While the clerk was ringing up my items I began putting in my customer loyalty number. The clerk observed me putting in my number and pressed a button which blocked my attempt. I then asked her to allow me the opportunity to enter my phone number so that I could earn points for the purchase. She refused. I asked to speak with a manager. Another clerk came over, told me the person who I was speaking with was her manager, and attempted to go back and forth with me about a more complicated way of getting credit for the purchase (which had not been completed). I told the clerk I was not interested in going back and forth and just wanted to purchase my items using my customer loyalty number. The whole time the second clerk that approached is looking me up and down. She then called a male coworker to the front. I then walked over to the customer service desk and began looking for the corporate office information. While waiting at the customer service desk, the second clerk (Tracey) asked the initial clerk (Negist) was she "alright." In my opinion, this was done to intimidate me and to signal that she would call authorities because I was prepared to complain about the service I received. This was one of the worst shopping experiences, if not the worst, I have ever had.

Staff have always been friendly, and they have always been helpful. About all I get from the deli is the chicken salad and am given the choice of bread and asked if I want mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato. They cut their own meat, so if I order it early, I can get a thick-cut steak. I'm usually greeted personally unless I come in at the secondary entrance and no one is at that register. I LOVE the idea of an old Ford tractor being on display in the store.
