I called A GOOD PLUMBER at 1130 am, said he would be on his way to R2 my toilet, BIG NO SHOW.

I had a wobbly toilet, so we took a look and the flange was broken on both sides and it was not a DIY fix. So I looked up best plumbers, read some reviews, and called this guy and got an answer immediately. I explained the situation and he said he could absolutely fix it and for good so this won't happen again. I asked his availability and he said he could come that afternoon but it would be after-hours since they were at a job and it was going to be 5 before they could come, but if I was OK til today it would be a lot cheaper. I told him cheaper is better and we set up a time this afternoon. He was very personable, quick, and thorough. He fixed everything and even grouted around the base. No way this throne is moving, it's flush with the floor. Flush, get it? As an extra added bonus we also found a tiny leak under the OTHER bathroom sink yesterday after repairing a drippy faucet and that DIY attempt went really really wrong, like inch of water on the bathroom floor wrong. Our bestie did a temporary fix but when it still dripped a teeny bit he said don't touch it, since the pro was coming anyway he should take a peek if it continued to leak. He did and now it doesn't! He didn't even know he was going to be asked to fix a sink but he was ready, willing, and able. I don't know what this sort of repair costs everywhere but I felt the cost was fair and the quality of work impeccable. He's my go-to for future plumbing issues now! read more

I just moved into my home and the toilet in the primary bath was leaking. They explained the problem to me and their planned solution, confirmed the price worked for me, and even updated me throughout the process. They had excellent communication and affordable pricing. I needed a 1/2 bath in my home. I had space in the laundry room. I called and had appointments with 2 other Plumbers. One was a no show the other wanted to charge $47 for the visit. The other plumber had no idea where the sewer lines were and kept telling me that they ASSUMED it went to the street in front and would have to tear up half my house concrete. I called A Good Plumber on a whim. They immediately came by because they were close. Without an appointment and without a consultation fee. A Good Plumber knew exactly where my lines in Goose Creek were in the back. Terry and Justin came out the next day and put in the 1/2 bathroom in a day. They were so wonderful and nice. I'm so excited and happy. It is beautiful. A Good Plumber's quote was less than others. They came in at budget and under the expected timeline. They are good people and good plumbers. Very professional and polite. I was having problems with my washing machine drain and a dripping bathroom faucet. He fixed the problem quickly and even did something quick and simple to the dripping bathroom faucet. I was thoroughly impressed and will be calling them again the next time I have some plumbing woes. Our sink had the dumb! ( did not work ) After purchasing snakes ( 2, and they are not slimy) to clear the drain and many jugs of draino.... none of which worked.... I decided it was time to call in the big guns~ a real plumber. Not only were they prompt, polite and called while in route... they answered the phone! I will admit I called one other place before and it went to a voice mail. With what to me looked like a medieval torture device I have seen on The Borgias, he fixed the sink and replaced the p-trap as well as gave advice on future routing of drains if the garbage disposal gets the dumb. A good plumber? Maybe. An honest business? Not so much. I had a ceiling leaking water in my first floor condo. They came, tore open my ceiling sheet rock 3 sqr feet and determined the water was coming from my upstairs neighbor. They went upstairs and crimped some pipes which stopped the leak. I asked if they could bill my upstairs neighbor who caused the leak, and they said no. I made the service call so I'm paying. Come to find out later that they had already billed my upstairs neighbor the same charge! That's wrong and I believe illegal. The owner has refused to contact me. I'll be reporting them to BBB as well as contacting my credit card company to charge them back the fee, I luckily paid with a credit card. Don't use these crooks! read more

Horrible at customer service. I have been trying to get them to complete a job that is halfway started. They never return calls or text. I would not recommend this company as they do not care about the customer. The job was quoted over a $1,000 which we have agreed to but they will not show up to do the work nor will they return calls or texts. A horrible company to work with. read more

They scheduled with us for between 2-3 pm on a Friday afternoon and didn't show. Of course they would not answer or return calls or texts after that. Now we are left trying to get someone over a weekend. I would never recommend "A Good Plumber". read more

NOT GOOD! Over charged to tighten a valve, cut out a 6" piece of drywall and suggested a whole house re-pipe even though there is nothing wrong with the pipes. Left the 6" hole for which we had to pay someone else to repair. Then owner promised to return our money as "that is not how I run my business".
