I called around 8:30 a.m. this morning to establish care for my two French Bulldogs and was told that they were accepting new patients but it would be a month out. The receptionist began collecting my information to create patient charts, discussed scheduling appointments for June, and was in the process of preparing the required $40 per pet appointment hold fee when the call was disconnected. When I called back later, a different receptionist informed me that the clinic was not accepting new patients and that I would not be able to establish care there. When I explained that another staff member had literally begun the intake process and was preparing to collect payment for appointments, I was simply told, "I don't know, but we're not taking new patients." The complete lack of communication and consistency was incredibly frustrating. Based on the glowing reviews, I expected a much more professional and organized experience. While I cannot speak to the quality of the veterinary care itself, the customer service and handling of front-office communication left a very poor first impression.

The wonderful ladies in the front office gave me the opportunity to bring her in that morning. Dr B ran tests and offered options on next steps for immediate treatment via a referral to urgent care. Unfortunately through additional tests she was diagnosed with an incurable cancer and was suffering. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her down. Even though the Dr and staff saw my pup for a short time they showed so much compassion. It is obvious how much they care for their patients and their "parents". Tried to speak with Kara about the extra service charges and paid $1200 for one week because I have foster cats. This entails scooping two extra litter boxes. Also the employee has broken two of my vacuums and all these issues were never communicated to me even though I would text every day. My cat was sick and I obviously answered any questions to give the veterinarian an idea of what was wrong with him. When I tell you she wasn't in that room for more than a minute, I wish I were exaggerating. She looked into my cat's mouth for maybe 10 seconds and decided $675 worth of medications and treatments was needed. I would have probably been ok with paying that amount if I genuinely felt like she cared about my cat's health and wanted to help him. I then tried to see if I could get any of the medications without the $235 bloodwork. At least the fever reducer. The vet veterinarian said no. The bloodwork was then dropped down to $165 to send the test out to a 3rd party instead of in-house. I left this place unsatisfied with their service and luckily I already had another appointment lined up for my boy and he is doing much better.

I knew I couldn't keep Marina home with my other two dogs because I hadn't socialized them yet. Breanna was recommended to me by the Rescue that I got Marina from. Although I was nervous about leaving my new girl with a stranger, Breanna wasn't a stranger after my first meeting with her. Her philosophy's on dog care and training were exactly what we needed. I also felt comfortable asking her questions and suggestions on some skin issues that Marina was having. Knowing that she had been a Registered Vet Tech made me feel comfortable taking her advice. Marina stayed with Breanna during the day while I was at work for about 2 months. She gained social skills while interacting with her family and other dogs. She actually bonded with her cat. Marina's best friend at home is my rescue cat. I have to thank Breanna for giving my girl the start she needed in life when I couldn't be there.
