This is my favorite Kroger location. This is only Kroger that I will go to for groceries. The best part to buy here are the fresh flowers. They always have great deals on them. Customer service is excellent. The place is maintained neat, clean and fully stocked. Self check out is usually a breeze if the store isn't busy. I can always get in and out with no problem. Ample free parking in front of the store. Anytime I have had issues at this store, the staff have been really accommodating. Kroger offers thousands of quality food and household products from your favorite brands and companies. From fresh produce, meats and seafood to dairy, home goods and pharmaceutical needs and gas, Kroger is your one stop for savings. Doesn't hurt to check them out for yourself. It's a very unpleasant experience, from parking lot to check-out. I've started driving miles away to another location to avoid it.

I am so disgusted with the deli worker there she supposed to be the supervisor every Sunday. I go there to get rolls and there's always a problem, even though the rolls fresh I could never get them. She's always saying they're too hot to put out. She's always saying that she's working alone. There's no other workers there. They need to hire more employees in the deli bakery I am so disgusted with the service I even called the manager also agreed with the employee see if the rules were hot I don't know why every time I go there I have to deal with her. I'm hoping one of the district managers get in touch with me so I can let them know what's going on their store. read more

This store is not convenient to my neighborhood but shopping here is more enjoyable. Shelves are usually stocked. Associates are friendly and helpful. The shopping carts were badly in need of gathering and bringing inside the store. read more

This Kroger is located on the corner of Jonesboro Road and Harper Drive in Lake City, which sits right outside of Morrow. If you scroll through my reviews, you will see that I have reviewed many Kroger stores around the metro area and none of them have received below a 3 star rating...well that changes today. My trip to this Kroger location was just awful. I'll detail out in sections below to give more clarity on each. - Service -- Abysmal and when experienced it was rude. My visit today was for a few quick items including a sandwich and fresh veggies. I get the sandwich stand and began to wait. There was a total of 5 associates, including 2 managers behind the counter, but only one was assisting with sandwiches even though there was a line of folks. The associate at the hot bar next to the counter flat out told the sandwich fella that she was not helping him and when new customers came up to the hot bar she rudely yelled "you are going to have to wait". The Managers made eye contact with the line multiple times, but never offered to help. During the sandwich the sandwich associate ran out of veggies so he had to go to the floor to get fresh tomatoes and lettuce. He attempted to get his co-workers to help again, but they ignored him. Once I got my sandwich and was walking on the floor shopping, I encountered multiple associates and not one said anything, even the one that bumped into me. This continued at the self check register where the cashier came to clear my screen, but failed to say anything at all. - Cleanliness -- There was trash strewn all through the parking lot and that continued into the store. There wasn't one aisle I walked down that didn't have either trash or a puddle of something in it. - Condition -- This store is definitely in need of an upgrade and renovation. It is wore slap out. The floor is missing massive portions and what portions are there are stained and faded. The counters at the bakery/deli along with the wall signage is flaking and worn. The registers are dated and dirty. The exterior signage is faded and worn. Overall, this is a Kroger that I will never revisit. Today's visit was the most un-Kroger like experience I have ever had at a Kroger. I feel bad for the gentleman working the sandwich counter as he was the only one today who seemed to have any concern about the customers. It really pains me to drop a 1-star review, especially on my beloved Kroger, but it was certainly earned today. read more

Imagine going to a grocery store on Christmas Eve when you say to yourself you are not going to be in any store on Christmas Eve. Lies!! All lies. I was doing last minute shopping further down the road when I remembered that this Kroger was over here by Clayton State. So convenient. I had to use the restroom. The restroom up front was out of order. Luckily for me they had another one in the back. I had to pick up some items which they had plenty of stock. I'm grateful because I really didn't want to go to another store I promise you. I use the handicap carts to shop and they had plenty of them. So many stores have broken handicap carts. Even though there was a line of last minute shoppers, the employees got us all up and moving and out the door quickly. It was a good experience. Love the store. read more

I like the staff at this Kroger, so far everyone that I have been in contact with are very friendly. Sadly, just recently one of the guys who I always saw by the name of Anthony, who is a very nice guy, just disappeared. They have his picture posted by the checkouts, he has been missing for now a month. I hope they find him. The store is a bit older, but it does have 4 self checkouts. Sometimes it can take a while to be able to cash out, but usually I do not mind. One thing that is great about this Kroger is they are open 24/7, so it is very convenient for those who live near by, especially the college students at Clayton State :) This store has a nice selection for organic products in their health section. Which is a huge plus, as the older stores typically only have one or two isles. Here they have about 6, plus a freezer and refrigerated section as well. Sometimes if you are lucky you can find some things that are discounted next to this section as well, as it is stuff that will expire in about 30-60 days. If you are about to each lunch, then it is perfect as you will consume it right away. Over all, this is a good location. Just make sure to lock your car and keep your valuables hidden. I've come to this Kroger a few times and have mixed feelings. There are times when the cashiers are friendly and their are times when they are not so friendly. It depends on the shift and who is working in the pharmacy, on efficiency. It's a crapshoot with this location. read more

They had me standing waiting at their deli section for almost an hour and I was first person with no line. I guess they figured my time was not valuable. They told me 20 mins. I shopped came back then waited as my other groceries melted. They were slow and I was clearly their last priority. As someone with 15 yrs in customer service experience, I thought they were horrible. Seems like they may not even have a manager. Hot Mess got to PUBLIX instead at least there you have a reason to be waiting. read more

I was down in Atlanta visiting family and decided to make a quick morning run to the Kroger to buy Sunday dinner. What can I say? it was large, bright , spacious and had your standard Supermarket Fair. The produce department however had string beans, but they look like they had been in battle and lost. So I opted to get cabbage instead. I then went through the aisles looking for the rest of my grocery needs, found them with no problem, and checked out. I also signed up for a Kroger card while I was there so that I could get the sales and specials. When I return to Atlanta I will visit Kroger again, as it is a step above the Public's. I am still undecided about this store. It is usually, not always, but usually pretty clean. But it has changed a lot since I attended the nearby college sooooo many years ago. I do like the fact that they have a lot of MANAGER'S SPECIALS. Ladies, if you have been married for a while or have children, then you may not want to try the Manager's Special. But this long term Bachelorette here can and will eat all that 50% off meat and live to brag about it! Vegan? No problem just stroll your little thin self over to the vegetable area and they have plenty of Kale and Juices that are on Manager Special too! Location is usually crowded and parking lot can some times be dirty. Other than that I don't have any complaints. read more

This Kroger is open 24 hours - that's really the only good thing I can say about it. Well, and the parking is okay. It's really dirty. The quality of produce is questionable. I would never buy meat there. They elaborately block off parts of the store in the evening - I guess to control the flow of people? - but you have to walk around long lines of shopping carts and you feel like a criminal doing so. The self check-out stands often don't work, and trying to flag down a slow-moving employee is difficult. The smallest emergency shopping errand turns into a huge ordeal. Even trying to use the Redbox there usually means standing behind someone who spends interminable minutes browsing without actually renting anything. UGH. Just... no. read more

So glad to see the new changes in the store. I absolutely love the new organic selection of vegetables and fruit. The changes are awesome. The store looks more cleaner.. I have been waiting!!! The meats are beginning to look more fresher too. As I have been to other Kroger, this Kroger doesn't offer as much as the other Kroger stores; that I have been to. The Kroger location on Edgewood is awesome. Please keep making improvements to this location. read more

I was impressed with the selection of items in this store. Organic flours, Red Mill brand, alternative milks (including Hemp milk, which is usually hard to find anywhere but Whole Foods). We went looking for prunes one night and they had preservative free prunes. Overall, this was a pretty good experience. They are open 24 hours and that's a big plus. Whole Foods closes early. Maybe the store does not look amazing, and maybe it's not a high-end store, but for what it is, it's better than a lot of chain grocery stores. read more

Super disappointed in the customer service recently! I shop at this location 2-3 times a week for my groceries. Last week, the cashier and bagging employees were talking on their phones via headphones hiding in their hoodies. Very disrespectful. Today, there were only two lanes open on a Tuesday late afternoon. Both lanes were "15 items or less". I checked for other open lanes - there were none. Additionally, there were no customers in either of the two open lanes. Not wanting to self check out a full cart, I started to load my items onto the conveyer belt. After placing several items, the cashier told me that she would not check me out since I had more than 15 items. I explained to her that no other lanes were open and that there were no customers in front or behind or in the second 15 or less lane. She refused to check me out. I was forced to spend 24 minutes in self checkout as their machines are slow. I am so disappointed in their customer service. My advice: ALWAYS have a regular lane open if you are going to enforce the 15 items or less rule (which I'm all for). Plus don't have your employees say they will get in trouble for checking people out! read more
