thank you linda for doing an amazing job on my pedicure .i'm extremely picky and haven't found a pedi person in valenica . I travel 35 mins from valenica to get my pedicure done here . My co - worker suggested that i do foot modeling ! lol . she files them perfect and the polish job is on point . Vivian also does great gel -x extensions .She take slot of pride in doing nails and enjoys doing nail art . She can copy any photo or design of your choice . This is a no frills salon, clean, efficient and gets the job done. They took me in on a last minute appt, kept the appt time and I was out with a clean mani/pedi in one hour. Seems like a small business and I love supporting these kind of shops. Don't go in expecting a spa-like experience and you won't be disappointed. read more

Poor quality of service & customer service When my niece and I walked in we had to wait for them to get done doing each other's nails When trying to pick my color I was rudely told to sit down I was asked if I wanted long or medium gel x , I requested to see the different nails to determine which length was best , the nail tech opened them and I asked if she could hold the diff sizes up because I had foil on my fingers (soaking my old gel x off) and she got an attitude and just closed the cases I was told it would be $5 to remove my nails (8 nails 2 were broken) , no problem Then was told it would be an additional $10 to clean my cuticles up , a service that is usually included when I get my nails.... I then decided to just have my nails removed because they weren't friendly and I felt it was excessive to pay $80 + whatever the gel polish fee for my nails My niece received a regular mani pedi w/ a Matte gel top coat which was $50 Once we checked out they charged $10 for the removal instead of $5 -not to mention that they didn't even properly remove the nails, there is still remnants of gelx nails on my nails (See pics) $60 total Overall the experience was awkward and uncomfortable and we didn't feel like they wanted to do our nails read more

I gave this place 5 stars 8 months ago. I'm not sure what happened here. The front staff called to ask if I could push my appointment back (I said I could). I sat waiting in an empty salon for 15 minutes before asking the front staff girl who was on her phone where the technician was and she just said "oh yeah, she's waxing someone." The person who helped me was fine but there was only one technician, the front staff was rude and I was just really disappointed. Sadly, won't be going back here. read more

Outstanding! Vivian was so good and very detail oriented. I absolutely love how she shaped my nails and applied the color. Speaking of color - they had a nice array of colors in regular and gel. Vivian did my nails and she did such an amazing job! I'll definitely be coming back. She did a great job at shaping and the design. Just a fair warning: I guess they've been a lot busier lately because of the holidays and when I went in for my appointment last night, a bunch of appts that had come in throughout the day were late & because they try to still get everyone in, everyone else's appointments got pushed back. I called to ask pricing for gel x long. She told me $60 so I came in. I was charge $80 for a very basic set that honestly wasn't that great. I had to guide him on the shape and I'm not that happy about it. He charged me $10 for cutting cuticle which as you can see in the pics are not done well and I wasn't aware of being charged. When I paid I told him she told me $60 on the phone and he just laughed it off. I'm just overall disappointed. read more

I just went here because it was close to my job. They told me $20 for gel pedi, I ended up paying 3 times the amount. If they offer you anything, ask for price because they are sneaky!! Charged me a lot for mediocre work Rushed when only one other person was there and they didn't even paint them nice. Not worth the money, never coming back. GO ELSEWHERE EVERYONE. read more

A great quality salon very hard to find for Los Angeles something that isn't over $100 for a simple manicure guess what a FULL SET and extensions for $65 professional, clean, free drink menu boba and actual pedicure chairs instead of a bucket with water in it, every place I been to in La has had just a bucket with shallow water. Everyone is super nice here and very accommodating. If you're a walk in or calling for a last minute appointment they go above and beyond to try to get you in. On top of that if you have questions, ask and you'll receive great information or recommendations! Looking for a new nail salon home, I tried this nail shop out twice. Both times I overlooked micro aggressions by killing certain nail techs with kindness and staying in my own self caring moment of joy. I feel like it is necessary to mention for anyone wanting insight into their personality. As for quality, the first time, I immediately noticed a few bubbles in my gel nails and noticed them chip within a week. I am familiar with nail salons and was hoping I had found a good one, so I thought I'd give them one more chance despite this. The next time I went, my gel nails had specks and bubbles in them. My nail tech worked so hard to attempt to remove them that, for time sake, I was willing to still offer a larger tip for the effort. My gel nails only lasted a week before FALLING off in strips. I made sure I cared for my nails with gloves and did not handle any chemicals directly..."Were their materials cheap?" Came to mind... That experience was enough for my not returning. This nail salon let me down. I'm still looking for a good nail salon in Sherman Oaks. I hope your experience will be better. You may have to overlook certain uncomfortable micro aggressions and disturbing nail quality. read more

Love this place! Amy is the best! It can be pricey but they do such a good job!!!nails last don't break and they can do it all! They have great availability and I always leave happy! Highly recommend ! I use to get gel x and my nails would last 1 week. Amy does it and it lasts 6 weeks. Best job! My go to nail salon and pedicures are amazing too!!!! read more

RUN AWAY - don't walk!!!!!! I had gone to this place several times- happy with the service and it looked clean. Little did I know they don't properly sterilize their tools after using them. My finger got so infected (paronychia) after getting a mani pedi here bc the lady cut my finger, which I understand happens- no big deal...but it was a big deal bc their tools were not cleaned, as I mentioned. I had to see a hand surgeon, get half of my nail removed, go on 2 rounds of antibiotics and go back to the doctor on a weekly basis for the last 8 weeks and it's still not healed!!! I went in the shop to notify the owner so this doesn't happen to others- I wasn't looking for a refund or free mani. The women working said the owner would be in touch. The owner, Vivian, was and told me her lawyer would call me re: the large medical bill my finger required. Then she completely ghosted me and I never heard from her or her lawyer. If there was a zero star rating- I would give it. DON'T GO HERE- literally go anywhere else. Appearances can be deceiving- looks nice but is actually covered in bacteria. read more

The spa definitely had a feminine touch to it, and I'm here for it with their fluffy lighting and pink undertones. I was greeted first thing thru the door. While looking for a color, Amy approached me to let me know which chair I'd be in. The communication was on par from start to finish. I called prior to coming in to ensure they'd be open, and available to take me on a Sunday evening. They graciously took me in with no wait in sight. My standard pedicure was $25 in the massage chair + tip. Amy, my nail technician was solid. She was super polite, courteous and personable. I picked a pink color that wasn't quite hitting right (too light), and she insisted to help me pick out the color to avoid me having to get up and look for the color myself. I wouldn't have minded at all. Considering the fact that I'd just gotten done with my cuticles being removed, my feet were still damp. Taking that into consideration definitely felt welcoming. I can't front, it's a little hot up in here. But, it is summertime in the valley 0_o. Four solid stars because they still do their thing up in here. They've gotta hella color options, 3 manicure x pedicure services to choose from & they're polite.

The salon itself was okay and the vibe was decent overall, but unfortunately the actual service was very disappointing. My daughter's nails looked like she had done them herself, and while my toes came out fine, my nails look horrible. The technician made my nails much longer than I asked for, even after I repeatedly said I wanted them shorter. On top of that, the nails on my left hand are noticeably shorter than the ones on my right. I pointed this out before leaving, but nothing was fixed. There is also glue left underneath my nails that I still cannot remove, which has been driving me crazy. To make matters worse, only a few days later, one entire nail completely fell off. At checkout, I was then told the total was $200 instead of the original $175 quote. I explained that I had been quoted $175 over the phone. It's honestly not even about the extra money, it's the principle of the matter and the overall lack of quality and professionalism. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I was extremely unhappy with both the service and the final result.

This place is so centrally located on a busy cross street of Moorpark and Van Nuys where it is always a hustle to get through. But I finally find a down time to check it out. I wish I hadn't waited this long because the parking situation is a breeze as they give you free hour parking with validation. They didn't have a wait and the space was very expansive. One of the largest spaces I've seen especially because they have an upstairs and a grand downstairs that you're used to seeing from the street level as you driveby on your regular commute. All I can say is there service was impeccable and I loved the gel nails and the pedicure that I got. They had all my favorite color schemes and that's all that I can ask for.

The reviews were decent so I tried it out. I called, spoke to Helen & got an appointment the same day, in the evening. I specifically asked her if they use iGel Beauty Dip Powder bec that's what I had on my nails already & she confirmed. I arrive, all lights are off, salon closed (Nooooo!!!). I call Helen asking about parking in the rear (per Yelp reviews) & where was everyone. She says they don't actually have parking in the rear and she would be 5 mins late. I parked out front at the metered parking & waited. She & her team did not take long. Myself & another client enter. The salon has massage chairs with attached foot baths. They line the foot baths with a single use plastic covering. They all wore masks as did we (the clients). There's a movable protective sheild for when they are doing your feet. Helen was very helpful and patient assisting me select a color for my hands. I wanted to use OPI gel polish. I brought in my own polish for my feet. I ask again about the iGel Beauty Dip Powder. She says they only have the color dip powed in that brand then proceeds to use whatever powder that's in her silver tins. Ummm, OK. I will excuse her snipping a piece of my actually nail off, some meat & making me bleed due to her being a bit rough and rushed. After she saw me bleeding she slowed down but showed no emotion that she just ripped a piece of my nail off. I know, I know, most people would have gotten the heck otta Dodge. I guess I'm one that sits thru the movie even when it sucks, LOL. The gentleman was meticulous at massaging my feet. My super dry feet feel so soft and my calves loved his hands. Oh and I loved that hot stone! I think I will try that at home. Helen did a decent job removing my old polish, sanding my nails and polishing. The whole, using one arm of the massage chair to do both hands was a bit uncomfortable. I ended up not using an OPI gel polish becauseI wanted to match my toes. She was nice when trying to find a match. She missed some corners during the hand polish. She ended up finishing my pedicure w/o drawing blood, LOL. Ultimately, I got a regular pedicure no bells or whistles (I only get my feet done because I can't polish neatly. Other than that, I normally do my own feet. So no extras for me.) with regular Essie polish and powder dip fill manicure with gel polish. The whole process took 1 hr 50 mins. I paid $25 for feet and $40 for nails. IDK, seems pricey to me but I'm from NYC so maybe these are LA prices, whatever, all good...well maybe I feel this way due to my blood loss, haa haa. Will I return? Let's wait to see if my finger doesn't fall off first, LOL. Other than BloodGate and the missed polish spots it was an OK experience. I actually love my nail color. Oh and the reviewer that mentioned them not taking plastic, Helen said their credit card maching "was not working" but I could pay using Venmo or Zelle...So yeah, will I return....IDK....

The lack of customer service and accountability was just as disappointing as the hair. I won't be back.

NOPE!!! Had the owner do a mani-pedi for me on Friday morning for an out of town celebration the…read morenext day. Within 30 minutes after, I took a good look at my nails in the sun and could see they were all polished bad. The polish was pulled away from the cuticle, almost like if the top coat pulled the two layers of polish away from cuticle area a bit. I snapped photos of it, showing the day and time on my photo was about 40 min. after I left the salon. I was unhappy with it but also in a rush to get on the road- that is why I made sure to be his first client that day. I got back in town on Monday, came by his shop and it was closed. Tuesday, I called him on my way home from work and he said "come in tomorrow and I will re-polish them" which I thought was kind and the right thing to do, but I was willing to pay for a polish. So I left work a bit early on Wednesday to make it to his shop by 5pm and as soon as he looked at my nails, he FLIPPED OUT!!! He told me I had to have put my hands in bleach!! Huh? Who does that?? Haha! These are my natural short mom nails!! I don't clean with bleach!! Seeing his own bad work made him lose it!! I was shocked by his childish behavior. I was also insulted that he thinks I would go to such measures to get my nails repolished - the boring white simple color he had done them on Friday. It's not like I have amazing, long fake nails with artwork on them and I want a free expensive nail service from him!!! Horrible behavior! Quite shameful listening to him holler at me and crazily swing his arms around as he suggested I was a liar. Also, I just noticed his website indicates $50 for a mani-pedi. He charged me and I paid him $55. I then asked my husband to send him $5 via Venmo (which he said he did!! ‍) but the owner literally pulled out his phone to show me that he was not venmo'ed on my behalf! Well, now that I realize I was overcharged, I guess he can't say he didn't get a tip out of me!!! He did rush through my mani, not even putting me in a station, but did my mani as I sat in the pedi chair. His 10am had arrived and suddenly our conversation stopped and he was rushed through. Never again will I go there. It has nothing to do with the bad job he did on my nails, but rather how he insulted me and flipped out on me when I came back to get my nails polished right. (FYI - my pedicure was fine, which he did first.)
