So I paid for my dog and saw the reviews here and freaked out a bit. It was totally unwarranted…read more Communication with Angel at Happy Tails was great. She was responsive and helpful. They gave me a delivery date for my toy teacup maltipoo and everything went great. He arrived exactly when they said he would. He arrived clean, happy, and healthy with all of his paperwork and food. I took him to the vet the next day and they said he was in great shape, healthy, and had a great personality. He looked exactly like the photos and his personality is perfect. It seems like they likely represent multiple breeders given the volume of dogs they have on the site but my experience was great.

I am writing to express my continued disappointment with the company's response, which remains…read moreevasive and completely fails to address the specific concerns I raised. Lack of Prior Communication: The company suggests I should have reached out directly before posting a review. I did. I contacted them directly and gave them ample opportunity to respond, but I never received a reply. Holding this against me now is completely unreasonable. Lack of Evidence & Results: My puppy spent five weeks in their training program, returning to me at just over three months old. After five full weeks, expecting visible progress is entirely reasonable. Instead, the only proof provided was a few single 20-second videos that failed to show her going to the bathroom or willingly entering a crate with the door closed. That is not meaningful evidence of active training. Follow-Through at Home: Since bringing her home, I have been diligent and consistent with her routine--taking her out every two to three hours, keeping crate time positive, and ensuring she is never left alone for extended periods. I am doing everything on my end to fulfill the training she was supposed to have received. Unacceptable Communication: Poor communication was a persistent issue throughout the program. While my puppy was away for five weeks, it routinely took two to three days to get a reply to simple inquiries. That level of delay is unacceptable when a client's young animal is in a company's care. A customer paying for a five-week puppy training program is entitled to clear communication, prompt updates, and verifiable proof that training is taking place. This business has consistently avoided addressing these failures, and their response does nothing to resolve my concerns.

I have also never worked with a breeder who seemed sincerely interested that her pups remain happy and healthy throughout their life. This is their business, but it is clearly also a labor of love--both for her pups as well as the families who adopt them. Melody was has a wealth of information to raise a dog holistically. Everything they do is professional and detailed oriented. They provide a wealth of professionally written and organized information. Seeking Shalom Acres raises her pups in the home with her husband and nine children. As a result, my puppy was already well socialized and confident, and nearly 100% potty trained. I have never experienced bringing a puppy home and after just two days was successfully going potty on her wee pads 90% of the time. It was the easiest transition/training period ever! Seeking Shalom Acres has an informative and fun Facebook and YouTube channel. Once I purchased our puppy, they provided a complete puppy manual, a puppy checklist....I have never been so prepared to bring a new puppy home. Melody also provides lifetime support which I have used extensively. Melody responds immediately and thoroughly through text or email.

They Took exceptional care of him, and since he was a little older when I got him they had obviously put so much time and effort into loving him and socializing him, and working on his training. He is completely healthy and is the most loving special dog I've ever had or met, and I am a veterinary technician, so I've met a lot of dogs! I love that they're holistic, and I love how much detail they put into educating each owner about nutrition and every aspect of puppy care. If you're looking for a reputable breeder and want a sweet healthy puppy, Melody will help you pick the right one for you! There really are no words to explain the wonderful experience I had with her, how much I appreciate how much time her daughter obviously Spends socializing and caring for each puppy. When I get him a friend in the near future, I will definitely be using Melody! Thank you guys SO much for matching me up with the most perfect wonderful baby I could have imagined! We bought two milkweed plants, one with butterfly eggs on it, the other without, in hopes of them having butterflies in their yard. They have a very nice picnic shelter with lots of picnic tables, so you can pack a lunch to enjoy at their facility. They have a few activities set up for the kids, like slides and a climbing walls, because they divide everybody up into groups to go into the butterfly house for the feedings. They even have a nice shady area with a mister to help you cool off. I bought our tickets well in advance, to make sure we would get them. They only offer a few weekends during the spring for families to visit, and limit ticket sales to prevent overcrowding. The rest of the time is field trips. I would not suggest just showing up and hoping to get in.

The butterfly exhibits are beautiful, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing what they know. There is a large open field where kids can run, play, and explore, making it a great outing for families with young children. We visited in May, which was a wonderful time to see the butterflies, although it can get quite warm later in the day, so plan accordingly. If you're looking for a unique NC agritourism experience that helps connect families with agriculture, nature, and hands-on learning, All A Flutter is absolutely worth a visit!
