Just a price- which I did approve. When I asked why this was so high I was told Two hours for labor and additional taxes. Really? My ring door bell shows she was here less than 20 min. I should have been informed there would be add ons (labor, taxes) during the quote. That would be the professional business and honest thing to do. Clearly the owner does not value my business because I was told to bring the plants back and leave them back the back door. What a waste of my time. Do not recommend this business for poor customer service and appreciation. Shame

Serving Hinsdale for over 20 years- Jane's is the kind of place where everyone who works there- loves and knows flowers. If only they could see the expression of joy when their delivery person shows up at my house with an arrangement for me! They have crafted silk arrangements for my home from centerpieces to front door wreaths and all have exceeded my expectations- especially when I go in with ideas like "I want something like this . . .but I'm not sure . . . .do whatever you think is right". And they do. I have also used them for their container garden designs and planting. Last year a major magazine was doing a photo shoot in my garden and my urns were looking a little tired. Jane's came out- replaced some, and spruced up others to make the garden shine for the shoot. It had a statue in the center also to have as a keepsake. They had a picture of this one too. I was able to get this and it would make it on time. When I arrived at the visitation I was shocked to see my arrangement. It was absolutely beautiful and exactly as the picture I was shown. Usually the arrangements don't resemble the picture. Often flowers are substituted or colors are not as shown. The flowers were fresh and very nicely done. I could not have been more pleased! When I was in the shop I was also shown other figurine options I could have purchased for this. The ladies were not only accommodating, they took the time to help me be sure I was happy with my selection This is now my go to florist. There are shops closer to my home but I feel that if you get great service and quality it's worth my time.

I also find it highly inappropriate and offensive that the owner attempted to publicly attribute 'anxiety' to me. I have never been diagnosed with anxiety by a professional, nor do I have it. Using a baseless claim about a customer's mental health to deflect from a wrong order is a serious overstep and speaks volumes about the business's ethics. The owner, to my knowledge, is a florist; not a psychologist. As for the refund, I never requested one. My concern was receiving the product I paid for. If the refund is being used as justification to avoid accountability, I am willing to return it if that prevents further misrepresentation of the situation.
