Fun plate with spicy tuna & Lady Fire rolls.

A gogo sushi and Ramen is a place that almost experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was really nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had good music playing in the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sushi was excellent. This placed in a center that is sunrise and 3406 Old Settlers. Try it out!!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute establishment with tables and sushi bar services.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were seated right away and our waiter came over shortly after. Service was good and most dishes were out quick. Spicy edemame 2.5/5 before adding chili oil and soy sauce then it went to a 4. Baked green muscles, 5/5 good size and flavor. Chili oil was flavorful and crunchy! 5/5 Seafood udon 2.5/5 great noodles however the flavor was off, tasted like maybe cinnamon was added in? Strange taste wouldn't order again but presentation was great. Pastel roll- Very flavorful and plated beautifully! 5/5 Angry bird roll- 4/5 somewhat like the other roll we had but not as great as a flavor! Definitely will be back and look forward to trying other options!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We have a group of 10 and they set up a table quickly for us. Service was great, they serve the nigiri on fun display plates. Ramen was good, broth was wonderful, the amount of pork was lacking and seemed like a small portion to what I'm accustomed. Overall, I would go back, our group had a great time!!

Shout out to the yelpers that put me on. This place is now my go to for date nights. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is fun, the service is friendly and the food is delectable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What more can I ask for? We got the angry bird and the alaskan which was both delicious. It had good flavors and chunks of fish. I liked the angry bird just slightly more. The presentation was phenomenal and I got many people asking where this place is. I really hope that this business thrives bc I believe they deserve it! I don't know if we were extra hungry or the rolls were slightly on the smaller side (maybe both) so we ordered an app after. We tried the crab rangoon but that was a hard miss... too much cream cheese. However everything else was so good I can look over that. Their lunch menu looks really good for the price so might come back for that. Overall a 10/10 would definitely be back.

Our daughter took us here for dinner. I am not a sushi person. That has changed after eating here. We walked in and were immediately seated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor lets you know you are in a sushi restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Most tables were full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was quick to bring menus and take drink orders. The menu is large - I had no idea there were that many different sushi rolls. They also have ramens and some standard Chinese dishes. We ordered spring rolls, chicken katsu ramen, shrimp tempura rolls, a Crunchy roll, and a Go Go roll. The server helped us with our order. The presentation is artsy with special tiered platters and dry ice effects. I tried all of it - big leap for me - and it was all great! It was hot, fresh, and flavorful. And, the pricing is more than fair. All of the staff stopped by to check on us and were all friendly. When we were leaving one of them came over and thanked us for coming in. And it was sincere - you could tell he appreciated our patronage. I'd give this a higher than 5-star rating if it was possible. Great experience, great food, and great staff.

Pleasantly surprised by the very tasty RAMEN (chicken) broth. Also ordered a soft-shell crab appetizer. Both were yummy! Would do a repeat!

This is a newer neighborhood sushi place in Round Rock. They're not pretending to be anything they're not. It's not fancy schmancy but the sushi is very fresh, the service is very good, and they have a very large menu. This was our first time and we will be back. I'll point out that their prices (forgot to take a menu pic!) are lower than other sushi places making it something we can do more often which I truly appreciate. They brought our 4 lunch specials out "smoking" with dry ice for effect. The kids thought it was so cool! Places like this need our support to stay open to go try them and spread the word. Fresh sushi. Quality ingredients, not too much rice and a good amount of filling and a wonderful experience with their staff. So, they get 5 stars!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon entrance, there was a really unpleasant smell throughout the entire restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is nice, though I don't understand how the aesthetic of the tables connect with the rest of the theme.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was unfriendly and gruff for our entire visit. We had to flag him down from across the restaurant for everything we needed whether that be water and drink refills or to place our order or to pay for our meal. He actually yelled "What?!" at us one time. The restaurant was not busy, so there wasn't an apparent reason for this behavior. It got to the point where we were uncomfortable trying to get his attention for any of our needs. Not sure if this is the typical experience. Everything we ordered was delicious and plates were dressed up with beautiful decor. Edamame - hard to mess up, but was good Tonkotsu Ramen - very tasty, though not the best I've had Short ribs - delicious! Chicken fried rice - maybe some of the best I've had Sushi rolls - each we ordered was fresh and tasty I loved the food, but the smell and service gives me some pause. I may try this place again and hope for a better experience.

Quick service and very delicious ramen broth. So happy it's right down the street for me! Definitely going to come back.

AMAZING I would love to gatekeep this place but it's too good locally to not share. Highly recommend this place for a quick sushi bite especially since I'm super picky with my sushi..

We stopped by for lunch and enjoyed their lunch specials! Looking forward to going back again. Lunch portions were a little small but over all we really enjoyed this place. Service was good and there was little to no wait during their lunch hour.

Even with a heat index of 108°, I still walked in for their hot, succulent bone broth ramen...that's how good it is. The "LIVE NOODS" neon sign above the open kitchen is a perfect touch, you can watch the team pulling fresh noodles and building bowls right in front of you. It gives the place that energetic, authentic feel while keeping everything clean and modern. Wooden counters, red accent lighting, QR code ordering, and those sturdy stools make it comfortable for a quick solo meal or hanging with friends/family. Shout-out to Ana -- she was the absolute guide to deliciousness! She took my order with a smile and gave spot-on recommendations that led me straight to the good stuff. Service like that makes all the difference. I went with the Texasy Tonk (deep 60hr+ tonkotsu broth loaded with smoked brisket, smoked jalapeños, takana mustard greens, ajitama egg, and thunder oil) rich, savory, perfectly balanced heat, great chew on the noodles, and melt-in-your-mouth brisket. For the side I grabbed the Hot Pocketz from the Summer Combo (crispy birria-style brisket pockets with Oaxaca/Monterey Jack blend and birria dip). They were straight fire...crunchy exterior, gooey cheesy interior, spicy kick, and that dipping sauce took them over the top. Pro tip: Pour the remaining au jus from the Hot Pocketz into your Texasy Tonk broth at the end, it takes the flavor to another level! Cold beer + sake chaser rounded it out perfectly. Pro tip for first-timers: If you're new here, stick to the OG classics on the menu (like the straight Tonkotsu or Miso) -- they're rock solid. Once you're hooked, branch out to the fun Texas twists. Fast counter service, generous portions, and solid value (especially with the Summer Combo). Whether you're coming from Austin or just passing through Round Rock, this spot is worth the stop.

Been meaning to try this place for a few years, and I finally made the drive up to Cedar Park to…read moretry what many online threads claim is the most authentic ramen in the area. The broth is delicate -- dashi-forward and mellow. One thing Ramen 512 does really well is the condiment setup. The way a diner has salt, pepper, ketchup, and Tabasco on the table, Ramen 512 offers togarashi, black pepper, rice vinegar, and chili oil -- exactly what a ramen shop should have. Since the broth was a bit light for my taste, I used the chili oil and pepper to dial it in. The noodles are thin and slightly soft, reminiscent of chūka soba. Not bad, but not my favorite style. The ajitsuke tamago (seasoned egg) is decent. The menma (bamboo shoots) were cut too thick. I ordered extra scallions but didn't get much. The chashu meat was chicken, which is fine. The internet isn't wrong -- this is authentic ramen, faithful to its roots. But it's also firmly mid. In Japan, ramen exists on a spectrum: there are bowls people line up hours for, and there are bowls you grab at an airport or a food court -- perfectly respectable, just unremarkable. Ramen 512 lives closer to the latter. It respects the craft without pushing it forward. It won't make you count the days until your next visit. But it's a solid neighborhood bowl, and I'm glad it exists. **8/10**

Everything they serve is made from scratch including their noodles and broth but the pricing is incredibly reasonable. Their customer service is top-notch which is just the icing on the cake! FAST FACTS: * Parking - located in a shopping center with a large parking lot * Reservations - no but you put your name into a tablet when you arrive to join the queue if there's a wait * Online ordering - available for pickup on their website * Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays * Weekly specials available until sold out (check their Instagram or Facebook) SERVICE - We arrived at 6:35 pm on a Sunday and were 4th in line after joining the queue through the tablet. Our table was ready at 7:00 pm and one of the workers kept us updated about the status of our table several times while we waited. Once seated, there is a QR code on the table to scan and place your order. Our server brought water to the table right away and checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we had what we needed. All of our food was prepared and delivered to the table about 10 minutes after ordering. I was incredibly impressed by the customer service! PRICING - The total was $67.65 after tax ($5.15) but before tip for a chicken karaage ($8), signature shoyu ($17) with extra spinach ($1.50) and extra kikurage mushrooms ($1.50), classic tonkotsu ($17), and black tonkotsu ($17.50). I think the pricing is reasonable for the quality of ingreidents and portion size. CHICKEN KARAGAGE (8/10): The chicken is incredibly juicy and tender while the coating is crispy! The Japanese mayo on the side for dipping is delicious. It comes with several large pieces so it's a great option for an appetizer to share. SIGNATURE SHOYU (8/10): This is a Tokyo-style shoyu ramen with chicken and dashi broth that's savory, umami, and a little tangy. It comes with pork chashu (I subbed chicken for no extra cost), homemade noodles, spinach, bamboo shoot, scallion, nori, Japanese fish cake, and half a soy egg. I added extra spinach and kikurage mushrooms for $1.50 each. CLASSIC TONKOTSU (9/10): This has a rich and creamy pork broth with a savory umami flavor. It comes with pork chashu, homemade noodles, kikurage mushrooms, beni shoga, scallions, nori, and half a soy egg. This is definitely a must-order if it's your first time! BLACK TONKOTSU (8/10): This has a rich and creamy pork broth with black garlic oil. It comes with pork chashu, homemade noodles, kikurage mushrooms, beni shoga, scallions, nori, garlic chips, and half a soy egg. All the flavors pair well together but the garlic does overpower the pork flavor in the broth (but I think that's to be expected if you're ordering a black garlic tonkotsu). Honestly, there's nothing not to love about Ramen512... from the service to the ingredients to the pricing, it has everything you could want and more. Eventually, I'd love to try everything on the menu because there are so many great options! The interior has counter seating like what you would traditionally see at a ramen shop in Japan as well as tables so it's perfect for enjoying a meal by yourself or with your entire family. I would recommend Ramen512 to anyone in the north Austin area looking for authentic Japanese ramen at a reasonable price!
