Waiter for months after calling, texting and going into the store for a quote to have them do seasonal porch planters. That should have been my first clue- lack of customer service and follow up. Finally got a quote of 175-200 for a planter and was told it would most likely be less. I received a text from owner, saying after plants were installed, my total was $540! I was told prior I would get a say or input on design choices when they were planted- the women came while I was gone, which is fine, but prior to that no options were given. Just a price- which I did approve. When I asked why this was so high I was told Two hours for labor and additional taxes. Really? My ring door bell shows she was here less than 20 min. I should have been informed there would be add ons (labor, taxes) during the quote. That would be the professional business and honest thing to do. Clearly the owner does not value my business because I was told to bring the plants back and leave them back the back door. What a waste of my time. Do not recommend this business for poor customer service and appreciation. Shame read more

Beaucoup of love for BoKAY! My husband came home with an early Valentine's bouquet that is stunning - just a bit different and total quality. I had walked by their new studio earlier in the year and was blown away by the modern and unique way they arranged the flowers. I placed an order almost a week ago for a Saturday delivery. Less than 2 days before delivery I get a refund notification by email but no reason why the order was cancelled. I called Friday morning and left a message on their answering machine that states they will get back to you that day. By 4:30 pm I have heard nothing. It is too bad their customer service is so poor because this is the recipient's favorite florist. I will be letting her know my disappointing experience and encouraging her to no longer use this florist. read more

Wonderful florist and true artists! I just used them for my future daughters-in-law's shower and was so impressed with their creations! We had the shower at Frankie's Ristorante (check that wonderful review of mine) and she knew exactly how to set it up perfectly! I'm so upset with this florist. Called Sept 16th to order flowers for a dear friend who was having a BIG birthday on Oct. 13th. Asked that the flowers be delivered on her birthday and the flowers never came. So a friend I've had for 35 years thinks I totally forgot her birthday. I'm so angry. I have called twice and no has called me back. This florist used has some really unique designs and great stuff now they don't fill orders. read more

I never write any negative reviews. But the level of lack of customer service and even common courtesy of returning multiple calls has made me write. After paying more than $1750 dollars for two arrangements, one of them collapsing from the weight of the materials used. I do not get any response from them about trying to fix the issue. This is after they took more than a year to get the order even done from the date of ordering. Height of poor customer service, and lack of even basic courtesy!! Such a shame!!! read more

I contacted Bokay when I wanted to add some additional fall decor to my home. I was so lucky when Christy Kamarauskas showed up on my front steps. She took pictures of the places I wanted to add some pizzazz to and asked me some questions about my style. Little did I know that Christy K would custom make me original decor pieces and send me pictures along the way to make sure she was on the right style track. The installation day was amazing when Christy K delivered all the pieces and professionally styled them in my home. The way she read my home and style and then created perfect pieces made me know right then and there that we were style soulmates! There was no financial obligation, however I rented all the pieces for the month for a minimual charge. Christy K both delivered and picked up all decor so it was unbelievably easy for the customer. Christy also mentioned that she has a design/event business, CK Design, and does tablescapes. I booked her to the day before Thanksgiving to design my dinner table. Again we discussed a vision and she sent me idea pictures leading up to the day. When the day finally arrived Christy K designed something so breathtaking that it belongs in a magazine. She not only brought the pieces we'd discussed but also additional items such as greenery, napkins, napkin rings, candle holders, the list goes on. The total cost was unbelievably reasonable! I went in on December 23rd looking for a gift for my wife. I always struggle to get her the perfect gift. The staff were wonderful. I asked for a quote for monthly flowers for a year. The initial quote was a little higher than I was comfortable with. Not only did they agree to my counter offer immediately, they prepared an example for me on the spot. I was already pretty happy and was in the process of completing the transaction when they offered to wrap the bouquet to give with the certificate for the flower service. As they were wrapping we were chatting about Christmas shopping. The staff insisted that I grab the other gifts I had in the car and they wrapped those too!! Terrible. My mom and I met with the owner about getting a proposal for our wedding. We spent about an hour with the owner and at the end of the meeting she said it would take her two weeks to send us a quote. Thought that was a long time to get a quote but fine...we are in no rush. Never heard from her again. My mom called back after about 3 weeks and the girl that answered the phone had no idea who we were. So I tried calling back 2 days later and the girl that answered still had no idea who we were and said she would tell the owner to call us. NEVER heard back. It's now been about 6 weeks and still no quote. I had budgeted about $8,000 for my flowers...I don't know any flower shop that can afford to turn down an order of that size, considering we were willing to purchase all of the vases and all we wanted were simple white flowers. If I were you, I'd stay away from this place, clearly they so disorganized...just glad I dodged a bullet here. I just can't believe that there are businesses still open that treat potential customers like this. read more

We contracted Bo-Kay Flowers to organize our floral design at our wedding at the Allerton Hotel (Chicago, Illinois) in August 2012. We were extremely pleased at their service. Becky, the owner, was very involved in coordinating the right flower arrangements for the venue. We gave her a basic idea of what we were looking for and the colors of our wedding and she was able to create a spectacular environment with gorgeous flowers.
