I called May 4 to schedule a wellness appointment for our two dogs so we could put them on Bravecto, which we've used many times. The earliest they could get us in was July 1. We were going on vacation the end of May and they wouldn't work with us to get the meds. Can't prescribe without seeing the dogs even though they were seen in December, 2025. However, I went ahead and made the appointment. Yesterday, they sent me a text stating our appointment was canceled due to not paying $50 for a deposit before the appointment. What? All the years we've been going to this establishment, we never, ever missed an appointment. We're done with them.

I called around 8:30 a.m. this morning to establish care for my two French Bulldogs and was told that they were accepting new patients but it would be a month out. The receptionist began collecting my information to create patient charts, discussed scheduling appointments for June, and was in the process of preparing the required $40 per pet appointment hold fee when the call was disconnected. When I called back later, a different receptionist informed me that the clinic was not accepting new patients and that I would not be able to establish care there. When I explained that another staff member had literally begun the intake process and was preparing to collect payment for appointments, I was simply told, "I don't know, but we're not taking new patients." The complete lack of communication and consistency was incredibly frustrating. Based on the glowing reviews, I expected a much more professional and organized experience. While I cannot speak to the quality of the veterinary care itself, the customer service and handling of front-office communication left a very poor first impression.

I knew I couldn't keep Marina home with my other two dogs because I hadn't socialized them yet. Breanna was recommended to me by the Rescue that I got Marina from. Although I was nervous about leaving my new girl with a stranger, Breanna wasn't a stranger after my first meeting with her. Her philosophy's on dog care and training were exactly what we needed. I also felt comfortable asking her questions and suggestions on some skin issues that Marina was having. Knowing that she had been a Registered Vet Tech made me feel comfortable taking her advice. Marina stayed with Breanna during the day while I was at work for about 2 months. She gained social skills while interacting with her family and other dogs. She actually bonded with her cat. Dr. Takata shared her findings from lab work and ultrasound which showed our dog was not clotting, had a dangerously low blood count, and an opaque bladder ultrasound. Possible cancer. We made the difficult decision to stop treatment and say goodbye to our girl. They were caring throughout the process. I imagine it is difficult for the staff as well as us.
