Let me beging by saying, I am providing the good with the bad in this review. Helen and the older gentleman that did my feet were actually very nice. This was my first time at the salon. The reviews were decent so I tried it out. I called, spoke to Helen & got an appointment the same day, in the evening. I specifically asked her if they use iGel Beauty Dip Powder bec that's what I had on my nails already & she confirmed. I arrive, all lights are off, salon closed (Nooooo!!!). I call Helen asking about parking in the rear (per Yelp reviews) & where was everyone. She says they don't actually have parking in the rear and she would be 5 mins late. I parked out front at the metered parking & waited. She & her team did not take long. Myself & another client enter. The salon has massage chairs with attached foot baths. They line the foot baths with a single use plastic covering. They all wore masks as did we (the clients). There's a movable protective sheild for when they are doing your feet. Helen was very helpful and patient assisting me select a color for my hands. I wanted to use OPI gel polish. I brought in my own polish for my feet. I ask again about the iGel Beauty Dip Powder. She says they only have the color dip powed in that brand then proceeds to use whatever powder that's in her silver tins. Ummm, OK. I will excuse her snipping a piece of my actually nail off, some meat & making me bleed due to her being a bit rough and rushed. After she saw me bleeding she slowed down but showed no emotion that she just ripped a piece of my nail off. I know, I know, most people would have gotten the heck otta Dodge. I guess I'm one that sits thru the movie even when it sucks, LOL. The gentleman was meticulous at massaging my feet. My super dry feet feel so soft and my calves loved his hands. Oh and I loved that hot stone! I think I will try that at home. Helen did a decent job removing my old polish, sanding my nails and polishing. The whole, using one arm of the massage chair to do both hands was a bit uncomfortable. I ended up not using an OPI gel polish becauseI wanted to match my toes. She was nice when trying to find a match. She missed some corners during the hand polish. She ended up finishing my pedicure w/o drawing blood, LOL. Ultimately, I got a regular pedicure no bells or whistles (I only get my feet done because I can't polish neatly. Other than that, I normally do my own feet. So no extras for me.) with regular Essie polish and powder dip fill manicure with gel polish. The whole process took 1 hr 50 mins. I paid $25 for feet and $40 for nails. IDK, seems pricey to me but I'm from NYC so maybe these are LA prices, whatever, all good...well maybe I feel this way due to my blood loss, haa haa. Will I return? Let's wait to see if my finger doesn't fall off first, LOL. Other than BloodGate and the missed polish spots it was an OK experience. I actually love my nail color. Oh and the reviewer that mentioned them not taking plastic, Helen said their credit card maching "was not working" but I could pay using Venmo or Zelle...So yeah, will I return....IDK.... read more

The service itself was ok- they never actually asked if I wanted a manicure or a pedicure but just motioned me to a chair. My nails turned out ok, but they chipped badly the day after I got them done and all I did was watch tv and go to the grocery store (see photo). First of all, I want to point out that Jenny and Kevin did such a great job with my gel manicure and pedicure! They paid attention to what I was asking for and made sure everything was perfect. When I entered the salon, they both greeted me and prepped for my visit immediately. I also noticed that the salon didn't smell at all with chemicals which is great since I have a very sensitive nose and often get headaches from the fumes. The price was reasonable for both gel manicure and regular pedicure, I will be back again and would recommend coming here for their service and quality! read more

*editing review. Was at 3 stars, now 1. 3 nails have popped off by day 4. 2 of them, the brand new ones with tip that she put on. Both popped off day 2. I wouldn't even go back to get a fix with fear it's a waste of time. Went to get dip nails manicure. Call on the phone, prices $40 seemed great and was able to take me that day. When I arrived, she charged me to take off last manicure and for added nail tip and French manicure. So ended at $55 instead of $40. Still they had 20% off M-W so price was still okay, but quality and skill was fairly poor in execution. A piece of dark hair even got painted onto the nail. Didn't try to do solid job, wouldn't go back. read more

Love the salon! Atmosphere were stuffy at first but it got better. I went here near the end of June 2019 with my best friend for mani-pedi. As soon as we entered, I was asked to sit on one of the massaging chairs and immediately gave me a selection of nail polish color to choose from. Kevin worked on my foot and Jenny worked on my nails. All materials were freshly new and all the towels they used for me were fresh and steamed. The foot bowl was sanitised and disinfected properly. I got my first acrylic nails. Jenny dipped it into a pink powder, file and shaped my nails and applied nail polish. Kevin worked on my foot and gave me a massage on my legs and feet. My feet felt good and I fell in love with my nails! Would recommend this salon! read more

Both my fill and pedicure was done the same sloppy way. The second layer of polish is messy so you can see the misalignment. She asked me at least five times if I wanted a gel coat. I think this is her way of saying "told you you should have done gel". So disappointed this was my go to until they got new owners. 35 dollars for a fill and this is what I get. read more

Maybe it's a fluke (I do wash my hands a lot) but my home manicures last longer. This makes me question if the reason my toe kept smudging was cheap polish? It's worth calling them up- they always pick up and or text/call back right away. Super easy to communicate with and very friendly. They give the BEST pedicures- long massages! This place is a about 6 months new so I decided to try it out. the place is very modern and clean but as far as the work goes I will continue going elsewhere. I am very picky when it comes to nails so I just recently took my acrylics off and was in need of a major manicure. I had cuticles galore. I had a little acrylic by the bed of the nail that she didn't even bother to remove. My manicure was exactly 15 mins and no cuticles were removed. I don't like going to places were they quickly go around the nail and slap on the polish. I sure wish my nails looked like there profile pictures. Sorry won't be coming back. Love this place. After being treated poorly at Island Nail Bar numerous times I decided to run across the street and try Blossom. Extremely nice people, very good price and an excellent outcome. They have a unique way of having you pick out your color but once you get used to it then it becomes a really fun way to pick. This time it was 20 mins before 5, so even if she was waiting for someone you can get a mani in with 20 mins.
