They have private rooms for guests, and the brides get their own dressing area with a mirror and stand so you can see the dress on yourself before coming out -such a thoughtful setup. Everything is off the rack, and there's a really nice variety of styles and sizes (and nothing goes over $1000!). My sister found her perfect dress and a veil here, which was such a win. Heather helped us and she was absolutely amazing- so warm, patient, and genuinely excited for us. At one point she literally ran to grab a dress we had talked about earlier just so my sister could try it on! You can tell she really cares about her brides. The shop itself is in a cute old church, which gives it such a cozy, charming vibe (though I heard they may be moving to a warehouse soon...I'll be a little sad if they do!). They also let us mark several dresses with tags to try on. I think we got through 6-8 total. We didn't buy the dress that day because we had another appointment elsewhere, but my sister couldn't stop thinking about it. When she emailed Heather around 11pm the next night, Heather replied within 15 minutes and said she'd pull it from the floor for her to pick up. That kind of service is so rare. All in all, I'd 100% recommend doing your dress shopping here over any department store. It's personal, fun, and honestly just a great experience all around.

I was told the most would be $400 for alterations; I switched my dress choice, which they did with no problem (mind you my dress had never left their building), and the comment at that time was "Good thing you changed because this dress is much cheaper to alter." So I'm thinking $300 max. Got a text that it was $591 plus tax weeks later. Right before this, had a very negative experience where I was balling during my fitting & the owner who was doing my fitting didn't even know I was crying as a response to her rude & insensitive behavior. At this fitting was the perfect time for her to tell me my choices would incur a much bigger cost where I could say I do not want it altered by her. Once alterations were complete, I tried it on; I hated the way it fit and pointed out it's too long and straps are way too tight and short, so much so they would not stay on my shoulders. Their response was to shorten the straps which I knew made no sense & pretty passive aggressive comments about how dresses & straps are altered. I knew I couldn't take the dress w/out paying & felt completely unheard & beside myself, so I took the dress & paid, not knowing what to do, weeks away from my wedding. Composed myself, cried a lot & met with a seamstress for multiple fitting. Learned the bustle does not stay up (just completely falls w/movement), bustle is completely messed up looking on the front sides, extra length was left on the sides to attempt to cover the horrible look of it, outside layer is around 3 inches too long, inside layer is about 2 inches too long, side where dress was taken in CAME APART, straps were so short the sides had to be cut down from my arm pit to make it fit, breast boning needed altered because anyone standing near me could see my boobs due to the huge space that was present, one of the straps was MANGLED & smaller than the other one which we did not even attempt to make the same for fear the strap would break. The initial concerns mainly were how would the breast part fit & how would I wear the dress w/ all the sparkles poking me in the armpit; I was assured the boning gets fitted & the gems get removed during alterations which is why I ultimately asked to switch to this dress from my original pick: the new seamstress had to also complete this. After a new seamstress was completely revamping my dress, I brought my issues to the manager about how experience w/ not only the dress alterations, but the price inconsistency & the behavior of the owner, & was responded to seemingly politely but stating "wedding nerves get the best of us!" Nerves have nothing to do w/ a destroyed dress, lack of customer service & unkind behavior from the owner. She gave the owner my complaint in which her response was a terrible apology w/ no offer to reconcile the cost I was out & the time and energy spent getting this fixed. Her response was a defense, pointing out everything she did for me & the policies she changed to help me (allowing me to change my dress which certainly put her out none & she agreed to w/ no hesitation & allowing me to extend my payment in which I did not ask for; this was done so I did not come in twice & paid when I came in for my fitting that was available.) ... among other things she pointed out she did for me. I would never have come on here & complained had she made it right. I live right up the road & really wanted to be able to give her a great review & support local business. I would regret not letting the public know not to get their dress altered here because maybe I am saving a bride from having this horrible experience right before their wedding. If you cannot complete a service as a business owner, please tell your customer so they are informed & can go elsewhere. If you are changing the price of what you quoted, tell your customer. If someone is choosing you, honor their business. If you don't know how to alter, send to someone who does.
