We opted not to get an outdoor kitchen ( which I do love) after having one catch fire in a brand new home we had built in Texas. FYI, the fire was all due to bad installation from the outdoor kitchen people , but it scarred me emotionally enough to only have a grill I can push into the back yard in case of emergency. After being told by first responders that my house would have exploded shortly, I knew we would be ever vigilant should we do this again. Al looked over the area and where the hook up valve was located and offered us sooooo many better options than where the builder had put it. He really knew his business and we were confident that for safety and aesthetics he was exactly the man for the job. And boy was he. He removed the old hook up valve which was poorly installed to start with( yes, this is a new home) and moved it to a much better location with all new hoses, connections and everything else needed for the job. Talk about a difference. He also had every tool for the job so there was no running back and forth to the store or back to the business. That was really nice. Carson, his apprentice was also incredibly helpful and found the wire needed in the grill to hook up to the starter. We were afraid that Lowe's wouldn't get there for the delivery in time and we would have to pay for another service call, but they made it just as they were finishing! A job WELL done!! Her it is a1 1/2 years later and one of the fittings they put in developed a pin hole. Again on a weekend they came out and fixed it for another $1300 for 20 minutes work. I called about the quality of the replacement parts they use and asked for a manager and got some plumber and he told me that's the quality of the parts they have nowadays. Wow! Everything was fine and then my house's water pressure took a nose dive. My neighbor called…read moreto tell us that a stream of water was gurgling up in the middle of our gravel driveway. Well that explains the water pressure issue. We called Beverly at 1:30pm that afternoon and by 4pm a crew of 2 people were here to help. I could not have asked for a better set of workers. Think of any positive attribute and that was pretty much them. Friendly and courteous, great communicators, incredibly strong work ethic, and just all around nice people. I'm talking about you Gustavo and E. They started by digging up the gravel driveway where the water was coming out. For the next 3 hours they keep shifting and expanding the hole, moving rock and dirt, and following the leak until they uncovered the section of offending pipe. It was getting dark at that point. They didn't have the type of pipe on the truck to fix it. So they packed up the truck and made a quick run to local True Value which was closing in 30 minutes. When they made it back and repaired the break it was pitch black outside and they were working by flashlight. By the time I checked on them again they had the hole filled back in, everything put back in place, and my water pressure restored. I learned that one of the guys had been going since 5:30am that morning and mine was their 6th job of the day. They gave my job all they had and got it done.
