    Dumi was amazing as our day-of coordinator for our wedding! super attentive to our needs and worries leading up to our wedding. She kept us on-track and solved a lot of logistical problems and so many things we didn't even think of; seating for the wedding ceremony, timing of the music walk-out times for the groom and bride veil adjustment, catering questions, and coordinating with all the vendors on the day of and the days leading up. She masterfully handled the craziness of our two families with an even hand --firm when she needed to be, and relaxed and funny in the brief moments of calm throughout the process. Very detail oriented and organized, fast response times to all of our emails. I cannot stress enough that we could not have pulled this off without Dumi. She is first class.

    Our November wedding would not have been the same without Dumi's help and expertise as our day-of-coordinator. We've corresponded via zoom calls and e-mail starting at a month before our big day. Even though we had most of our planning already done, there were still a lot of pending items and ever-changing details that we had to keep track of. Dumi helped us prioritize and address these things so that we can have a stress-free wedding day. She managed vendor communication and created a timeline that everyone referenced which is really extensive and thorough. She also successfully ran our wedding rehearsal the day before, which our friends and families really appreciated! She made sure everyone knew what they were doing and when. On our wedding day, she executed our vision perfectly. There were no details missed, and all of our guests are happy and impressed! My husband and I were also well taken care of, and we were able to do everything we planned on our big day. Thank you so much Dumi and team for bringing our ideas, wedding spreadsheets, and planning slides to life! I believe that every bride and groom should have a coordinator on their wedding day because the last thing you want to do is stress over DIY details, vendors not knowing what to do, or guests causing any trouble. None of that happened on our wedding day, thankfully, thanks to A Gordon Event. Dumi was that coordinator for us, and we highly recommend her!

    This is a review for our wonderful day of coordinator, Dumi!! We reached out to Dumi several months before our wedding date and felt at ease when we had our initial consultation with her. Her professionalism and attention to detail were evident during our meetings leading up to the wedding and during the rehearsal, but really shined during our wedding day. Everything ran so smoothly, from the weeks leading up to the wedding, the rehearsal, and throughout the actual wedding day. My partner and I reflected on how much fun and carefree our wedding was, and it was all due to Dumi's wonderful and thoughtful work planning and coordination behind the scenes. She is an excellent communicator and quickly resolved any questions that our multitude of vendors had. Our friends, grooms people, and family felt that she did a wonderful job.     Dumi and the entire A Gordon Event team were nothing short of magical for our March 2024 wedding. From our first consultation, Dumi's thoroughness and attention to detail left me almost speechless (which is hard do with a Type A bride like myself). You can definitely tell she knows what she's doing when you have no follow up questions! I knew it would take a specific personality to be able to corral our bridal party and I was impressed that this team was able to do so with such ease. Our wedding day went off without any hiccups (or at least none that I knew about) which only further highlights how much hard work was going on behind the scenes. I could go on forever about how grateful my husband and I to the A Gordon Event team, but I will just say that hiring them was the best decision we ever made and our wedding wouldn't have been as smooth without them!

    Dumi was a dream to work with! I got engaged and set a wedding date that was within 9 months (we wanted to accommodate family schedules, etc). Given that I manage projects all the time at work, I thought it would not be a problem to coordinate my own wedding. Well, I found out very quickly that that was not the case. A few months after setting the wedding date - I started scrambling around to find at the very least a month of coordinator. Dumi was among the first few people that I reached out to and she was definitely the first to respond. We set up an introductory call with her and knew instantly that we wanted to hire her for partial planning services. She is beyond professional, keeps very detailed notes, and clearly knows what she is doing. We had no idea we had to lock down certain vendors ASAP and would have been lost without her. Dumi also has a great portfolio of other wedding vendors that she has worked with, and her recommendations were top notch. I now realize how important it is to have a professional help with your wedding and I cannot recommend Dumi enough. I was completely relaxed the month up to the wedding knowing that I was in good hands. Our day was beautiful and went without a hitch (at least none that I am aware of, which speaks volumes of Dumi and her team!). You will 10000% not regret hiring A Gordon Event for your wedding!

    Do yourself a big favor. Stop your wedding planning/ coordination search and just hire Dumi right now. You will NOT regret it. Dumi was my day-of wedding coordinator for my wedding on 10/15/22 and the day could not have gone more smoothly. I literally would not change a single thing about my wedding day and Dumi and her team are to thank. Dumi was the first to get back to me out of the five coordinators I reached out to and that level of responsiveness and enthusiasm locked me in. Her level of responsiveness and enthusiasm never diminished. She never once left me hanging and she brought great energy to every meeting, the rehearsal, and the day of. What I appreciated most about Dumi is her confidence. Any time I had a question, she let me know what she's found to work best from her experience. This made planning very straightforward for me with very little second guessing. Her confidence kept me in reality and on budget. Her confidence allowed us to have an efficient, effective rehearsal and therefore a super fun rehearsal dinner. Her confidence commanded respect from my vendors. Her confidence never overshadowed my needs or dreams. Her confidence gave me confidence in my choices and in letting go on my big day. If you need any more convincing, I'll tell you that Dumi STOPPED TRAFFIC in the middle of downtown San Francisco so that my photographer could get an epic shot of my husband and I in the street. That sums up Dumi as a wedding coordinator. She ensures that your day is YOUR day and do whatever it takes. I cannot thank Dumi enough for all of her hard work and dedication.     If you need someone to handle all the little details for your wedding, Dumi is your person! Dumi thinks of absolutely everything and anything along the way. I was so grateful to work with her the month before my wedding to nail down logistics and final planning. On the day of, I didn't have to worry about a thing because Dumi had it handled in every way.     My wedding was 2/18/23 and it was absolutely PERFECT! WE LOVE DUMI! She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly! I really appreciated how thorough and responsive she was from the moment I hired her about 6 months out from my wedding. Even though she was hired for day of coordination, she was very helpful and did everything she could to make sure the day went perfectly. Even designing my wedding venue with all my decor on the day before the wedding after our wedding ceremony rehearsal. The whole process went so smooth, we were really in sync and she made it a priority to know my vision exactly! I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator to help me make all my wedding dreams come true. I'm sad the wedding is now over and we can't work together anymore. We definitely recommend Dumi for all your wedding coordination needs, you won't regret it!!

    I can't say enough good things about Dumi - she was so kind, funny, communicative, a great listener, a lifesaver at many times, and made sure our big day was a complete success. Our wedding would not have been as amazing and perfect without her and Brandin there. She made sure we got to do everything we wanted to make our day special. I have no idea how she can manage to make a 160 person wedding run so smoothly but she made it look easy - it brought me so much peace of mind knowing she was there. Some memorable moments for me are that while I was busy on my wedding morning Dumi made sure everything was in place and reported back to me what was happening/being set up so I never felt out of the loop. Then I realized I forgot silver sharpies for the guest book and out of nowhere she pulls out exactly what we needed from her fanny pack!! She is always one step ahead. Dumi also made sure my pictures were on point and had the idea to throw my veil to make it look like it was blowing in the wind - she literally thinks of everything. She was not only my coordinator but also my bestie for the day. If there is anyone you can trust to bring your vision to life during your wedding, it's Dumi.     If you're thinking of hiring a wedding coordinator, LOOK NO FURTHER. Dumi is everything I could have asked for and more. Having Dumi as our coordinator was the BEST decision my husband and I could have made. From the beginning, Dumi was extremely responsive and professional. We had a zoom call early on in the planning process and Dumi helped me tie up so many loose ends and helped me with questions I wouldn't have even thought to ask my vendors. She completely took the time to read through my contracts and was so meticulous in ensuring all communication among vendors was clear and concise. Dumi attended a venue walkthrough with me and my husband and created the most amazing timeline for the day of my wedding to keep our day running smooth. Two days before my wedding my videographer fell through due to Covid. Dumi was ON IT and helped me find many qualified videographers within my budget literally within hours. She literally came to my rescue and helped me stay calm and stress free. On the day of the wedding, Dumi was so helpful with keeping our wedding party on schedule. She planned our first look so beautifully. She was there to address every need and issue that came up on the day and literally left me stress free and able to enjoy every moment of my wedding day. Dumi was quick to come up with solutions for problems that arose during the day and put out mini fires that I had no idea about. I feel eternally grateful for A Gordon Event for making my wedding day one to remember forever.

    Dumi WAS THE MVP of our wedding! All we had to do was show up and enjoy our wedding day. I never looked at a clock or had to remember what was next on the timeline. Dumi handled it all. I was able to be fully present day of my wedding with my husband and my guests. Where other vendors fell short Dumi stepped in and did other people job behind the scenes! I didn't even know until after. She is able to adjust quickly when things don't go as planned. We were supposed to have live musicians during our Mocktail hour and they didn't show up. So she pivoted and had our DJ set up music for our guest instead. She's a great problem solver. I fully trusted her decision day of if things needed to be changed. She communicated with every vendor when and where they needed to be. Dumi is very well organized. She set up our seating chart, put on our cake topper and so much more (pictures are shown below). She's was a calming presence throughout the day and never seemed stressed. Dumi is great at what she does! Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made to ensure our day ran so perfectly, and it did!

However, a few months before the wedding I was so overwhelmed with all the detail that Brenda offered to meet and she just helped me organized my priorities and made me feel really good about the progress I had made. She did the same 6 weeks later. OMG, so helpful to keep me going and manage the overwhelm. As the date grew nearer, she started leading more to ensure we took care of those horrible details (seating charts, signage, communication with vendors, table set ups, and the timeline, etc). At every moment she was calm, lovely, relatable, fun, reassuring, and extremely competent. The week before the wedding she came over and took ownership of all the "stuff" (candles, ceremony items, decorations, etc). That felt sooo good. She was great at the rehearsal and made sure "all the cats were herded"so we got through the rehearsal and worked out all the details. The day of the wedding? We were so relaxed and didn't think about a single thing. The tables were set exactly as we had discussed, the ambiance was amazing, every little detail she had taken care of. and then she cleaned up and stored everything for us and then brought it back to us a couple of days later. During the wedding, Brenda was a total ninja....I barely saw her at the wedding as she was in the background making it all happen so we could enjoy our guests. A guest even took a picture of her that makes her look like the super hero she is, LOL! You will LOVE working with Brenda. I cannot recommend her more vigorously. She is amazing.

Not only is Cierra hypercompetent at her job and super solutions-oriented and knowledgeable, she is a plain joy to talk to and bounce ideas off of and joke around with. Just an all-round cool human that added to the overall atmosphere of love and appreciation we wanted to foster at our wedding (while also running an impeccably tight ship without breaking a sweat). We picked the partial planning & design package but honestly, after working with her, we wished we had just done full service planning. In our first meeting we gave her an idea of what we had envisioned for the day, including a shared pinterest board. From there she made a design deck that really brought our day to life. Alex provided the best vendor recommendations (including for some with whom she had relationships and discounts), thoughtful design ideas, and guidance on the overall flow of the day. She joined us for our food tasting, met with us in person to pick out our rentals, and she coordinated a site visit with the vendors in preparation for the wedding. We didn't think we needed a content creator, but she even provided us with one and it was a great addition to capturing the memories of the day! Throughout the planning process, Alex was easy to reach, responsive, collaborative, open to feedback, and genuinely easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, Alex brought everything together seamlessly. She handled every detail behind the scenes, even things that didn't go as planned were handled quickly and professionally. This really allowed us to be fully present and actually enjoy the day. When I walked down the aisle for the first time, I was blown away!! It was BEYOND, BEYOND what we had even hoped for. But seems like money is what you value more. You offer to pay me to take my post down yet you don't respond to my emails. So at the end of the day, it's you who can't communicate. It was a total surprise, flawlessly planned and executed by the incredible team at Bash Please, and filled with exactly 40 of my favorite people. Yes, 40 people for 40 years -- how perfect is that? The setting was stunning. Bash Please somehow captured everything I love and turned it into an effortlessly beautiful, inviting, and joy-filled atmosphere. Every detail -- from the long communal tables to the coastal-inspired décor -- felt personal and thoughtful, like it was made just for me. Because it was. And the food? A crab feed feast that dreams are made of. Piles of fresh, buttery crab, warm sourdough, crisp salads, and all the fixings. The staff seemed very flustered on what to do and how to accommodate everyone. My boyfriend and I were offered to sit outside, which we took because we were not willing to wait any longer! I will say the manger sorting this out for us was extremely sweet and I did appreciate her. We were seated in the balcony which faces the big screen on chase center and had additional smaller TV's upstairs. I will say we were seated on the very end where there is no TV, which was kinda a bummer. The outdoor area was not finished yet, but I was surprised this seat was offered as seating. It was apparent that this section wasn't complete yet and I felt like I wasn't getting the full experience sitting in an incomplete part of the restaurant. As for the food, my boyfriend and I wanted to try a little bit of everything because foodies...DUH! The waiter bringing out food said "Wait... Is there more people jointing you? This is a lot of food." And he was being completely serious. Not that I should have to explain anything to him, when I am a customer giving good business. I have never had a waiter say this to me. This comment was completely unnecessary and yes it did really kill the excitement that I had to be here and try out this new restaurant. Overall, probably won't be back. There's a lot of hype around this place but it will most likely be busy for the next few months but hopefully they are able to figure out how to accommodate guests during games and hire staff with manners. Having said that, this place is great and I will be going again in the future for any big game.
