I placed an order through Teleflora to be delivered 2/19 and paid a delivery fee and a tip. They selected A Delicate Petal. The flowers ordered were called Teleflora's Perfect Peonies (the photo was of pink peonies). You would think the flowers which were delivered a day late would have been peonies. NOPE not a one - the flowers delivered were orange roses. I understand substituting flowers when necessary. I thought the would substitute a different color peony. If they were not going to deliver peonies for an order of Perfect Peonies they should've called to ask what I wanted instead. read more

Purchased an arrangement for a friends birthday. Nearly $80 which is average, but what I ordered WAS NOT what showed up at her doorstep. The arrangement I ordered showed on the website a full arrangement of flowers, a beautiful vase, and a bow. What showed up was a few flowers in an ugly vase with a sloppy bow around it. I reached out to the owner, got one response requesting more information on the order and then nothing after that. Disappointed. Buyer beware. read more

I received a very lovely Bouquet from my MIL yesterday delivered to my home from A Delicate Petal. I'm lucky enough to have flowers sent a few times a year and this bouquet stood out. Sizable, very healthy vibrant blooms. Sometimes florists cheap out on orders phoned in from out of state. Not this time. I ordered a beautiful arrangement from the online choices. The delivered product was a pathetic, poorly attempted imitation of that arrangement. The flowers used were correct, but the arrangement greenery & unique design was fully missing & the delivered arrangement looked like a basic cooler arrangement from Kroger at 1/4th the cost. My son in Seattle ordered flowers for me for Mother's Day. I have no idea what he paid but the product and service were tip-top! They were delivered on Saturday and, since the delivery person couldn't get in through the gate, he left them with the front office people who promptly notified me. The flowers were VERY fresh and lasted a full week. I never had flowers last this long! read more

I had used this service a few times to have flowers delivered in Deland Florida without any problems. The last time the florist in Florida that they use didn't deliver the flowers but said they did ( At least this is what A Delicate Petal told me). After going around and around with A Delicate Petal, not having phone calls returned, being told "The manager is out" A Delicate Petal told me I was going to have to call the florist in Florida to sort it out. I gave A Delicate Pedal the money, their vendor screws up, and I have to contact them to fix it. Do yourself a favor, if you need to have flowers delivered out of town call a local florist to that town. I'm out the money and A Delicate Petal didn't deliver. read more

My friends brought me an arrangement as a surprise after a surgery I had. I could tell by their discussion how disappointed they were with it, especially the vase, as it was not the one pictured on the shop's website. I also became disillusioned when not a single bud of any of the flowers in the arrangement opened. I decided to contact the shop and received an automated response that "an administrator would review my submission shortly". I guess no response means a customer's dissatisfaction is not response worthy. I reached out again indicating I would prefer a conversation before leaving a review but again, no response. Customer satisfaction, repeat business and negative reviews are obviously of no concern to A Delicate Petal. read more

The biggest disappointment. Ordered flowers for my Uncle's funeral at Carmichaels using an online flower company called "send flowers.com". The subbed my order to A Delicate Petal by Melissa. The arrangement cost $139 and was supposed to be a patriotic spray. What got delivered was so disappointing. This florist exchanged the white lilies for half dead white roses. The snap dragons were wilting so much that they had turned brown. This is something you typically see after 3-4 days....not a few hours. They obviously used old flowers on my Uncle's arrangement and I feel totally ripped off. I will never use this florist nor would I recommend them. read more
