Definitely one of my favorite sushi spots to go to. I love this place. Everything always comes out really well. The sushi is always excellent. The service is pretty dang good. They are always on point here and the food comes out fast, so there is literally nothing to complain about. It is also very cost effective, so you really get a great bang for your buck here. I love the environment of this place. It is never extremely busy. There is usually a table or two taken, but that is about it. There is another place I like going to down the road, but if you do not call ahead and make a reservation there is a chance you will not get in. We always end up coming over here instead, and that is not a problem for me because this place is great. If you have not been here before, definitely stop in. read more

This is my favorite sushi restaurant outside of Austin. The fish is high quality. The presentation is beautiful. The nigiri is a work of art, served with kizami (real wasabi) which is hard to find. They also serve traditional Korean dishes (bulgogi, Japchae, Bibimbap). I recommend the dinner bento box which gives a lot of bang for your buck! Bento box is plentiful, delicious, and offers variety. Japanese beer and sake available to order. The restaurant is peaceful, calming and clean. Service is always great and attentive. I found a hair in my rice and politely informed the server. Accidents happen, so I wasn't angry, but what disappointed me most was the server's attitude throughout the situation. The server responded in a defensive tone and said she would bring another bowl, but did not offer any apology. After waiting several minutes, my husband had to go to the sushi bar himself to show them the rice and the hair. Again, no one apologized. When the server finally brought a replacement, it was only about one-third full. She said they had run out of rice and would bring more later, which was surprising for a busy Saturday night at a Korean/Japanese sushi restaurant. The rice also looked very similar to the original bowl, so I politely asked whether it had been freshly prepared. Instead of reassuring me, she responded in an irritated tone, saying, "Of course it's new rice!" She then added, "I'm trying to accommodate you, so why are you giving me a hard time?" That comment left me speechless. I was confused by it, as I had simply informed her that there was a hair in the rice. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable but only wanted a replacement. The rice they said they would bring later never arrived, and we were still charged for it. We paid the full amount without arguing. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were told that the manager was away on a long-term business trip and unavailable. I understand that it was not the server's fault that there was a hair in the rice. Accidents happen. What disappointed me most was not the issue itself, but the lack of basic customer service. We remained calm and respectful throughout the entire interaction, yet the server's attitude made it feel as though we were being treated as the problem for raising a legitimate concern. A simple apology and a more professional response would have made all the difference. Instead, she became defensive from the beginning, as though we were attacking her personally. Management may want to provide additional customer service training to ensure that concerns like this are handled more professionally in the future. Their rolls are good too so definitely try one out if you're in the sushi mood. Service can be on the slower end because this place can get PACKED and it's quite small. The stew arrived piping hot with a side of rice, and it was loaded with plenty of veggies and kimchi, which I appreciated. I do wish there was a spicy level that you can pick for this dish. Our group also tried a few other dishes like the Philly roll, a sushi plate, and a sushi salad. Overall, the food was good, and my sister even took some leftovers home to enjoy later in the day. Service was okay, the waiter checked with us a couple of time during our time there. The restaurant is a decent size with smaller tables near the sushi bar and larger ones along the side walls. Was craving sushi and went here with a friend! The ambiance is nice with calming music so I can actually talk to my friend. The staff were attentive and the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered three rolls: Spicy Yellowtail, Sexy Lazy and Volcano. Spicy Yellowtail was my favorite followed closely by the Sexy Lazy. The yellowtail tasted yummy and the Sexy Lazy roll had a unique wasabi sauce that wasn't too spicy. The texture of that roll was interesting and I kept coming back to it! This was a much smaller restaurant than I had anticipated. Ambiance was a bit dated. Didn't really have the ramen feng shui we were expecting. Took a minute to be seated, but service was prompt and efficient there after. One waiter tended the entire lobby while also service as host. Ramen selections were also extremely limited. Kids tried the miso ramen, original and hot respectively. I indulged in the beef yakisoba. Ramen was very tasty and the yakisoba didn't disappoint. Lovely decor, delicious food, kind service! I was really craving some Korean food, especially Japanese Chae, so when I saw the reviews on this restaurant, I told my friend that we should try it. Although situated in a strip center, just down from a Gold's Gym, inside, the small restaurant radiates class and serenity. We were greeted by a smiling young woman and seated in a booth. Water and our menus followed. We decided to share several items. We ordered vegetable tempura, Mandu, a side salad, Jap Chae, and a tempura asparagus roll. The Mandu came out first along with the salad and small plates. My friend had to ask for a fork, but I used the provided chopsticks. The Mandu (or gyoza) were lightly fried and very, very tasty. The side salad was beautiful! Even my friend who had not wanted any salad, was amazed at the appearance and taste of this delicious side dish. It Included various kinds of greens, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and a ginger dressing. Our other dishes followed one by one. The Vegetable tempura dish was lovely. It included sweet potato, carrot, potato, zucchini, onion, and asparagus, but only one piece of each vegetable, so we had to cut them in half to share. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and the tempura batter was light and crispy. The tempura sauce was also very good. The tempura asparagus sushi roll was beautiful. And it was also incredibly tasty! My friend had never had vegetable sushi, and we both loved it. It came with the requisite wasabi and ginger slices. The dish of Jap Chae was a little underwhelming - it did not look or smell the way I'm used to seeing and smelling this dish. I did notice that the menu said it used crystal noodles, where most Korean restaurants use sweet potato noodles, so maybe that was one of the differences. It was tasty, but tasted different than any Japchae I have ever had. We ended up asking for some hot chili oil, which, when added along with some soy sauce, made the dish much tastier for me. The young lady who was serving, appeared to be the only person waiting tables. She did so with a smile on her face and a pep in her step, circling the restaurant and keeping drinks topped off while serving many different dishes to many different people. She was always kind and responsive, explaining what certain dishes were, and bringing a small side dish of kimchi when I asked to taste it. (The kimchi was more vinegary than I am used to, and not quite as spicy) Overall, it was a very delicious meal for a reasonable price, especially compared to some Japanese and Korean restaurants nearby. Been wanting to try this place for a long time and.. so glad we did! They have bento boxes for dinner and their chicken bulgogi is exquisite ! We love all the side dishes and each dish is super tasty . The miso soup was a bit salty last time so did not enjoy it that much . Korea House off of Anderson used to be my go to for good Korean food. I used to go there frequently for years! Ever since they made a ton of big changes, their food has never been the same, and it was time for me to move on. I was left with an emptiness to fill my Korean food cravings...now I'm so glad I found Miso! Their food reminds me a lot of what "the old Korea House" used to be! We had both the beef and chicken bulgogi which were spot on. I thought their soondubu jjigae was just ok. The servers are attentive to your needs and will refill your waters and ban chan. VERY disappointed in this place. I've been here a few times before and enjoyed the dishes I got. But today I didn't want anything spicy so I decided to get the Miso Ramen. The description on the menu stated: Hot thin noodle, fish cake, vegetable served with soup and baked pork topping. Sounds delicious right? What I got was a sad bowl of broth, noodles, green onions, 1/2 a hard boiled egg, and one small piece of meat. I asked the waitress where the fish cakes and other vegetables were, and expressed my disbelief at such a small piece of meat. She spoke to the kitchen and then came back to tell me that they changed the recipe and it no longer comes with fish cakes or other vegetables. WHAT?! I've made instant ramen at home that's fancier than this. I'm a ramen junkie and I'm HAPPY to pay $15+ for ramen but this felt such like a rip off. The egg was hard boiled and still semi cold, and the meat was tough and flavorless. I'm not going to go out of my way to come back here.
