The name PRESTIGE says a lot about their character and they are located in Granada Hills. After asking around and doing a Google and Yelp search, I kind of gave up hope. Never give up hope. A lot of the places were located all the way in the boonies and were very far from where I live. Couldn't drive all the way to those far places with my old car. I was talking to a friend of mine about this issue, and she referred me to this place and told me that they do a great job. So I took her word for it and made a phone call last week and talked to a guy by the name of Robert. I don't know if he is the owner or one of their employees. We made an appointment and they came and picked up my stuff within 2 days after my phone call. That's some fast and quick service. I gathered all my stuff together, and some things had never even been used. Maybe once or twice. Sitting there, collecting dust. I had an old Boom Box and its remote control, two small Sony speakers, an old JVC VHS player that came with its own remote control and also had a cassette player. An electric pencil sharpener, and an old printer, that was no longer working properly. One of the things that I liked about Robert was that he was very patient, kind, and explained to me all the details step by step, one by one. They also pick up recycled bottles, cans, cartons, & paper. I had a whole bag of it. Of course, our apartment building has a large dumpster for us to recycle. I am all about keeping the environment clean. They were very professional and one of the guys accidentally dropped few of the pieces on my carpet and apologized right away. Every item has it's own price. For all that, they gave me $115.00 that also included 10% of the space that your belongings take in their truck. Two guys came, I think one's name was Nelson, and can't remember the other guy's name. Even their big, long truck was clean and arrived on time. Exactly at 11am. They accept credit cards and cash. Also gave me a receipt. They accept the following items, which are: electronic devices, furniture, waste, home appliances, houseware stuff (mattress), garbage, along with landscaping/for landfill. The rest I have already mentioned in my review. I mean those guys do it all and were super careful not to damage any part of your property. Inside or outside of the building. Al was very personable and explained to me exactly how he would be removing the Jacuzzi. His pricing was very reasonable and he was able to do the job right away so I scheduled with him. Two days later, in 90F+ weather, Al and Michael came out, dismantled and cut the jacuzzi and hauled it away. They were prompt, professional and easy to work with. Both were friendly and easy going.
