We were introduced to Regina through our realtor when my parents suddenly fell ill and we had to move the stuff out of their home; they had lived there for 42 years and accumulated five bedrooms worth of furniture and just general stuff, and the task was daunting. It took me a couple of years to work up my courage to take the necessary step and hire a professional organizer/de-clutterer. I did my due diligence and settled on Regina at A Clear Path and I left the details up to her. Last Saturday she and her amazing assistant Mary "did" my kitchen. Now I won't say it wasn't painful and challenging. It was. I had to bite the bullet and let go of some stuff, stuff I have for years been keeping and hauling from house to house in expectation of some use someday. I used Clear Path a few months ago . I was desperate for spring cleaning and organization - my house was full of just "stuff". Initially, I was hesitant for a couple of reasons - high pricing and strangers in my house going through my personal belongings. Regina assured and comforted me. I'm an adult with ADHD. My husband is also an adult with ADHD. We work at home, doing miscellaneous crafts both for ourselves and for an online shop. For a while we lived alone, and that was chaotic enough, but about 6 months ago, a small fluffy white gremlin started screaming at us from a car engine and now we have a cat. Needless to say, organizing help has been something of a necessity in our lives. We started working with A Clear Path about a year and a half ago. Our first call was a desperate one, when we were living in a studio apartment and a former roommate of mine had left the place looking like a thrift store dumpster explosion. Our most recent - and by far most eventful - call was for moving assistance. All this time, we've sworn by this company, but I've always felt that you can judge a service best when something goes wrong. Well, we really had that opportunity this time, because the Powers That Be just would not let up on us - if there was an act of god that could be thrown at us, it happened. Tina did an amazing job of leading the charge to make the process...as smooth as possible. Which still felt more like it belonged on a sitcom than real life, but compared to how bad it WANTED to be, I'm not entirely convinced there are no supernatural influences in play at this company. First, I got sick days before moving. I woke up one morning, all excited to get packing - then I tried to breathe and...if breathing wasn't necessary for my survival I would call that a mistake. They picked up the slack where sickness stopped me. Next - we were moving from a 103-year old building, immediately next to a park. The place is perpetually at risk of bugs. Management really tries to stay on top of it, but if one neighbor drunkenly leaves a piece of pizza out overnight - BOOM, walls full of bugs. Unsurprisingly, they found their way into our belongings despite our attempts at avoiding this. We got guidance on how to handle the situation - most notably, we got help prioritizing what to throw out and what to clean to manage our costs...and assistance setting up an arrangement of bug bombs powerful enough to kill 90% of the problem immediately (and also set off the smoke detectors - sorry, new neighbors!). Then, several of my tools just...decided not to work where I needed them most. Didn't matter; we built a contingency plan for after I got things working AND came up with some nice temporary solutions - easy to transfer from, and easy to use in the meantime. Finally, all this happened during finals week...despite all the chaos, I still nailed the finals! So, after all this, we have a nice new home - photo-ready where it counts, and focused on function above all (but still looking pretty nice!) where we need it. In regard to Regina Lark's services via "A Clear Path", I most definitely would recommend her to anyone, especially of immediate need, like myself of clearing out and moving while pregnant, to aid in, logistically and critically, deciding to rid the unnecessary. She has an easy-to-understand and work-from book that I had read before hand that gives gentle understandings of and as to why we keep all the various possessions that we have. I, absolutely, could not have felt comfortable in doing the move until she and her amazing, professional as well as kind employees had helped me in, literally, clearing the path, so I could see what I really needed to work from there and rid myself of the trash, (thankfully with them helping to carry items, as I cannot at this time, and delivered to the Good Will). Of course, we (the owner of the items), have to make the final decision on whether to keep, donate or throw away, so with this being said, we cannot expect Regina will know the answer. She, however, will keep you moving at a fast pace and not wasting time because she really is good at what she does to help physically and psychologically, and knows your paying the big bucks for this aid.
