It took 6 hours to groom our dog when we were told it would take 3 to 4. I had to rush them to get her out, they wanted me to bring her back in the next day. When I couldn't they double teamed her, she stood tied on the table for over 45 minutes with no one working on her. They said they had to give her two baths she was so dirty. It is hard for me to believe because she is a house dog and only goes out to the bathroom or walks with us. I feel they forgot her! When we got their sUrey and I told them about it their reply was "we can't make everyone happy!" Our dog will never go back there and be put through that! read more

Clearly the owner amber doesn't know what she is doing. She is scattered brain and can't communicate properly. They do NOT give you a starting price over the phone or a price of what it will be after looking at OUR puppy. I showed her a picture and doesnt even care to look at it and says ya ya ummm ya ya. Speak English please. She did exactly what I told her not to, which was shaved all over with a narrow face. I did specify i wanted his face round like every Westie. Her response was "ya ya mmm." I had a family member go pick him up for me and got charged $55 with all these adds on. They were not mention at the time I called for the appointment or in the initial consultation. My mom sent me a picture of him and it was not what I was expecting. I called to ask about the hair cut and her respond was "excuse I have done many westies and I don't need you to come back to my shop." She ended up not letting talk and hung up in my face. The amount of clients that told me to go here is a shame. I had high hopes for this place. Amber is just rude and doesn't know how to talk to customers, unfortunately everything is an add on. This haircut is not worth $55. read more

I absolutely love them! My husky has really bad anxiety at groomers to where I have to drag her in. I take my husky and lab every month and now I don't have to drag her in! She comes out happy and clean. Usually groomers have an issue cutting my husky's nails (I'm telling you she HATES being groomed) and they're able to get the job done. They also work with my work schedule a lot. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I travel full time in our RV with our two toy poodles. Grooming seems to be sort of hit or miss, though I do try to read reviews. When I called A Dog Gone Good Grooming I left a message and it was returned pretty quickly (I know they are grooming dogs so don't expect someone to answer). Their appointments were booked out about a week which I thought was great and fit with our schedule. We dropped the dogs off at the day/time scheduled and we were greeted promptly and asked about how we wanted them trimmed/cut. We let them know how we wanted it and were advised an approximate pick up time. When we picked them up they were happy and looked great. The haircuts they got were exactly as we requested and the dogs look great. I highly recommend A Dog Gone Good Grooming! Been brining my dog here since I've moved to Yuma a year ago she does a really good job and is good with timid dog.

When I started going with my dogs to dog gone grooming things were done right, as time went on my wife and I started to see things drop off upon checking our dogs out. We have had to bring up these issues on each upcoming visit in order to get the issues handled. This had been going on for a year now only to be met with excuses. Today it took 5 hours for what normally takes 3 to 31/2 hours to get our dogs done. I was told by Amber it was because of walk in nail , etc business leaving me wondering what attention is being taken away from our pets. Are they being left on table held by a harness while tending to walk ins? I just don't know. Upon addressing with Amber's husband he gave me other excuses other than what Amber previously told me. I kinda pressed the husband on these issues where he replys there are other groomers I can go to which was my intention before he made that statement. Overview, Inconsistent grooming habits, unattended pets while walk ins arrive and lengthy wait times than normal with no apologies to be made for it. And a husband who is less than professional when they are wrong. I will look elsewhere for groomers who care about our pets and not just in it for the money. Took my grandfather's two dogs over there and they did a fantastic job on them I love how friendly the people are and how organized they are and if something goes wrong they let you know before doing anything in case it costs extra like for example his dogs had ticks and they had some kind of medicine or shampoo it did cost a couple dollars extra but was so worth it the dogs loved the people there and they are hard dogs to please I will continue to bring grandpas dogs there they have a customer for life read more

My puppy has terrible allergies which make his fur and skin smell bad, and feel stiff and greasy. However when I take him here he comes out looking like nothing is wrong with him at all. They do a really good job and trimming nails, trimming hair and washing my dog. Better than any other place I've been at in town. My dog has also a lot of energy and is super strong but the groomers are able to control him and get the job done. Also a reasonable and not expensive price, usually around 40ish compared to the 60-70 in my previous places. I like that I can call and they fit him in the same day, and call him baby. :) read more

Amazing service! The lady working was so sweet & did an awesome job! I dropped my dog off & went home & she called me telling me my dog had ticks on him so she's gonna use a special shampoo for him but it's gonna be a few extra dollars (which was totally fine & wasn't that much more) I loved that she called just to let me know the situation. Took my two poodle mixes here and I was worried about my puppy because i've had other places shave them without asking. But here they did exactly what the said they would and my dogs came out looking brand new and gorgeous. They took very good care of my dogs and I will be using them as my grooming spot from now on. She did a great job on my baby girl. She is a toy poodle although we do not like poodle cuts on her. The groomer did a great job and her bows stayed in her ears for weeks until I cut them out. She looked so darn cute and the best part was when I picked her up she wasn't shaking and freaking out to leave the building. She is not a fan of some bigger grooming salons in the area. Called up and made an appointment for 1:30pm. Brought my dog into A Dog Gone Good Grooming and was told that she would be ready by 4 PM. I watched her put my dog into a cage immediately, and I stupidly assumed that she would only be in the cage for maybe 15 or 20 minutes before she would be have her bath, hair cut and nails clipped. 4PM rolls around and I still haven't received a call to pick up my dog so I drive down there and find out that she isn't done yet and that she'll need till 5PM. at this point it was already 4:30. I tell her that its alright, I'll just pay for whatever and take my dog as she is. Turns out this business had left my poor dog in the cage for 3 hours with no water and hadn't even begun to give her any of the services that I had asked for. I can't understand why they would accept your pet and let them sit in a cage for 3 hours instead of just asking you to come back at a later time or day when they could see her more quickly.
