I first commissioned A Good Moving Co. several years ago. Their staff was warm, friendly, and professional. They expertly moved my Amish custom-made, sold oak furniture among other things. I was very pleased with the affordability too. Years passed, then stupidity hit. My own. We needed to move again and I hired another moving company. The worst experience ever! They were angry, rude, and unprofessional AND they damaged my prized Amish entertainment center when they dropped it. I was heartbroken! The repairs made were laughable. Fast forward to spring of 2020, I needed to relocate again and the first thing I did was look up A Good Moving Co. To my relief, they were still in business. I called and Cipriano gave me upfront pricing. It was still affordable and he was willing to reserve a spot for me on his calendar for an August move. I really appreciated knowing I could check this off my to-do list. Fast forward to July/August...Cipriano's staff confirmed arrival a week or two before. On moving day, I received a text giving me a status update and anticipated arrival time. When Jeff and Levi showed up, we reconfirmed pricing (10% discount for cash payments), my budget, and the items to be moved. Both men were exceptional to work with. I cannot say enough about how hard they both worked to expertly and efficiently move my household. They took great care with my things as they hauled them down flights of stairs, around corners, and through doorways. I was a bit shell shocked when the bill arrived because these men managed to move me a full two hours less than what was anticipated, saving me $300 (not including tip). I couldn't have been more pleased. Cipriano did get one thing wrong...he should've named his company: A Great Moving Co. They're stellar, absolutely, positively stellar. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. First, this is not being wrote in retaliation. I am not one to write bad reviews, but dealing with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. This company was brought in through Caring Transitions to move my Senior aged Mom from her 5 bedroom home after her house was sold. 1. A contract was never signed by myself or my Mom. 2. Within the 1st two hours of being there they weren't paying attention loading furniture and a wood filing cabinet rolled off the back of their ramp at door level and broke into pieces. 3. Within the two hours they were there they realized it was too big of a job for just 3 people. We approved calling in 2 more people to help with the move at a rate of $50 per hour. After they told us they could get the move done in 3 hours. 4. There were 2 pieces of furniture that the movers were told multiple times not to move because of being very old and family heirlooms. This direction was completely disregarded. And ended up being damaged. 5. The next 2 movers that came on were useless, moving around slowly or sitting down more than have the time. Yet we were supposed to pay for professional movers? 6. At the end every single piece of furniture that was moved was damaged in some way, shape or form. From a gouging and sheering off corners on a wood dining room table to pieces broken off of book shelves to white paint ground into the top of a red couch. 7. Multiple items were broken or destroyed that we saw as things were being unloaded. 8. At the very end they bring a bill inside for $2,250 and we said we are sure you are bonded & insured as we will need time to assess all the damages through unpacking. It was very evident that we did not have professional movers, but just some college students moving things. 9. A few days later we call and talk to the owner, Mr. Duran to get his take, and he took responsibility for NOT having professional movers there after representing he did have trained movers to move. 10. We said we would need few more days to go through unpacking to assess all of the damage, Mr. Duran said that was completely unreasonable and he wanted this settled today. 11. He offered to discount the bill by $550 because of all the damage IF the bill was PAID in CASH THAT DAY. 12. Mr. Duran stated his insurance would only cover .60 per lb of any damaged item and we told him that was not acceptable. 13. Mr. Duran said he didn't want to have to go through legal avenues and the expense, and we informed him we were fully willing to take this that route if things were not made right. 14. We had 2 very heated conversations over the phone with Mr. Duran and they both ended with hanging up on him for his demand for payment. 15. Mr. Duran did say he would take care of everything that needed to be fixed but he would have to be paid that day in cash. He would also come and move things out of the garage since the movers literally threw where ever into the garage clearly labeled boxes instead of putting them in rooms they belonged. We declined his offer, as his company had already done enough damage. 16. Based on another review on their FB page, we are glad we didn't pay him that day as it is clear that he says he will take care & fix things after he is paid, then does nothing. 17. We were served today April 18, 2018 with papers suing us for $2,500. If you have read this review, you see the amount has changed 3 times as well. 18. We will be happy to see A Good Moving Company & Mr. Duran in court with pictures of damages over double what he is trying to charge as a professional moving company but using guys with ZERO experience. We used 'A Good Moving Company' December 20th to move my father in laws belongings from his home in Littleton into a storage unit in Fort Collins. The guys, Chris, Nate & Richard were polite, respectful, and considerate of my father in laws home and belongings. They made sure that the artwork, antiques and valuables, along with the not so valuable furniture were all prepared carefully and then packed carefully in the truck and then unloaded and repacked into the storage unit. They were efficient with their time and all worked very hard together. They made a good team and each one was a pleasure to get to know throughout the course of the day. The movers were high on drugs, they stold a box marked new bathroom items for new bathroom worth over $300.00. They also left in the middle of the move. The owner Cipriano was beligerant and rude. He overcharged when he found out an organization was covering some of the cost for my disabled son. Took advantage of a disabled person. We had a very bad experience with this company. Let me start by saying that Cipriano's movers were, minimally, professional with us and I place most of the blame with the owner and his business model (which includes employing strong guys, but not professional movers). Let me state upfront--in case you don't want to read the details below--that 1) we spent *over three hours* reconfiguring and repacking our container after we paid the movers, 2) the owner, Cipriano, was unbelievably disrespectful and berating to me on the phone when I called to discuss my concerns, and 3) we showed pictures of how our container had been packed to the PODS employee who picked it up next day and he confirmed that had been packed poorly and incorrectly. Here are details of the two main issues we had: First, the packers did not know how to pack a shipping container for a long-distance move. If they weren't trained to do this, the job should not have been accepted by the company. Here are some of the issues we had: wood furniture resting/rubbing directly on other wood furniture, many items left standing alone or under/around other items with no securing (ex: heavy wood panels on wheels under a coffee table that would have been rolling/banging on the table legs), sizable gaps between items, heavy/pointed metal rod from bed frame angled directly on couch springs, etc. Of the ten ratchet levers we provided (essential for sound container packing) *two* were used for the entire 16-foot trailer. Our blankets, towels, rugs, and brand new role of bubble wrap were not used. Cipriano said to me afterwards on the phone they can only use moving blankets, not "household items." If this is a company policy, not only should this have been shared during our consultation, but the movers should know to communicate this when customers say, "please use these for padding." We would have been MORE than happy to wrap certain items ourselves if we knew they would be left exposed. Instead, all our items reserved for padding were dumped inside the POD on top of our belongings. Except for the back quarter of the container, the POD was half full--meaning that it wasn't packed up towards the top and secured back to front, but instead filled to the front with the top half of the container unused with loose items scattered on top. When the packers were near to being done and our glass patio table "couldn't fit," this was a problem because it was clear that with proper packing it should have been in the container. When we re-packed, everything fit without issue. Second, Cipriano (the *owner*) was instantly rude and defensive with me when I called to say I had concerns about the packing job. His main points: he allotted 1 hour for the work (clearly, an underestimation) and it took 2.5 and they didn't charge more--so why are we complaining? (Side note: the job started 40 minutes behind schedule because Cipriano did not tell his movers to bring cardboard and plastic as he indicated they would bring when we scheduled; so, they had to go get them and come back.) No business owner should use "we didn't charge you extra for more time than we estimated" as a way NOT to acknowledge poor work. He also asked why we didn't keep them there "to finish" the job and add the patio table and chairs. With the state of the packing job, this was not an option--I had zero trust that any repacking would have been sound and it was going to take serious time and rearranging to put in a glass table and set of 4 chairs. Cipriano also said, "The table is not heavy, just put it in!" (Seriously. He said this to me, as if customers should be required to finish the job themselves.) Near the end of our phone call, Cipriano said "his guys" were "disenchanted" with me. Of course, I have no idea what they said to him over the phone. But, this struck me as inappropriate and entirely irrelevant to the company's work quality. Since he seems like someone to write something offensive or untrue here, I'll elaborate: before the movers left, I said "I'm concerned that items like this [wood table legs in thin plastic wrap, etc.] aren't wrapped in anything or secured." This kind of feedback was my responsibility to give as a paying customer & I gave it calmly and respectfully. I said to them that we would do some re-arranging on our own, so the job was done and we could pay them. Last question Cipriano asked me, when he took a long-enough breath to stop angrily berating me was: "What would you like me to do?" I said, "I want you to come look at the packing job that was just completed." He said, "No. I'm not doing that." He did not request to see pictures or offer to look at them. He clearly DID NOT CARE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF WORK PERFORMED. This speaks volumes about the integrity of this company. I said I would be writing him a review and reporting the company to the Better Business Bureau, then I hung up. You've been warned. read more

Cole A. and Steven W. were faster than expected and faster than they should have been. Do not let these guys lift things alone. Tv stand ended up bent all to hell because they lifted it with one guy from the stalk instead of one on each end like they should have. $350 down the drain because they wanted to be macho. Didn't realize it until I got done with my move. EDIT: A year later, I bent my TV stand back into shape... If I'm honest about it, these guys were pretty impressive carrying a whole washer by themselves. No call or text 30 minutes after the scheduled time, I sent a text to Caprio who then informed me they wouldn't be there until 9:30 THAT night! I'm supposed to wait 4 hours? I wasn't given an apology, only asked to be understanding. I would've considered that request if I was given the same consideration. I chose this moving company due to there great reviews. I spoke with the owner, Ciprionio, prior to making a final decision. He was very accommodating in stating what the company offered. I was very impressed in that he continually stated, "we are here to make your life easier". Unfortunately, when moving day came the movers were 45 minutes late and I soon came to learn that the movers were inexperienced with loading my belongings. As a result, my bike was damaged. I called the owner to resolve the issue. Well, this did not go well either. He was very unprofessional. He proceeded to talk over me, yell at me, threaten lawyers then hung up the phone on me. As a result, I would highly recommend NOT using this company. Make sure and read over all paperwork that they shove in your face. If they damage a piece of furniture (which they did), the reimbursement back is pennies to the dollar if you don't take extra insurance out on it. Our nearly $4000 sofa was ripped and we will get less than $200 back from them for the piece because we were not explained a portion of the paperwork at all. We were asked to sign the other part of the sheet concerning their time in and out, while the other half of the sheet talked about purchasing extra insurance in case an item gets damaged. If you mark nothing on this portion of the sheet ( Which is what happened to us), then no extra insurance is placed on your belongings and damage to the furniture doesn't matter. Never will use them again, and I will let my apartment management know my disappointment so they will stop recommending them to other tenets. read more

Owner takes no responsibility, employees work hard but that's the only reason they get one star. They give 20% discount for good review. If a real customer speaks the truth about how bad they actual are The owner will send out another invoice and charge additional fees. Most Google reviews are fake and paid for by owner. This company doesn't care about your stuff and won't fix or pay for damages. Bottom line, customers lie about having good service or they get charge 20% more. I was reffered to.them saying they were a great bunch of guys & helped elderly, disabled, women fleeing violence for free When i contacted them i was told 1hr would be free, which.would be the drive time, but then i would have to pay $175.00 & hour after that! Buyer Beware: There was significant damage to both homes and to our furniture - they had a rented truck, too few guys for the job, insufficient tools, etc. The owner proceeded to blame us, as if it was our fault that his movers had damaged our property. After much debate the owner finally agreed that they were responsible for the damage and agreed to reimburse us for the repairs, only to then rescind the offer. read more

You can stop looking, you won't find a better moving company than these guys. Moving has always been one of my least favorite things to do, but Cipriano and his team have made the last three of my moves so much more of an enjoyable experience. That's not to say each move has gone perfectly though. My second move resulted in my TV getting broken beyond repair. I was upset, but I also understand this stuff happens when you move. It can happen to any moving company. It can happen with any business. What sets these guys apart is the fact that Cipriano is part of a rare breed of business owner. He's fair. Legitimately and honestly fair. I called him to inform him of my tv, so he pulled out my contract which clearly showed that I declined to purchase insurance. A lot of business owners would have treated me as a one-time only customer but he asked me how much my TV cost and then he sent me a check for half the cost. He didn't have to, but he did what was right. So if you're still on the fence about which company you're going to hire, know that every single one of them makes mistakes. I had a TON of little tiny liquor stor boxes and they moved them all from the second story down to the truck. And when we got into our new place (a much smaller place), they were just as friendly! They talked with me throughout the process, and even when they had trouble fitting the big couch through the doorway/staircase-I never heard them complain. They all just worked together like a machine! Highly recommend: "A GOOD MOVING COMPANY" My experience is that A GOOD MOVING COMPANY proved to be the leader in the industry! Here is my story: I originally hired a different company, lets call them "Company X", to offload a commercial size moving truck. The Company X showed up over an hour late completely unprepared to work... no dollies and no padding to protect walls (which the CEO promised). We scheduled the reservation with Company X a few days prior to my arrival. This company required a $100 deposit which we paid by credit card to hold our spot. The CEO of this company told us the rate of labor was $100 an hour and that we could pay by credit card (we wanted to pay this way for tax records). When the workers showed up they told us it was cash only and they increased the price from $100 to $137 per hour. I called to verify this with my wife... which she confirmed that the rate was $100. I mentioned this to the workers from Company X, which he replied "my wife is lying." This was coming from a guy covered in tattoos from face to toe and the other worker was just standing there high on some kind of heavy sedative drug. I immediately felt uncomfortable and told them to leave the property. I did not trust these criminals in my home and with my valuable belonging. We called the CEO to inform him of the situation but he decided to argue and refused to refund us our deposit. We had to call our credit card company and cancel payment to Company X. Feeling helpless and stranded with the need to offload the large truck myself... we made a called to "A GOOD MOVING COMPANY." Within an hour from calling them, two gentle men, I should say, studmuffins, promptly showed up at my doorstep. They were very clean cut, extremely polite, and very professional. They represented their company very well! They worked extremely hard to offload over 39000 pounds of items from the moving vehicle. They continued to work non-stop for hours without losing a beat. They were very gentle with all of my personal belongings with no damage. All items were correctly placed within the home based on the labels of the boxes. It is very rare to find the quality of work, service, and professionalism that these gentleman provided. I am a manager at a large company and am a little OCD... demanding perfection at all times. I am hard to please but was completely blown away by the amazing experience A GOOD MOVING COMPANY had provided for me. I highly recommend this company and will use them again without a second guess. The name of the two gentlemen that showed up were Jaime (if you ever want a job you can contact me anytime), and Markezicious (sp?). Both outstanding employees. I was running behind, due to the situation with Company X and I had to meet a deadline, so we called in for additional support of two other employees.
