I recently had them bring in my PC for a complete upgrade - motherboard, cpu, gpu and cooler. It took quite some time for them to get it back to me. When I received it, I noticed they didn't place the ram sticks in the correct slots. I also continue to have the PC shut down randomly on me so I think there is a bigger issue. My husband's laptop was not connecting to Wi-Fi but everything else was. I got several bids & was grateful to find someone to come to the house because I wasn't sure if it was a problem with the wi-fi. I couldn't get a same day appointment (but it was already 1 pm) but they could come the next day. Two people arrived promptly on time, figured out the problem with the laptop, a corrupted driver, and set to work immediately on it. My total was $140 and they were here for about an hour. Totally worth it. Very friendly. The only thing I would change is a little better communication at the outset of the problem. They started working on it and I had to ask what the problem was. Not a big deal, but would appreciate being told, "this is the problem, this is the solution & we think it will take about this long." I had plenty of time that day so it was not a bid deal but I think other customers would appreciate being kept in the loop. I ordered a new Dell desktop with Windows 11 to replace my computer which could not be upgraded to Windows 11. Geeks Mobile provided me with a price and a scheduled time to pick up both computers so as to transfer both the data and the programs from the old one to the new. Deon arrived within the pickup window, told me it would be returned in two days, and did the work and returned it according to the schedule. Deon was Professional, efficient, and very fast. The Geeks Mobile in Scottsdale was fairly priced for the work I received. I called Wednesday to get an appointment at my apartment to diagnose issues in my laptop and repair (BSOD loop, and unable to recognize SSD outside out of BIOS), which was available the next day for a flat rate ($140). Once he arrived, the issue was addressed and the likely culprit identified (bad SSD), but unfortunately unable to be diagnosed precisely. From there it was taken to the shop for final diagnoses and repair, and was then available the next day for pick up. This final work (additional $55) was neat and everything was in order. For the time the work was completed, I am very satisfied with the repair price and would recommend to others in the Tempe/Scottsdale AZ region. read more

AMAZING!!! I rarely right reviews but I have to tell you what a great service this is to have. Put them in your phone now! I had a 3 year old dell laptop that I loved. I dropped it. Dion and Zac came out to my office and replaced the glass. It worked ok for a couple days then the hard drive crashed (late symptom from the previous drop incident). I called them back I said it isn't working I don't know why.. so they picked it up the next day along with the new laptop I just bought figuring this laptop was going to die. It is NERVE racking giving passwords and pins to computers and backup files. They figured out the old dell laptop was completely unable to be repaired as the hard drive was not even recognized by the cpu. So they couldn't move files .. oh well.. Zac called me broke the news then Zac started trying to help me figure out where I had data. I was able to get into Carbonite where I keep a mirror image of my computer (highly recommend Carbonite) Zac spent 3 days finding and putting data back into the new dell. They are so kind! And professional! I am a Nurse Practitioner I was seeing patients at a facility when my computer was done so they called and drove it to my office and dropped it off for me. Then they only charged me a total of $350 for all of that computer data restoration.. I can't thank them enough it's amazing that I found such honorable professionals that really took time to help me. I could not have did this without their expert help. I work 80+ hours a week so I need a laptop but I wouldn't have ever spent the time to do this data transfer and to set it up with automatic backups like my friends Zac and Dion. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I reached out to these guys a few days ago, saying that I have a key on my keyboard that's not seated properly. They asked for the ST number which I provided them in a screenshot. They then responded and said it's gonna take four days or so to order the right keyboard. We scheduled for Monday for one of their trucks to come out and replace the keyboard. Their tech showed up yesterday and right away I knew something was off. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. It took him quite a while to tear my whole laptop apart and then mumbled something about having the wrong keyboard. When I questioned him, he seem to be taken aback by that. I continue to question him as this is a work computer trying to get some feedback from this guy who wasn't saying much. He then said he needed to take it to the shop which I really wasn't happy about. At one point he said well I can just put it back the way it was and I said yes please and it took him another 30 to 45 minutes to put it back together, only to realize that it wouldn't turn on. I told him to then take it back to the shop. This was at 4:30 PM yesterday. I told him I was going to give him grace since working in my living room is probably not ideal and having me hover over him is probably not ideal either as long as he kept me up-to-date on the status. By 8 o'clock this morning I had heard nothing from them and I had to reach out to find out what the heck was going on. I got a response back saying they'll drop my computer off at 10:45 AM so I've been sitting here all morning, with no computer, the guy couldn't leave fast enough after he dropped off my computer, and after he left, I realized I took the USB plug that controls my mouse!!! I honestly don't know how they have received the stars they have. I will give -5 stars if I could. No apologies nothing but a waste of my time. Edited to add the owners accusations are completely false. He was not there at my house and is taking the word of his technician. He did not offer the bring back my computer last night. Geeks mobile was initially very responsive and accommodating. I needed to have the lithium batteries replaced which required removing the computer screen. Shortly after the repair, the screen suddenly became detached. I called them back and they said' this has never happened before', and tried to blame me for something I did. Eventually they picked it up and 'fixed' it and returned it .Within hours same problem. I decided to fix it myself at that point. Conclusion--maybe they use cheap replacement parts and materials, or don't do enough repairs to be familiar with how to do this repair. read more
