Oftentimes seen at Acropolis, Sonoma Grill, and Malone's (but not exclusively). We went to the Festivus Party / Seinfeld trivia night at the Pan American in the Lafayette on December 23rd. Customer service: no phone number, although usually pretty responsive through email. They definitely had a seating and sound problem, having been completely unprepared for the number of people that signed up. I don't understand why they didn't just cap the number of people who entered instead of making it a worse experience for everyone attending. Questions: some were great, some were - I think - waaaay too hard and specific. It's fun to have hard questions, but when the first place team (out of 70+) gets 1/3 wrong, it's probably too hard. Just an opinion though, did not factor into my review score. Price: we had the biggest beef with this: $15 PER PERSON (not 4 person team) to us was super hefty- they brought in over $4,000 that night (which did not include anything but participation) and only handed out $350-$400 in prizes. The restaurant provided a limited but full price menu and certainly brought in money itself. This is a little weird to me. Where did the rest of that money go? At least throw in bar specials or something. That's a ton of pocketed cash and makes me feel like I got ripped off. I know they likely had to pay licensing fees and the like, but $60 a team just seems like too much and is the main reason we likely won't attend another Trivia, AD event. Program: They had comedians fill in gaps in the evening. The opening act was terrible and extremely "blue." Clearly the crowd liked Seinfeld, so why bring in someone who makes cancer jokes? Not only did the crowd ignore both comedians, but the first one was boo'ed an awful lot, too. If you really like Trivia, this might be worth it to you. It's a relatively new company so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with an "A-OK" rating.

She shows me quantity mocking me, "this is what is used and the amount of quantity I'm not gonna do this again so I'm showing you" I still say thank you When she comes back with the new drink, i was about to take it and then go back to our seat where my husband is and get money to pay her, returning her my old drink, she goes "nah I'm not giving it to you until you pay it" since I'm tipsy I say please keep my drink too I'll give you the money, while I'm giving her back the drink she doesn't hold the glass and it tips off and falls and she makes a nasty face I say sorry and proceed to get the money from my husband. By then husband saw me at the waiting at the bar too long and was heading towards me to help me out. When he comes I tell him to give me money and he gives it to me, again at the bar we're trying to catch her attention, she comes back are you paying for the drink? I say yes with the 20$ in my hand reaching out to give it to her, and asked the drink you spilled I already paid for that, are you gonna give me that back? She proceeds to not give the new drink I say can I have my drink back, she screams I'm not serving you lady, get off! I was still calm and didn't say anything cuz I was tipsy, my husband right next to me while this happened. (He was confused as he didn't know what happened in the first half of the conversation as he wasn't there) We were absolutely shocked and ended up leaving, I ended up crying the whole night. Waited for the alcohol to wear off to understand what I've truly been through. Saw the timings of the bar so we could go and talk to the manager/owner about it, I called the number present in google, waited for someone to pick up, the cleaner picked up after I called multiple times, it opens at 3pm on Sunday we would've left Buffalo by then to start for home, so we went at 1pm to see if anyone was there, same cleaner. Left him our numbers, he said he will let his manager know but didn't help (as apparently he didn't know anything else, didn't even know the name of the tall female bartender, who was so ugly to me) Since then I've emailed, called, there has been no response. I'd not have posted this had there been any response since then. I've been affected by this humiliation horribly, my mental health got messed up cuz I'm still questioning as to how can someone behave like this with me, what did I do wrong, because surely the color of my skin cannot be the only reason you hate me, we were celebrating 6 months of our marriage, seeing Niagara Falls was so immensely beautiful, but this experience changed my whole perspective about human behavior, all I can say is Please donot spend your hard earned money there that is my only request. It was just me dining, so this was perfect. I am no wing connoisseur, but I thought the buffalo wings had a good bite, and they were not too wet and not too dry. I drenched them in the blue dressing that came with them and was satisfied. The Beef on Weck was the highlight of the meal. The roast beef was tender, and it came with au jus for dipping. The horseradish was obviously a must. But what made the sandwich special was the way that the bun was prepared. It is formally called a "kummelweck" roll. It was a little overly salty, very coarse salt. But I think that is intended. The bun also has caraway seeds on it. The sandwich was juicy and so good. It's different, but I get it, and if I happened to live in the Buffalo area I think I would eat these semi-regularly. My waitress told me that when she went to college she used to stop in at Cole's and get the Buffalo Combo for lunch in between classes. So this is what the locals do!

We didn't have to drive far to find parking but it might be a longer hike on busier nights. The establishment is bigger than the Merry Shelley and Revolution Gallery (the three have a lot of joint events complete with shuttle service, but we haven't been to one). Plenty of space and seats. My husband tried their in house mango BBQ sauce, but it packed too much of a punch so he went with a burger he really enjoyed. They have a full bar. Our cocktails were great. Service is friendly.
