I rarely leave negative reviews, but other dog owners deserve to know our experience. The purpose of dog daycare is to provide exercise, socialization, and a safe outlet for a dog's energy. If your dog is young, energetic, and still learning, as most adolescent dogs are, you should know exactly how this facility handled our situation. Our Labrador Retriever attended this daycare intermittently from 5 to 11 months of age. After one isolated incident in which he reacted poorly to another dog's correction due to trying to initiate play, the manager reassured us that this was not a serious behavioral issue, that he was simply still learning to respond to cues from other dogs, and that they were happy to continue working with him. We were never told he was on probation or given any deadline for improvement. Over the next three weeks, he attended only two additional visits. During one, he was injured. The staff present that day, as well as the manager in a follow-up call, all told us that he had done nothing wrong and it was through no fault of his own. During the next visit, I monitored the cameras and watched him be removed from group play within 15 minutes of arrival and brought out only three times for about 10 minutes each over more than five hours. When I asked why, the manager said he had done nothing wrong but they were "trying to get ahead of the problem." In other words, they had already labeled him as a problem before he had done anything wrong that day. Yet when he was eventually allowed to rejoin the group, we were told he played appropriately and without incident. This is what should concern prospective clients: we were explicitly told our dog could continue attending and that they would work with him, but instead he was quietly confined for most of the day without our knowledge. Had I not checked the cameras and called to ask what was happening, I have no reason to believe we would have been told. If a facility has already decided that your dog is too much work, they should communicate that honestly rather than continue accepting your dog and effectively sidelining them. After I raised my concerns, the owner informed me that he was no longer welcome. She then suggested that our dog was responsible for the earlier incident in which he was injured--directly contradicting her own staff and manager and attempting to make him seem like the problem even when those who witnessed the event said he was not at fault. Given that there had been no prior warning that dismissal was being considered, and that this decision came immediately after I questioned how he was being treated, the timing felt retaliatory rather than the result of a thoughtful behavioral assessment. When I told her that I intended to leave an honest review describing our negative experience, she became even more defensive and stated that she would fight it back. Unfortunately, after reading prior reviews describing similarly defensive and retaliatory behavior from ownership, this response did not appear to be an isolated incident. For additional context, prospective clients may wish to read the Yelp review from the Nazareth location dated July 17, 2019, which describes similar behavior from ownership. We also had broader concerns. We encountered 2 of their employees outside of daycare and overheard them saying that they feel overwhelmed and that there are too many dogs for the available staff. Our dog was injured more than once, and in one instance staff said they could not identify which dog caused the injury despite cameras throughout the facility. These issues raise serious concerns about staffing and supervision. We were also concerned by multiple episodes of kennel cough and giardia associated with the facility, and our veterinarian specifically warned us that they had seen numerous dogs become ill after attending this facility. To their credit, we were not charged for the day he spent largely confined. If your dog is a high energy dog or puppy who requires patience and continued development, this daycare may decide that your dog is too much work. In our experience, dogs who need extra attention may be blamed, confined, and dismissed rather than appropriately supported. read more

Our dog loves coming here for a day of playing. We get in the door and she does not care about us anymore it's all about playing with other dogs! We also have her nails clipped while there. Reasonable prices and staff is always friendly. You can also check up on your pup via camera. Our dog won't go in the big pool but a lot of dogs love it. read more

We take our Ike to A Furry Tail Come True. I went to different puppy daycare's to check them out but when Ike and I walked into a Furry Tail they greeted him with so much love with just meeting him. We were there for awhile because they had to asses him with other dog's to make sure he was safe with them. This was done in a separate location. after he passed they gave me a tour of the facility and it was very clean and everyone we met was very friendly and loving toward's Ike. You can tell the staff are very dedicated. I also like that they have 24 hour camera access. Not everyone has that. When we take Ike he is very excited to go which make's me feel good especially going away overnight. They also have military and senior discount which I think is incredible. read more

I just came from A Furry Tail Come True Two Small dogs had an appointment for 2:30 I brought them in. They were supposed to see Taylor. two hours later I called to see if they were ready. I was told it would be a few more minutes and I said OK I'll come and wait in the parking lot since I'm in the area, I'm sitting in the parking lot for a half hour and they finally come out to my car and tell me that my groomer is on her way. so for 2 1/2 hours they knew that my puppies were nowhere near ready and they didn't tell me when I called And they said well you can either take them with you tonight and reschedule and we will give you a discount or I could leave them and have to come back for them and it's already 5 o'clock. Needless to say I did not leave my puppies any longer, and I took them home. I will no longer be going to Furry Tail Come true. read more

While on vacation and boarding my 2 dogs there, I read a post that they were closing down the following day. The post mentioned that they would be contacting the boarders the following day. NO ONE reached out to me. After calling numerous times that next day I was finally connected, to be told that I probably did not have to worry- that I could still pickup my dogs at the scheduled day and time, BUT if there was a problem, they'd contact me. My dogs are family- how could they be so uncaring? They're supposed to be "dog people". After finally getting my dogs home, I found that they now have KENNEL COUGH. My vet said that they had received many dogs in the same condition from this "business". Not going there again! read more

Took my dog to daycare at A Furry Tail Come True in Nazareth for the first time this morning and what a mistake that was.. First things first, before today I made sure to let them know not to get his ears wet, that he is deaf and is a special type of boy. I told him when he plays he likes to jump and all that hyper dog shit. I got told no problem and whatnot. So we planned a trial run at the daycare this weekend. Fast forward to today, I wish I would've never brought him there. Just a boring empty room with a hard floor. No toys. And every time I saw them interacting and playing they were sprayed with water, poked with some stick or pushed away from each other by the workers. I get it in certain instances, but it was nonstop whenever they would start rough housing and playing. By the way, all of this was witnessed on camera because they let you watch while your dog is in there. Which is appreciated. I can understand dogs get rough and what not and you gotta do what you gotta do, but when I witness you throw something hardcore at my dog, push and kick my dog and spray him with water near his ears, we have a major problem. I wish I would've recorded all of this happening, but all I got in return from them were rude responses and excuses. Funny how you put my dog in "timeout", but there is no camera for me to watch my dog and see what you do. All trust gone. I thought this place was somewhere for dogs to run around, play with toys and just be dogs and mess with each other. It would've been one thing if I saw my dog attack another and I get the job can probably be stressful but that's no excuse. The best part is that they couldn't even apologize. I just wanted my dog to be a dog and play, but apparently this place is opposite. Even when they get a bad review, they don't have the balls to own up to their B.S. if my dog was "too much" for them they said they would call. However, that didn't happen. I have been bringing my dog here for grooming for about two years. We have had multiple issues with them cutting his ears too short despite us asking them not to trim them. We continued to use this groomer because the dog seemed comfortable and there weren't any major issues. This past grooming appointment, our dog came home with a nail cut too short that was bleeding. We understand that happens, however it is disrespectful to not inform the owner upon pick up about the incident. When we called to address the concern, they said "oh sorry." I've never met a less professional business owner. I am, in fact, a past customer of this facility. I chose to withhold my name because of already having been harassed and threatened. Now that I've seen other people going through the same thing as I have, I feel the need to add yet another experience with this business on a platform where they cannot pay to have the less-than-5-star-reviews removed. The owner and his wife go above and beyond to stalk and harass myself and many other women (mainly) and men who simply disagree with them. My disagreement is less with their WAY of training dogs (at least it wasn't initially, although thats become questionable lately as well), and very much with their lack of ability to be mature, professional members of society. These individuals have abused facebook and other platforms to threaten, stalk and harass several past customers, as well as other trainers in the area, and people who have never even set foot in their facilities all while boasting about themselves and things they claim to do for the community (which isn't much, if I may add.) They are now posting on social media begging for 5 star reviews while they've found ways to remove anything less and completely removed the option as of late to review the business at all on facebook due to recent upticks in "subpar" reviews. The lengths these individuals are willing to go to in order to harm others is truly alarming and because of this I cannot recommend anyone engage in business with them and I would certainly never trust them with my own babies ever again. read more
