Everyone is on board from the moment you walk into the store. We just purchased a suite of appliances last week. The salesman, Rich, took the time to walk my mother through every appliance she was interested in, guided her to a more quiet dishwasher (did you know they rate dishwashers on sound? Our salesman did!), helped her find appliances in stock, and set the delivery date. The store manager, Andrew, and his assistant, Crystal, were so kind. If you live in a condo, you know what a pain delivery can be. Crystal has an entire binder of COI's in her reach to make delivery easier. Never saw that at Lowe's or Home Depot. P.C. Richards is still family-owned, and they act like it. You will NOT get the same service in any big box store. The prices are very competitive, but it's the service that matters, especially during the Covid era where delivery and stock are in question. I would not hesitate to purchase appliances again in the Nanuet store.

Everyone left and an hour later I received a call from a friend who went to check for himself, and the customer ahead of him purchased the last one. I then called the store and asked the employee if they received any Pokemon product today and I was told no. Either some shady business is happening or the employees are ignorant as to what they're selling. Either way it's not a good look for business.

He DID NOT use my sink template for the very expensive Prep sink I bought and insisted he did. He measured the sink and cut the marble. The problem is the sink has a TIER for cutting boards etc. The countertop was cut incorrectly at the sink so the accessories can not be used properly. If or if not familiar with this type of sink, the sink needs to be cut out correctly to the sink template in order to be correct. He placed the blame on me when he had the sink and template in his possession. Very bad business practices and I do not recommend using this place.

Ordering online was easy (and don't forget to go through your favorite cash-back website before checking out...). My order was ready for in-store pickup a few days later. Pickup couldn't have been easier. They even offered to help carry everything out to my car, but carrying ten 40-pound bags is lovely exercise... so I declined. The store is easy to get to, just off Route 59, with a convenient parking lot and quick access in and out. It's branded as Wallauer Paint & Hardware, but it's also an Ace Hardware location. In addition to the usual hardware selection, they carry a full line of Benjamin Moore paints. Smooth experience, competitive prices, and friendly service.
