This company -- and its owner -- have been an extreme disappointment, especially during a time of grief and mourning. My best friend lost two of the most important people in her life in the same week. She is in Georgia; I am in California. I tried to send her flowers simply to bring her a small moment of comfort. Instead, this experience turned into a nightmare. My order was canceled under the excuse that they were closed for the day and the Thanksgiving weekend -- despite their website clearly stating they were open and accepting orders. I was told the same day that I had been refunded. That refund never happened. Instead, I continued to be charged by a third-party processor on their behalf, while the company repeatedly insisted there was "no charge." At different points, I was told: * the order was canceled and refunded, * the flowers were delivered (they were not), * and finally, that there was no record of the transaction at all. Each call resulted in a different story. When I asked for written confirmation of the cancellation or refund, the owner, Mike, hung up on me. Their systems are archaic, their record-keeping is nonexistent, and their ethics are deeply questionable. In moments when compassion and professionalism matter most, this company showed neither. I would not recommend this florist. I ordered a "Pop of Spring Bouquet - Premium" for a funeral that was held in the building next door to the florist. The cost was $131.55, including a $12.95 delivery fee! Next door! The arrangement was very small and thin, nothing like the "Premium" arrangement shown on their website. I was referred to Mike Whittle Designs by the funeral home. While the woman I spoke to was very nice and helpful, I'm disappointed with the service in the end. I explained that I wanted something sent to the funeral home and that I was not particular about what flowers would be sent, but that I wanted it to be at the $60 price point. She said they would deliver a green plant. It was delivered and was a fine plant (an average peace lily - unfortunately one of four there), but when I saw the charge on my credit card, it was for $80. I have done this same routine multiple times for funerals, but with other florists based on the funeral location and all other florists have delivered flowers for the agreed upon $60 price. read more

I needed to quickly send flowers to a funeral home in Marietta. Typically I use Carither's for all of my flower orders. I should have never trusted a different florist. The flowers sent to my Uncle's service today were easily the worst flower arrangement I have ever seen. I was mortified by these flowers. White spindles of Carnations, and two fern leaves. It looked awful. Nothing like the photo I based my purchase upon. No Lilies, no Snapdragons, no Eucalyptus, it was just old looking carnations and two fern leaves. I ordered these through The Tribute Store link from the funeral home's page. Huge mistake. Whittle Designs is the florist that sent this deplorable arrangement. Don't order from them, go to Carither's Floral instead. They would never send a cheap looking mess like Whittle Designs did. I have included a picture of this disaster. Total cost: $148.32. It has maybe $5.00 worth of Carnations. I included the picture I was provided for what I thought was being sent. There was a disclaimer stating if some of the flowers weren't available, they would substitute for flowers of "equal or higher value." Not even close. Weeds would have looked better. At 4pm on a Friday driving from North Carolina to Georgia to my Grandmother's funeral we realized we forgot to order flowers. We had the phone number already from the funeral home but with all the other items that needed to be taken care of ordering the flowers fell off the radar. I called the florist directly & the woman who answered was so helpful in making sure we got the flowers our Grandmother would be proud to have at her funeral. She didn't make an issue that we called at 4pm for a 10am funeral. When we arrived at the funeral home the flowers were there & were perfect! It was such a relief. Never has a blessing moment been such a disappointment! Our daughter give birth to our grandson on Friday, we ordered (at 2:01 pm same day) the flowers for delivery pictured below! These are the flowers we received! Now, after speaking to Karen, explains to her that we wanted the medium floral arrangement. Asking her what was the difference between the 3 prices, she stated the number of roses. We went on to say, we did not want a bunch of filled flowers in place of the roses! Karen confirmed she understood and prepared our order! Saturday (11:51 am), we called to finalize the order, for delivery, only to find out it had been deleted due to the order over 24 hours. Though very disappointed, we placed the same order with a gentleman (Karen was not there). EXPLAING to him are prior request regarding the roses and filler flowers, he said he understood. Obvious, something got lost in translation, because our request was not honored!! Being Conv-19, closing early, and Memorial Day weekend, we had no recourse but to present this mess to our daughter and grandson!! Looks nothing like the picture on their website, very disappointing! This florist deserves all the stars, not only for saving my weddIng in a pinch but doing so with stellar customer service. Quick back story I am a cheapskate coupled with having lazy bride syndrome, so I bought an artificial bouquet on amazon. My thoughts: one day, throw away. While it was by no means horrible once I started to ready for the ceremony the day of this artificial bouquet somehow began to look more and more out of place. Que my dearest friend in the world and impromptu maid of honor. She sourced and hastily rushed over to K.Mike Whittles mere hours before the ceremony. As the photos will reflect the bouquet created was nothing short of extraordinary and breathtaking both in quality and design. A thousand Thank You's to Mike and Kate for litterally saving my look. Just received a gorgeous flower arrangement by Mike Whittle Designs. Beautiful array of flowers and colors. I would recommend this florist!

This florist is fabulous! We have used them many times and everything has been fresh and beautiful. They created the flowers for my reception and my dad's funeral. They went above and beyond on my dad's funeral flowers, adding fire fighting items to the arrangement because he was a retired Cobb County fireman. They were absolutely stunning! My husband has purchased me flowers from them many times and my mother-in-law always uses them as well. A good florist is hard to find and this one has been fabulous on a consistent basis for many years. I would highly recommend them! read more

In the end, it was a very interesting experience and It made me feel stressed, frustrated, and voiceless. Let's recap: I ordered flowers on the 26th of October and planned to have them delivered on the 27th of October. The flower order was for my awesome friend for her 25th birthday. However, the order got canceled because of the language in the message, "your message represents us". Call 1 - The person I spoke to said I couldn't put a new order in over the phone. Call 2 - So when I went online to put in another order, I called and asked if it could be delivered the same day and they said yes. Call 3 - When I called back, and asked for more clarification on the language. I was told, "you don't know"...well, "we cannot process this order". Then was hung up on. I didn't have time to find a new florist. I was calling from the West Coast and I was just frustrated that things didn't work out with this florist. So ducking upset by the way I was treated! It was words to my friend not to the company! Now, my friend got less then I wanted for her!! This company does not give a rats ass who they hurt. Maybe just added a line that says, "we very sorry but we cannot print bad language". And just give a few examples. Wish you all the ducking best!! read more

I ordered flowers from K. Mike Whittle florist on Saturday for a very dear friend's visitation and funeral and the flower arrangement was exquisite. I had asked about calla lillies and roses and the consultant on the phone told me that hydrangeas and callas were so pretty together and described the arrangement that he thought would be best. When I saw my flowers, I was blown away. They were GORGEOUS!! In fact, I had already been told by others who saw the arrangement first how beautiful they were. Would definitely recommend!! read more

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my wedding bouquet and color of my fiancées boutonnière. I asked for an ivory boutonnière, I got a blush one instead. I had found a beautiful bouquet, showed him the pic and he said he could do one just like it. I based things on the ivory roses that were supposed to be in my bouquet. I created a Yelp just so I could review this company. My mother called yesterday (after several other florists told her no) to see if they could make a corsage for my two year old daughter's first daddy-daughter dance. She told them money wasn't an issue and to make it beautiful. I thought for sure they were going to charge a crazy amount just because she told them that but they were actually VERY affordable. & the quality? Amazing!! My daughter was OBSESSED with her flowers...Mike even put it on a slap bracelet so it was easier for her to wear comfortably. She definitely felt like a princess on her special night & loved showing off her pretty pink flowers. & They held up extremely well for being on a two year old dancing for several hours - completely intact!
