Well, actually, I found it by a Google search when I got fed up with a computer function that had frustrated me for over a year. I knew that I didn't want to wait in line or wait days for the help I needed, and I knew I didn't want anyone to come to my home. I knew I didn't want to leave my computer anywhere--I have work to do! Night before last I found GenTech on Google. I was able to make an online appointment for the next day at a convenient time. I have nearly 40 years of technical experience behind me and am competent enough to fix most computer glitches. However, this one was beyond even my expertise and abilities, because the file system was completely corrupted. How did this happen? There are lots of bugs in Windows 11, & when I did a system recovery, Windows corrupted the file system to the point of no return. I had most of my data backed up on a separate drive, but there was one file that was absolutely vital, because it contained information that was absolutely imperative to my business, as well as my personal affairs. I immediately got on the phone and called several computer repair services, but none of them suited my timely needs; i.e., I couldn't wait a week or longer.
