I hurt my lower back in July, and one of my friends recommended this place. I have never been big on chiropractic medicine, so I was a little skeptical. I liked the fact that they have medical doctors, chiropractic doctors, and physical therapists on staff. The fact that they have medical doctors also allows it to be fully covered by my health insurance......HUGE PLUS! I have made over 15 visits now; and there have been zero copays for me! Everyone at the office is extremely friendly; from the moment you walk in, to the moment you are finished with your visit. During the Covid pandemic everyone is wearing masks, and temps. are taken prior to being seen. They also have patients wait outside, instead of in the lobby; but it's usually not a very long wait. They have so many physical therapists; and they are all extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There is a huge room for therapy, with about 8-10 beds in addition to some cardio equipment and a few other stations. The tables are currently separated by sheets of plastic, and everything is wiped down after each patient users it. They have such a variety of machines and tools; everything from a "water bed" to a traction machine. Every visit is a little different; but as I mentioned, all the therapists have healing hands and they have taught me many stretches and exercises that I can do on my own. My back has been feeling so much better since I started visiting A First Choice Healthcare . I will actually be sad when my back is fully healed, and my insurance does not allow any more visits. read more

Dr. Sica is absolutely the best! Communication is paramount, he meets that with ease. Davie, Fl location. The physical therapists are wonderful, but the front desk girls are horrible. Danielle, Ashley and Jennifer are rude and unaccountable. They never greet me unless I speak first (I tested them a couple times and they just stood there staring at me-VERY weird). What kept me going back were the therapists. It's like a different vibe in the gym section-positive energy. What caused me to stop going was when they started verbalizing their rudeness. Apparently Ashley is the manager and since she isn't accountable herself, I see why the other too exhibited such unprofessional behavior. I had a problem with sciatic nerve in my lower back that was keeping me from having a normal life. It was painful just to take the elevator to the first floor to get my mail. When I went there Duane asked me what I wanted to accomplish, I told him that I wanted to be able to take long walks and be able to live a normal life again. If I'm kept waiting a few minutes, I'm okay with that as long as I'm given some kind of reasonable explanation and / or apology. But being shown a seat and waiting 30 minutes without a single word or attention from anyone while watching 2 or 3 employees chit-chat or doing nothing? I have had a lot of therapy and been to a lot of offices over the past 15 years. This is by far the best place to go. They teach you as you go along. They help you understand why you are doing something and why it helps. They also tell you what not to do and prevent further injury. They do it all and are very well trained in all categories. In the past I didn't ever see a real difference so I would give up. They help me see the difference in my posture and strength to keep me going. I have done PT, Cupping, Grasting and Massage. I arrived to my appointment on time. I sat in the waiting area for 35 minutes, being told twice that I would be seen in about 15 mins. After being taken to the back to "see the doctor" I sat another 15 minutes before leaving and canceling my appointment. In total I spent nearly an hour waiting to be seen by the doctor. After complaining about the lack of consideration for my time, I was told that first time visitors should expect a 45 minute gap between their appointment time and the time that they would be seen by the doctor. Oh really? Thank you but no thank you. I will take my business elsewhere. Horrible first impression. Won't be going back. read more

I was very hesitant about doing PT here and getting adjustments. I've been to many other places, no one and nothing ever seemed to help. I would leave those other places feeling worse than when i arrived. After just my first visit here i started feeling better! This place is amazing and the staff is fantastic! DO NOT GO!!! WORSE place ever! Jeff Duplassis injured my knee with a permanent cyst after stretching me against my will very hard and causing me pain and a new injury! I called the next morning after I went to let them know of my new injury of the knee; and he never ever called me to see how I was doing! Linda the insurance lady insulted me and was extremely rude! Horrible service!!!, after my accident I only went 2 times and they injured me worse and caused me a new injury! I was introduced to this place through the gym I work out with. The staff here listened to my concerns and were eager and diligent to address the issues present. Josh has been a big part of my experience here, he is always taking an extra step to make sure I am happy and taken care of. Mario is great as well. He works hard and is good at what he does, always caring about how I am progressing with my care Debbie is the girl to go see if you have any questions or concerns. I started getting physical therapy here after a car accident. The treatment has helped tremendously. The massage therapists are wonderful, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had never been adjusted by a chiropractor before, and frankly I didn't have a great deal of faith, but the results are amazing! I hadn't been able to turn my head to the right in about 20 years, which makes driving in South Florida a whole lot of fun. Now, after a few adjustments by Dr. Sica (a.k.a. Do not buy any Groupons for this facility or go here!! Normally, I'm very pleased with Groupon. These are nasty, uncooperative people and we had a bad experience. I purchased 3 massage groupons for my sons for Christmas. I called prior to even purchasing them to find out about scheduling saying that I would schedule since they were gifts, something nice for my boys. Two of my sons went the correct day and on time and quite honestly they weren't thrilled. My youngest son is a lifeguard on call and whose schedule changes. The first time I scheduled his appt was for a Wednesday but he had to work so I called the day before and left a message on their voicemail cancelling. They complained and very begrudgingly rescheduled. The next time was for a Monday and they are closed on the weekend. The day before, Sunday, I left a message on their voicemail saying I needed to reschedule. Now they will not honor my Christmas gift and refuse to reschedule. I left three messages for the owner Dr. Goldstein requesting that he call me on my cell and has not returned any of my calls. I think that is very poor management and disrespectful. No wonder the staff is as is. I want explanations from him. I would not recommend, in my opinion, using this facility. I got the vibe like, you didn't give enough notice (even though it was the day before in both cases) and you paid so too bad. read more
