correctly that you should've done in the first place. Its absolutely ridiculous and I'm pissed about it. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't have the money nor the desire to spend money on someone else's poor work. I'm owed a refund and/or a correctly installed screen and if I don't receive it then I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

My boyfriend's phone has been messing up for the past year with the charging port & we came here to see if they could fix it. The man inside took it to the back and said he had dirt stuck in the port & he fixed it for no charge. Super cool dude. 10/10 would recommend. read more

My IPhone 6s was stuck in headphones mode and was only working in speaker and Bluetooth. After much frustration with Verizon and trying all fixes on GOOGLE I stopped in and they were able to fix it in less than 5 minutes at no cost. They were helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. I had remember this place because of my teenage niece and that they has always been able to fix all her phone issues. I highly recommend this business for any and all your cellular phone problems as their truly miracle workers. read more

My phone got wet out on the boat on a Saturday afternoon. I brought it in a couple hours later, around 3 in the afternoon, and they took it back, dried it out, and returned it within 10 minutes. The best part? They didn't charge. Thanks Cellular Edge for saving my phone and my weekend! read more

Brought my laptop in for a cracked screen, got it back and it was fixed beautifully HOWEVER, my computer has been unbelievably slow since the minute I turned it back on. I can barely do anything on it anymore. I'm not sure why they needed my laptop's password just to fix the screen (If there's a legitimate reason, I honestly would like to know) but my log in screen had obviously been messed with and was very different from how I left it. I don't want to think the worst, but I really hope this isn't an example of another company taking advantage of their customers. I just don't know how else I'm supposed to think since my computer was visibly worse the second I got it back from here. read more

OK, I went in this store to have two iPhones unlocked and our telephone numbers transferred from an AT&T smartphone account to a "simple cell" account. Old account was costing us just under $200 per month with caps on everything, new account with simple cell costs $80 including taxes for both phones including unlimited everything including data. (if you use a super super high data amount, they throttle or slow down data rate like almost everyone else does) the coverage with simple cell is not quite as widespread but I'd say 95 percent as good as AT&T which is fine for us. As far as service by cellular edge, it was the most painful, frustrating, inconvenient time I've ever spent in any business in my life!! I dropped my phone off, I was told by owner jayson it would be done in one day and they would email me. They never called me, I finally went in third day and had to stand in the store for three hours to ensure they got it done. They apologized profusely. A week later I take the wife's phone in and they say ready in one day, they call next day and say its done. My wife shows up to pick it up and it's clearly not done and they tell us they will call when it's done. They don't call for three days, I finally stop by store and again have to hang out for two hours to ensure it gets done?!?!?! They are very very disorganized, unprofessional, and I would suggest you go anywhere else in town for service, anywhere. They seem to have great abilities to fix/service phones but if they are not organized it wastes customers time, patience, and money. read more

I have been calling since they opened only to have been transferred to a machine 2 times and hung up on... your customer service is horrible and will take my money elsewhere! All I needed was a simple quote on a broken ipad screen. read more

I accidentally went swimming with my iphone in my pocket and took it to another store to be fixed. They told me it was "a goner." I brought it to A Cellular Edge for a second opinion, and they were able to fix it quickly, all data intact. Though they typically allow 2-3 days for water-damaged phones, we explained that we were vacationing in the area and leaving soon, and they had it ready within a few hours. While visiting from Chicago for a few days, had an accident and my screen cracked and needed to be replaced. Took the phone in on Monday, explained that we are leaving for home Friday morning. A Cellular Edge started off with just 2 friends that had a dream of starting up a local business. They were originally a T-Mobile and SouthernLINC authorized dealer. Over the years, A Cellular Edge transformed into a one stop shop for practically all of your cellular needs. Currently they offer over 7 different cellular providers, hardware and software repairs for cell phones, tablets, laptops and game consoles. A Cellular Edge is continually growing and setting the bar high for the competition.

Meet the Business Owner: Jason M.

I'm a military brat and have moved all over with the last stop being Fort Walton Beach, FL. I've never left since! I consider myself a local now. I've lived here since 1990. Went to FWBHS, but graduated from Choctawhatchee. I married my high school sweetheart and have two beautiful little girls. I hope to one day pass this business on to my daughters who just love hanging out at work with me!

I had a very disappointing experience. Before I drove over, I called and specifically asked about…read morethe price and payment methods. I was told it would cost $199 to fix my phone and that they accepted PayPal and Zelle, so I made the trip expecting those terms. When I arrived, I was suddenly told there was an additional $50 labor fee that had never been mentioned on the phone. On top of that, I was told they couldn't accept PayPal or Zelle after all and would only take cash or a card. If I had known that beforehand, I would have come prepared or chosen a different repair shop. Because of the incorrect information I was given, I had to leave my phone overnight and make another trip the next day, which wasted my time and caused a lot of unnecessary inconvenience. Clear and honest communication is important, especially when customers are making decisions based on the information they're given. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here.

She claimed that Eric messed up her phone. He tried to explain that the part he replaced was defective. He refunded her money and offered to repair her phone again, but she continued to throw a fit and make threats. Hostile Owner - Terrible Experience - Lost Hundreds…read more On March 11, 2026, I brought three iPads to Cellular Nerds for screen replacements. When I picked them up several days later, all three appeared to have new screens. BUT wait. However, during our drive to Disney on March 13 right after pick up, two of my three children began experiencing issues with their iPads on the drive to Orlando--problems we had never encountered before. One device had a broken, sticky home button, while the other refused to stay on and charge. After returning from vacation, I contacted the owner on March 25 to discuss these newly observed issues. The owner assured me the repairs were under warranty, apologized, and promised to fix them. When I dropped off the iPads on March 25, Eric, the owner, explained that a stepson or son-in-law had assisted with repairs and made several mistakes, again offering an apology. By April 9, Eric informed us that the home button was fixed, but claimed my child intentionally broke it which is a complete false claim. I asked if he and his son moves the buttons around when he fixes the screens he admitted yes. He also said the iPad that wouldn't stay on or charge likely needed a new battery, with no mention of possible water damage after review of second drop off. Weeks went by without any update, so we reached out again on April 17th. Eric then admitted weeks later he had forgotten to order the battery. On April 24--nearly a month and a half after our initial drop-off--I called Eric for another update. He then suggested the battery was not the issue, and the problem might lie with the motherboard. At that point, he recommended we consider purchasing a new iPad. A new IPAD that had a scratched screen and worked perfectly before the handling of Cellular Nerd. During our conversation on April 24, I politely requested a refund for the iPad that remained nonfunctional after repairs, even offering to return the screen he installed. Immediately after my request, the owner responded by yelling, using profanities and obscene language, then abruptly hung up. I called back right away to express my discomfort and disappointment with their disrespectful behavior, which was entirely uncalled for and unlike anything I'd experienced before. The profanity continued and hung up again. My wife tried talking to him and the behavior continued. My wife and I were so disturbed by Eric's hostility that we called and requested assistance from the Navarre police department to retrieve our devices. My elderly mother whom later retrieved the devices was also treated with disrespect. I am sharing this account to document our unfortunate experience transparently and clearly with Cellular Nerd, supported by our receipt and documented timed date stamps. We are out 100's of dollars and an IPAD that doesn't work. My son continues to cry about it and my family continues to be shocked by the owners disgusting behavior. We regret our decision to trust Cellular Nerd and will NEVER return.

I stopped in and was informed they didn't have batteries and would have to send the computer out to a company and it would be $89 for the shipping. They said I should try Batteries and Bulbs in Ft Walton, where we were staying. If they had batteries but couldn't put them in then Best Buy could install it for $40. I called Batteries and Bulbs and they told me that they didn't have any batteries and didn't have anyone to install them. I then tried calling a Batteries Plus and the person who answered was the one I had just talked to at Batteries and Bulbs. Ironically when she answered the phone when I called Batteries and Bulbs she answered " Batteries Plus" and I asked her if this was Batteries and Bulbs and she said yes. Not sure what that was all about but this time she directed me to uBreakiFix by Asurion. When I called to inquire if the had Apple computer batteries I reached and answering machine telling me I could set up an appointment. I hung up and drove to the store. There was nobody there at the time so I was taken care of right away. This was on a Monday and they Had my computer ready by Thursday. They sell insurance plans for $29. A month and you can use it to fix any electronic in your home. With 2 Apple laptops, iPhones, iPads, tvs etc. It sounded like a good deal. $50 was knocked off the repair price and when I said I needed a new screen protector for my iPhone they tole me with purchasing the insurance I would get it free and they put it on for me. Since I was visiting from WI and never heard of the company, I was surprised to learn they were national. It's nice to know there is a reputable electronic repair store in town.

I'm not sure where the other reviews are coming from... I've used ACE for everything phone related for over four years now. They are down to earth and very sociable. From the moment you hand them your phone they give it attention. So maybe every customer waiting isn't being talked to (besides the greeting when they walk in) but i'd rather know that you are focused on my device rather than every thing going on in the lobby. Every phone I've purchased or needed work on has been done here. You have to understand that as important as "your" phone may be, they have tons of customers coming in and tons of work orders. They always tell me a day or so for the turn around time but I don't hold them to it because i know how things go. And honestly,something that takes a day may take longer if the unlock procedure has changed or if you had an update on your device that takes additional work or parts are on order. Today, cellphones are a "right now" device and people tend to get impatient without them. If you are needing a replacement phone, i guarantee you they will help you and offer great advice. If you are in the position to need work done on your device be patient, truthfully a warranty claim would take weeks!! A couple of days is a win by any stretch of the imagination. Mike Jay read more

I would definitely recommended the folks at A Cellular Edge. I have used their services three times now and each time the experience has been incredible and the pricing has been spot on. My experience last week shows the integrity of the business. My Ipad had gotten a mind of its own .... typing when my fingers were nowhere near the keyboard. I took it in to A Cellular Edge 11/12/2015, for them to look it over .... was told that technian would text me with estimate. I got a text saying that I would pick up my Ipad .... since I did not recieve an estimate I thought that it had bit the dust. Imagine my surprise when "Mari" retrieved my Ipad for me and told me there was no charge. Not being tech savy .... They could have very easily charged me!!! Service member - went in to fix an unresponsive screen on iPhone5. They gave me an accurate quote of what it could cost (if work/parts were required to fix the phone), and asked a few details about the phone including the unlock password. Something that I appreciated greatly was that they understood why I would not give it out, and would do their best to work around not having it. After 45 minutes, the tech figured out what was wrong, fixed it, and I got my phone back free of charge (since they did not have to replace any parts)! A business with EXCELLENT customer service. Came back with a different device because the work and value is unbeatable. They make you feel like you are part of a family. The Spanish girl not only is she easy on the eyes but she will always greet you with a smile. I don't get the other reviews, specially the ones about calling the store and them not answering. I was there, the place is packed (for a reason) phone is ringing and they can not stop helping a customer to answer the phone, it would be rude. Great Customer Service!! Brought my husbands cellphone in to replace broken glass on front of I-phone just before Christmas ready in half in hour cannot beat that anywhere!! Then recently my I-phone was having issues with speakers being too low they took it did adjustment while I waited and gave me new back cover on it without asking since mine was cracked and no charge!! I was very impressed with the service that I received from Cellular Edge. I went in about a month ago with a touch screen that stopped working. T-mobile was unable to get my screen to work so that I could transfer all my info to the new phone so they referred me to to these guys. They were very knowledgable and came up with a very clever plan to get the touch screen working so that I could get all the info from the old phone onto my new one. Thanks again! read more

My son's tablet stopped working and he was devastated that he could no longer play Minecraft. I asked all my friends if they knew of anyone who could take a look and a few of them recommended A Cellular Edge. I brought the tablet in on Friday 3/6/2015 at 6 PM to Jason. Called and went to store about my Samsung Galaxy S5 that would not turn on. The tech tried several quick fix options and testing. He then advised me that the best option would be to send directly to Samsung since it was a newer phone and had not been refurbished. I was prepared to spend over a hundred fixing it. I came in with a bad cellular signal so they replaced the antenna which worked for a while. When I came back with the same problem, they said my motherboard was bad which constituted a phone replacement. They refunded the entire cost of the original repair. GREAT SERVICE. read more

Dropped my brand new Note 3.. Cellular Edge had if fixed within a day while I waited and was also able to find the Otter Box for cheaper then other stores. Fast, friendly and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing service!!!! read more

I came here while on vacation with my family...we dropped my sons ipad2 with a broken screen and they had it ready in 90 minutes. This place is awesome and did a great job...plus charged half of what other places wanted for the screen replacement. read more
