Very clean and cool restaurant with delicious sushi! We shopped at the outlet mall and drove over to this place. The service was very quick and awesome.

Located in a very busy shopping center, you would never know that this place has a crowd with its dark windows. We came in and the restaurant was practically almost full. Having worked in the food industry for 6 years, I could tell that what needed improvement was the service. The hostess was also a server and we waited 10 mins before we were greeted. We waited another 10mins before being asked drinks and food order. The food is what will keep my husband and I coming back! The Chicken Katsu plate was very good. The chicken was nicely fried with a superb crunchy outside layer. The sauce was superb and the macaroni salad excellent! We tried the Trio Sashimi which wasn't bad for the price. The fish tasted fresh and the slices were thick chunks of fish. We really enjoyed the Round Rock Roll. It had a nice rice to filling ratio! The Jalapeño Bullet was solid but something we would pass on. We are curious about their ramen options as we have a good selection and we saw quite a few people ordering it. What also bothered me is that they didn't have enough high chairs. They only had 2 and it was all taken when we were seated so we had to hold our daughter while eating one handed the whole time. All in all, good vibes, nice atmosphere, good food but service needs adjustment!

A return visit that was well worth it. Our server was amazing. A sweet young lady who was very engaging and joked with the kids about the holidays. Ambiance was, as always, relaxed elegance. Sushi was fresh and visually stunning, while ramen hit the spot. Fire cracker roll and dragon roll, with spicy Thai ramen, miso ramen, and tantanmen. Five stars

If you can't make up your mind between wanting ramen or sushi, Fujiya Ramen is the place to go. Favorite ramen & sushi joint in Round Rock. Everything made to order, comes out fresh and hot. Service is always on point.

Rolls were pretty good and fresh! Good rice to fish ratio! The service was friendly but the food took a lil longer than needed. I liked the vibe in there and would come back when in the area.

Had a craving for ramen and the friends I was with wanted something different so we found this spot. They have a great variety of food and kid menu friendly. The place has a really nice setup and decor. Groups, solo, or a date night, perfect spot. Everything we had was really good. Loved the ramen. Hit the spot. The gyoza had great flavor. The chicken katsu was fresh. My favorite part was the tuna because it was semi fatty and really fresh. I wanted to order more but too full. Definitely will be coming back to try more!

I go all the time when I'm feeling sad.Their ramen is to die for,it's perfect for cold windy days. All the waiters are so nice and check up on you if you like what you order. Its the perfect place to go with a group and to just hang out.

In the past, I would get food delivered from here using Uber or other platforms, and it was good. I decided to come here in person and eat here one day after going to the Round Rock Outlet. I also decided to order something different than I normally do. I got the spicy miso ramen, and I have to agree with most of the reviews here. The broth lacks flavor compared to the tonkatsu ramen that I usually get. There is a bit of heat for those who usually don't get spicy food. But basically, the broth tasted like chicken broth with spice. So I would not recommend getting that. I would stick to my normal tonkatsu here. Service was okay; it seems like the wait staff is still learning the menu, as they are not all familiar with what is inside certain entrees yet, which is fine for a fairly new restaurant. Currently, the front door isn't open, and they have a vague sign on there to use another door, which usually means us the other door that is there. I wish they meant to say use the other entrance to make it clear and to put a sign on the actual door they want people to use. Restaurants is a decent size with a mixture of tables and booth.

Dinner was so amazing! We got miso soup , spicy garlic edamame, bbq chicken plate, avocado roll, cucumber roll, and Jalepano bullet. Service was so friendly and welcoming! Chefs are so talented here! Great food and chill vibes in the dining room. All for $60 total with tip 20% for 2 people dinner. Awesomeness!! Favorite sushi bar in Round Rock.

    Tonkotsu Ramen and Shoyu Ramen

This ramen was incredibly ordinary. I've been to most of the ramen restaurants in Austin, and I would say this is below average in comparison. But it wasn't bad, and I really like how they offered a low sodium broth option. I was surprised because I didn't see it as an option on the menu. This ramen did not leave me feeling dehydrated, and that is important to me. My friend who I came with also agreed this was a solid 4 stars. The restaurant is large with a good amount of seating. I got the tonkotsu ramen, and my friend got the shoyu ramen. I probably should've just gotten the shoyu ramen, which was the cheaper option. I don't think the specific broth would've made a big difference to me. I like how it comes with a soft boiled egg, which many other restaurants charge extra for. I was full and ended up taking a little bit of leftovers home. The service was good, and the food came out quickly. I paid $18.50 in total.

Came in on a Friday night place wasn't packed but there was a steady stream of takeout heading out the door so we figured we try it. Shaggy dog roll: was a little bland, could use a touch of spice. 7/10 Sure and turf roll was good but could use a crunch. 7/10 Thai curry ramen was awesome. Great broth. Excellent spice level, portions are massive, only down side crispy chicken in broth gets soggy too quickly. 9/10 Spicy beef ramen: beef was overcooked but the spicy broth makes you forget about that. All the flavors go together extremely well. 8/10 Will definitely come back here. Our server was a 10/10. Friendly, checked on us without being overbearing, never made us feel rushed, and took complicated orders without writing them down and nailed them!

I came here around lunch time with my coworker! The place was empty which we'd hope for since we were on a timed break, the host was also our server and he was super friendly and helped explained their soups to me and let me make substitutions on the one I chose. The soup was soooo good!! I love that the bowl was filled with noodles and not more broth than noodles. It was $16 plus tax & fee. Great price and great service.

Every visit over the past 4 years, even last night, The greeters and the takeout hosts have always been super friendly and prompt with orders. There's a full bar so you're welcome to order a drink while you wait. I've been known to order a glass of wine on one or five my visits. :) The food is a bit pricey but you get a lot for what you pay for. The flavor is always been good and consistent. I love the onion soup and the house salad. I'll never order the cucumber salad again because it has imitation crab on it and it's just not my prefer type of cucumber salad. I love Japanese and Korean cucumber salad but not this one. And that's okay. If you like imitation crab in your cucumber salad, give it a try. Anywho, as long as this man is my man and this is remains our halfway point, I'm sure I'll be ordering takeout many more times :)

The prices are certainly not on the "all you can eat" sushi restaurant scale, but you are paying premium for premium. On this visit, we arrived during their happy hour. Do check out their HH menu; it is more than generous. I'm not going to bore you with our selections, but the sushi is so tender and fresh that you are insulting the chef and the fish by adding soy sauce and wasabi! One highlight was the Spicy Tuna Katsu Maki; this entrée is wrapped in a seaweed cone with asparagus, avocado, wasabi mayo, and eel sauce. Another was Uni from their imported from Japan menu. My oh my, it was so fresh and creamy! If you do not want to break the bank, their HH and lunch specials will do you right. Do make reservations if you wish to sit at the sushi bar. Speaking of bars, they have a full bar and their martinis are perfectly made. You can expect 5-star service at this 5-star restaurant. Who would have thunk that one of the best sushi restaurants (IMHO) in Austin would be in the CP and located in a strip mall next to the Dollar Tree store!

Huge serving of chicken was served with the noodles, which were prepared to order with chili paste to make them perfectly extra spicy. This isn't necessarily an every-week dinner for us price-wise--hibachi can definitely be a splurge--but if we could justify going every week, we absolutely would. It is hands-down some of the best hibachi I've ever had. And hibachi seems simple enough: great meat, fried rice, fresh vegetables, sauces. But when it's done REALLY well, apparently there is a huge difference, because Japon has completely ruined mediocre hibachi for me. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, the meat is always cooked beautifully, the vegetables are perfect, the rice is ridiculous, and I could probably consume an irresponsible amount of their sauces. The food is actually so good that it inspired me to start buying fresh vegetables, good meat, rice, yum yum sauce and sriracha and making my own little version at home. It isn't Japon, obviously, but that's how much we love this food. What really deserves recognition, though, is their consistency. We've visited both locations, they've been absolutely SLAMMED, and somehow the service is still exceptional. We've never sat around forever waiting to be acknowledged or wondering where our server went. The staff is attentive, friendly and efficient every single time we've gone. The atmosphere at both locations is beautiful and lively, and of course there's the whole experience of watching your meal prepared right in front of you. Even the little details make it feel like a complete dining experience--from sitting down with a cold Topo Chico and fresh lemon to the little orange treat at the end. It's one of those restaurants where you leave already thinking about the next time you can justify going back. Yes, dinner for two can turn into a splurge. But we've never walked out feeling like the experience wasn't worth it. The quality of the food, atmosphere and consistently excellent service keeps us coming back. If you're craving hibachi in Austin, Sushi Japon is absolutely worth trying. Both locations have been fantastic for us. 10/10. If my budget had its way, we'd be regulars. If my stomach had its way, we'd live there.

When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess said that she didn't have the reso on her end; rather than apologizing or making a single effort to fix the issue, she just stared at us. We had to prompt her for clarification and next steps, and had to continue to prompt her through the process of getting us sat. When we finally sat down at a regular table, we waited about 15 minutes without a server coming by. I eventually flagged a server down, and we got our order under way. We requested the manager stop by to tell him about the issue with the reservation and the fact that his hostess needs additional training, and surprise, the manager was also not helpful. He did apologize for our reservation being lost, but blamed it on the system and denied any responsibility for taking care of it - basically just told us that "life is life". He did not offer a discount or any kind of relief for the setbacks or bad service. I wasn't expecting the world or anything, but good hospitality dictates that you do more that basically tell us to just deal with it. For the food: the sushi was pretty gnarly - it looked like somebody was angry at the fish when they were slicing. Most things needed salt. Steak and fried rice was good, but the vegetables were pretty much raw. I can forgive quite a bit when it comes to service, especially on graduation/mother's day weekend. But honestly I'm a little impressed at how little the entire staff cared about their guests.
