I went to try the whole grilled chickens but was pleasantly surprised that they have so much more! In the front of the store is the cutest ice cream shop. Lots of sweet treats. They also have bakery with cakes and cookies all the sweets of your hearts desire! Mexican bread too! Delicious and fresh. Nice place to take the kiddos. In the back you have the grocery store with fresh produce, meats, fruits, and vegetables. The meat looked so fresh (no horse meat)! Then you have a section where you can order lunch or dinner (Mexican food). .99 cent tacos on Tuesdays by the way. They have a salsa, pico de gallo, and guacamole bar. All prepared differently. You just pick your choice. The guac and pico was so fresh and tasty. A++ A variety of Freshly made corn chips! Then they have an Agua Fresca bar with different flavored waters. They will let you sample them before buying. All are delicious by the way with Agua Pitaya being my fave. A+ In the far back they have the grilled whole chickens for $10.99 that come with peppers and green onion. Really good. A++ They aren't limited to chicken they have a variety of prepared meats to choose from. Then if you pivot they have a tamale station with hot tamales. All kinds to include chicken, beef, etc. I had chicken tamale which was hot and so good. A+ The store is extremely clean and the workers are so kind. I had such a good experience that I'm going to go back and buy my groceries there next week! It's a must see!

Everything looked organized and well kept. Some of the employees I interacted with didn't speak much English, but that wasn't a problem at all everyone was still friendly, patient, and helpful. Now let's talk about these tacos! For $1?! You really can't beat it. I tried a few, but the carnitas were definitely my favorite--flavorful, tender, and I could've easily gone back for more. I also loved that they have a self-serve station with onions, cilantro, salsa, and lime, so you can dress your tacos exactly how you like them. Give me ALL the cilantro and lime! ‍ Of course I had to try the horchata and piña colada too. Both were tasty, although definitely on the sweeter side for me. I'd probably grab a smaller size next time, but I'm glad I tried them. Overall, this was a great first visit. Clean store, helpful employees, GOOD tacos, and plenty of other things that caught my eye while I was there. I originally came for the $1 tacos, but now I'm curious about everything else! I'll definitely be back to explore more of the prepared foods and see what other goodies I can find. And yes... I'm absolutely getting those carnitas tacos again!
