We've had them come out three times now to clean our 2 bedroom 1 bath home. I book with Carmen through text and two women come to clean. They're really friendly and calm, and they always say hi to my dog lol. The first cleaning was a deep clean and it was honestly cleaner after they left than when we first moved in. I also asked them to do all the blinds that time, something that normally takes me forever, and they did it so fast, and it was so clean, it was such a relief. The next two times were regular cleans before parties, and each of those took them about 3 hours. For each clean, I pay somewhat more than what a few of my friends do, but they do such a great job so I haven't minded. read more

Booked with Carmen on Friday and on Monday she sent out two nice ladies to clean my condo. They arrived on time and were there for three hours @ $80 per hour. They did an excellent job and worked very hard -- doing mostly a deep clean of the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. I don't speak spanish but their english was certainly good enough that I was able to communicate what I needed. I would recommend them to anyone needing either a deep or regular cleaning job. They are located out of Burbank but came to Pacific Palisades (which other cleaning companies wouldn't do). I really wanted to like this company. Unfortunately, it did not work out. Carmen asked me for a review after the first day... I informed her that I would review her company after she had cleaned our home a few more times. I'm always weary of a company asking for a review right off the bat. I lost my housekeeper of 12 years because she retired. It's been a long road trying to find a replacement. I scheduled a meeting with Carmen to go over what we needed. The appointment was scheduled for 8 AM, per her time request. She sent me a text at 7:50a to let me know that she was running behind and that she would be there by nine. Basically assuming that I could just wait around for her. I own a Boxing Fitness studio right down the street and needed to be there to check my 9 AM class in. I'm learning that as a business owner, when Hiring people, first impressions are everything. If a potential worker or contractor is late for first interview, meeting or estimate...just move on to the next. It seems she has deleted our email communication on yelp in an attempt to keep me from locating her company and posting my review. I would only use Carmen for cleanup of rental units, etc. Please do not use her if you need a regular housekeeper. She is training her staff as she goes along. She was also a little dishonest a couple of times. I asked her about her cleaning process. Our home is equipped with video surveillance throughout via our Amazon echo show and home security system. Clearly I asked her the questions for a reason. I saw her on video during the process... Anyway, my main concern was that she had instructed her worker how to clean the guest bathroom. Her worker utilized a Scotchgard green and yellow sponge to first clean the floor, clean the toilet, then onto the countertops. I watched her in disbelief. All the cross-contamination going on in The guest bathroom.... I was absolutely mortified when she moved from the bathroom, onto my white lacquer table...with the same Scotchgard sponge... Can you even imagine? I should have let them go at that point. I did bring this to Carmen's attention and she was very nonchalant about it, simply saying "I let her know." First, this is disgusting. Second, it's a very expensive white lacquer table that was under a minor Re polishing, as I had mentioned to Carmen (takes 12 treatments) which now has to be completely refinished thanks to very fine, Circular indentations of the Scotchgard scrubber used to clean the toilets and the floors in the guest bathroom that her worker used to clean it. Cancellations seem to be a problem with her workers because they canceled on us last minute several times. She told me it was because her workers canceled. The worker that she came with spends a lot of time in the mirror fixing her hair and primping. The result is that her hair, long and colored...is all over the place after they leave. You'll basically have to tell them exactly how to clean because they don't clean on the side of things, behind things or under things. The very basics. She did mention that she cleans the vents and everything when we first discussed however she only cleaned one vent and that was on the fourth time she came to clean our house. They don't clean inside of the oven which seems very basic to me. My oven is spotless. On occasion, it does need to be cleaned... Pots and pans aren't their thing either. I'm a very busy entrepreneur. My home stays clean for the most part. I had hired her to come twice a week and my other housekeeper was full-time and or three days a week... The cleaning is mediocre, at best. I'm sorry to say that they are a tad bit lazy. Again, I would definitely use her if you have a move out, or something like that. Professional housecleaning service. The ladies arrived promptly and thoroughly cleaned our home, including the windows. When I asked the housekeepers to empty the contents of their vacuum cleaner (waste from a previous job) before vacuuming my rugs, they complied graefully. My only complaint is that one of the cleaners chipped the knobs on my cooktop. Even with that, Carmen (the organizer) handled my concerns gracefully and we came to a mutually satisfactory resolution.
