They did everything I expected them to do in a timely and professional manner. They cleaned up after themselves daily, and kept the disruption while working inside the house to a minimum. David was very responsive to my scheduling needs, and a pleasure to work with. Each day, the guys showed up exactly when he said they would, and they finished the job as quickly as possible, working weekends and holidays in order to do so. David's prices were competitive, and he didn't ask me for a cent until the job was completed. I'm happy that I gave this young, local entrepreneur my business, and would recommend.

After several calls to masons and contractors in the area, no one wanted to do the job or even stop to look...even folks that have done work here in the past. I called David, he stopped over an hour later, devised a plan and emailed a price. The whole job was done in two days including masonry work, repairing / reinstalling the huge door frame and reassembling/hanging the garage door which I had dismantled and removed including some of the hardware. He was able to keep the door frame intact - and did a nice wood repair and bondo job to get rid of the rot. Year after year, I am so disappointed with the quality of workmanship and lack of pride in most contractors- plus the outrageous Westfield markup. I would have had to hire 3 different guys to get this job completed and would have taken months. When David stopped over for payment, I said it's been decades since handing someone a check was a pleasure...and a nice change of pace to not have the "upcharge and extras" routine. Everything was handled so well - even the cleanup. Including a few before and after photos - oh, they also painted the door and frame so it looked perfect...

Morris Renovations kept blaming the delay on the factory and on covid. I find it very hard to believe because this was late 2021, the first half of 2022 when covid wasn't that big of a deal anymore. Also, I picked Marvin windows which are made in the US using Canadian lumber. Regardless, during those 8 months, it was incredibly tough to get in touch with anyone from Marvin who could provide me an update. My "project manager" Roman was nowhere to be found and would not return my calls. The guy who answers the phone just said he didn't know anything. For "security reasons" he would not provide me a direct number for Roman so I basically had no way to reach my supposed "project manager". You can't just take a 7K deposit and go MIA. Anyway, I was just about to lose all hope, when, miraculously, after 8 months, my windows were finally ready. On the day of installation, however, it turned out that one of my windows had been "misplaced" and no one could tell me where it was or when I could get it. 2 weeks later, they "found" my window. We set up a new install date, only to get it rescheduled with less than 24h notice. I didn't even get an apology. I'm still waiting on that missing window.... Now, as to the installation itself, it was far from top-notch workmanship. I had to go around and ask the guys to add more insulation foam in spots they had missed. They scratched and damaged the new windows in a couple of places, and they broke the molding on the interior so now I have to get that replaced too. Their caulking looks like a 2-year-old did it. To top it all off, they almost yelled at me for picking a big bow window with fixed panes because it is harder to install without specialized equipment that Morris does not have.All in all, my experience with Morris Renovations was extremely disappointing. After spending the equivalent of a new car, I was expecting to at least get quality to match the price. Sadly, all Morris has to offer is good salespeople. Once you've signed on the dotted line, you will get nothing but frustration and disappointment. Learn from my mistake and find a better contractor. UPDATE: I finally got my missing window. After reading my original review, the guys really tried their very best this time. Their best is just not good enough, unfortunately. They didn't use house wrap to prevent water intrusion. They didn't shim any of my windows. They somehow managed to over-tighten some screws and had nails popping out on the finished side of a 10K bow window. Not to mention all the scratches and dents they managed to put in. Their caulking is still deplorable. And they should not be allowed to touch moulding or any finished carpentry. I am mostly mad at myself because instead of going with the contractors I know, I decided to spend a little more for "professional window installers" thinking they would actually know what they are doing. I know how hard it is to find good contractors. I really hope this review helps prevent people from doing the same mistakes I did.

Sliding door installation…read more rough opening was not measured correctly. it was at least 3 inches too narrow and 3 inches too short. to take up space on the top, they broke apart the old door and stuffed it in the gap at the top, the sides where filled (mostly) with foam. It fit so poorly, they took longer screws from the old door. no felt or barrier on the sill. good job on the metal work around the window. I guess they have to be good to hide the terrible craftsmanship. Calls to the sales person go unanswered.

This time, we are greatly disappointed; they did nothing with the gutters, leaving nails popping out, but told me I had a problem with part of the roof, but no definitive scope of work. Then someone claimed to be a representative called to talk about "roof work", including replacing all of my skylights. When asking for an estimate, it was refused and the person just kept reiterating the same phrase, "you have an expensive home". That didn't sit well, so I chose to end the conversation and definitely end the relationship. SAD!
